08/10/2025: A historic venue. I've witnessed various transformations over the years (since the '90s), but it's always top-notch. The food is always excellent. The staff is friendly and approachable. Always ready to innovate and they never fail. I'd say, without a doubt, that in terms of food, it has no competitors.

28/09/2025: On September 27, 2025, I had a pizza with sausage and broccoli rabe, a beer, and to finish, I had profiteroles. Everything was delicious. I recommend the place, and the waiters are friendly and you can joke around. PS: I'm Enzo, a friend of Carolina.

07/12/2025: We tried to go to this place in Bologna yesterday and booked online, since the website and the restaurant allow it. A few minutes after booking on Google, I received an email confirmation of the reservation, which I'm attaching to this review. Nothing more. Five people plus a high chair for a 1-year-old. We arrived at the place at the indicated time and they couldn't find the reservation. They redirected me to the manager, who, annoyed and rude, informed me that she had forgotten to close online reservations and that there were no tables available. I reiterated that I had also received the confirmation and that, more importantly, we had a 1-year-old child to feed. Instead of finding a solution to her absence, she approached me annoyed and asked me to leave so as not to make a fuss and make a fool of herself with the customers sitting in the dining room. Kudos to the management.

17/12/2025: I wasn't impressed. It's a tourist trap. Nothing exceptional. I think there are better places around! A platter costing €32, which I found to be poor. The waiter who served us even said it could feed 4 people. I don't think that's true! A large salad that I can make better if I try. The tomatoes need to be cut into smaller pieces. They almost put them whole! A cold piadina was nothing special. The tortellini with meat sauce was perhaps the only decent dish. No, I don't recommend it because it's expensive, in fact, very expensive in some respects. Go elsewhere.

14/12/2025: Let me preface this: I'm from Bologna and I'm a huge fan of restaurants, trattorias/osterie, and inns in the city center, because despite the tourism, I've always eaten very well, almost everywhere. So, I expect at least the traditional dishes to be good and made according to tradition, no ifs, ands, or buts. I ate the saddest tagliatelle with ragù I've ever eaten, bland and definitely not hand-rolled, with a flavorless ragù. Honestly, for €14 a plate, I expect much more! The table next to me asked for tortellini with ragù, and they gave them to them (UNACCEPTABLE). To be completely honest: the choice to show off the "kitchen" is wonderful because it's so characteristic, but I think it's appropriate to tell the chef that preparing a plate of tortellini in broth and, at the same time, sticking my hand into the broth to pick up a tortellino and eat it before serving the dish to a customer is truly disgusting. If I had seen the scene before sitting down to eat, I would definitely have left. I think you want to make too much money without thinking about quality. Never again.

03/10/2025: We've been customers of this pizzeria for years, but unfortunately, we've seen how it's gradually deteriorated over the years. I mean, the dough remains excellent, but the menu is very limited and not free to customize your own pizza. If you go outside their selection, the additions cost a fortune. The much-vaunted fior di latte mozzarella on the menu, I'm sorry, but it "NOT delivered!" I'm from the South and I know how to recognize real fiordilatte, it's stringy and creamy, it's unmistakable! The customer relationship is non-existent, they charge for delivery even if you're 50 meters from the place!!!!.. Plus, it's getting more and more expensive!!!.. I don't think people are stupid, and in my opinion, being clever never pays off if you own a business. There are other Neapolitan pizzerias in the area that are more honest and still of high quality. Sorry! 👎 Obviously, he couldn't respond. Thanks for the criticism, it helps us improve! As if she alone paid the costs and justified everything. I should also point out that mozzarella fior di latte certainly doesn't require any description; it's easy to recognize everywhere; it doesn't take a Southerner to tell the difference even just by looking at it. 20/12/2025: Room quality is poor and outdated. The shorter/bald manager (Massimo?) was quite rude and unprofessional. I am from the US on a business trip, and when we didn’t quite understand each other (I asked not to be seated next to the kitchen door where they were banging dishes around during the main dinner service (which is unprofessional in the first place considering the dining room has 22 of 25 tables open), in the dining room with other people he raised his voice and exclaims with his hand “DO YOU SPEAK ENGLISH?!” And made a scene in front of everyone. Obviously I speak English, it was intended to be a mean spirited insult from a childish and small man, and was quite unnecessary and lacking of professionalism. The table they insisted I then sit at afterword was dirty (with plenty of unused, clean tables around, purely out of their own laziness), and the waiter brought me the wrong food after I specifically asked for the dish I saw someone else eating, which looked good, so I particularly asked for. I was too tired from travel and this childish behavior to insist on the correct order. The food wasn’t terrible, but every other meal I have had in Italy was far better. On another occasion I simply asked for “an extra pillow,” from the same guy, Massimo, since he was at the front desk, and you would think I was asking him to conduct rocket science by the ego and unsettling energy he brought to the encounter. Staring at me with crazy intense eyes like a depraved, unnecessarily upset man. I don’t know how this place calls itself “4 stars,” when it is this outdated, inhospitable, and unkind in service, but I certainly will never stay here again. It isn’t difficult to be hospitable, it just takes intent, but if you have an immature and mean spirited attitude, then you shouldn’t be in this line of work (and perhaps need to see a therapist). This was a very poor stay for the money they charge compared with anywhere else in Europe I have been. In the 70+ nights I have stayed in a hotel in Europe, I have never encountered someone who acted so unprofessional and made my stay uncomfortable like this rude little man did. Nor have I ever had the desire to leave one single “negative,” review - until this one. The two older gentleman working the kitchen/dining room, and lady at the desk were kind and professional however, as the only saving grace, but Massimo is a clown for the way he behaved. Plenty of nicer and kinder places, (without tiny, old, uncomfortable beds) to spend your money.

30/11/2025: The staff were friendly and helpful with any needs. The rooms were always tidy and clean. The breakfast was well-organized and plentiful. I should add that I enjoyed dinner very much, both in terms of the service and the food.

21/12/2025: For the price, this is the best trattoria in the valley, in my opinion. I also recommend the snack on holiday afternoons from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

08/11/2025: If you want to spend a few hours in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere, Trattoria Naldi is definitely the best place. The food is home-cooked and reminiscent of typical 1980s dishes. You're served in order, and you wait patiently for your turn after the previous one has been served. But the atmosphere is worth the wait to enjoy the authentic food. Stop by this trattoria if you love slow food.

24/08/2025: From a grocery store to a bear-friendly trattoria, it's halfway complete. The lady at the tables is very nice and genuine. The place is very simple, like the food, but I wasn't expecting anything different. Both the tagliatelle and the ravioli are so-so, the house wine is good, and the artichokes and spinach are delicious.

30/11/2025: I don't recommend this pizzeria. We ate in the cold, wearing jackets. The tables and chairs were dirty. The prices weren't justified by the quality of the food. The service lacked the basics of hospitality. Being an entrepreneur isn't just about making ends meet. I recommend training both personally and professionally. This pizzeria isn't suitable for an adult clientele.

19/11/2025: I ate at this pizzeria after seeing a show at the adjacent arena. The Neapolitan pizza wasn't bad, and the craft beer was good. The only downside was the 45-minute wait for the pizza. The atmosphere was so cold I could barely keep my jacket on. The prices were high, and the final rip-off: they charged me for 4 covers for 2 people. Not recommended.

31/08/2025: I'm a regular customer at this takeout pizzeria and I can't help but compliment Guido on how he manages the place: the pizzas are always excellent and the atmosphere is welcoming. Lately, I've been pleased to see a new guy at the cash register: he's truly kind and courteous, qualities you don't always expect from someone so young. It's nice to see new guys putting themselves out there and bringing a fresh approach to the job. This place is truly worth choosing every time! Well done, Guido!!!
