09/07/2025: We ate here a few years ago and loved it. We were here again this week and were beyond disappointed. The service was terrible, and the quality of the food had declined significantly. The waiters preferred smoking and private wine tastings to serving customers. We ordered pasta without anything for our almost one-year-old son, which ended up being billed for €14 as tagliatelle al ragú. Just disappointing and a real rip-off!

30/08/2025: We asked if we could sit down for dinner at 2:00 PM, and they said yes, but we had until 2:30 PM, which is when the kitchen closes. As soon as we sat down, we heard the kitchen staff clearly yelling at us because they were tired from working. After 2 minutes, already knowing what we wanted to eat, the waitress arrived and also made it clear we weren't welcome. We got up and left. I'm a former waitress, and I've never seen such behavior because it's absurd. Anyone who doesn't want to work should stay home. I won't be going back there again. I feel sorry for the owner, who was otherwise kind.

28/08/2025: We went to this restaurant last night for the first time. The service was disastrous, with little empathy for the customer, a rush to close the place, and a generally annoyed attitude in the responses we gave, no matter the topic. There was a 40-minute wait between the first and second courses, and when we pointed this out, they simply said, "It's coming." without apology or justification. We had to ask for water, which had long since run out, and ask for the empty wine to be cleared away, which was cluttering up a table for two. The dishes we ordered were good, but the portions were meager, and the price was exorbitant in comparison.

12/07/2025: Ho partecipato alla degustazione di pesce del 11 luglio non sono stata soddisfatta di alcuni piatti ma questo e' una questione di gusto personale ...quindi vorrei invece parlare della poca attenzione nel far conoscere azienda e vino versato per ogni portata ...ragazzini al servizio non preparati e capo sala che non ricordava l'azienda e provenienza del vino versato ...quindi mi chiedo perche' ho speso così tanto x una degustazione a mio parere mediocre

24/08/2025: We were looking for a place to eat in the city center. Apperantly this was the only place that was open. We arrived, the food was alright (not good by any standards) but the guy behind the desk had the worst attitude i have ever witnessed from a snackbar employee. It was like he wanted us out of there as fast as possible. He gave me the ticket and hit me on the lower arm. When we finally got our food they did not give us our full order. So we had to go back to the annoyed employee to get the rest of the food we paid for. Overall a terrible experience.

12/07/2025: If you pass by Patatata and hear reggaeton blasting, stop right away because you're about to eat some excellent hot dogs. Here, the sandwiches aren't just sandwiches: they're flavor bombs loaded with sauces, crispy fries, and a cheerful vibe. The owner—a volcano of Venezuelan charm—welcomes you with a smile that makes you hungry just looking at him. Bite, listen, dance: between bites, you'll find yourself swaying your shoulders to the beat, forgetting you're in Bologna and not on a Caribbean beach. Generous portions, fair prices, and an atmosphere that makes you want to return the next evening. Patatata is a must-see for those who love to eat well, get their hands dirty with ketchup, and dream of the Latin sun even under the Two Towers.

13/08/2025: Excellent pizza, available for eat-in or takeout. Very friendly staff and an excellent pizza chef who generously topped the pizzas. Good value for money. We'll be back!

31/07/2025: I sometimes get takeout pizza from this place on weekends. Overall, I consider it a good place: the pizza, which is slightly higher than other pizzerias, is quite good. They're also always punctual: in a year of orders, they were only late once (by just a quarter of an hour), and they even corrected the slight delay, notifying you immediately. So, if you're in the area, you can stop by and enjoy a good pizza.

29/07/2025: Very good sushi, an all-you-can-eat dinner for €23.90 excluding drinks and desserts. One of the best in Bologna. Edit: In 2025, I'll confirm what I said above. Still one of the best in Bologna. Now €27 for dinner. Definitely try the sushi specials, they're amazing.

27/07/2025: A very well-maintained restaurant just outside the walls of Bologna. A very extensive menu of Japanese and/or Asian dishes, good quality but not unforgettable. I come here every now and then and recommend it.

The opening hours on the website said it closed at 7:00 PM, but when I arrived at the pastry shop around 5:00 PM, I found a sign with summer hours... it closes at 3:00 PM... too bad about the cake for my niece. I was supposed to order it for Monday... but I'm coming from Maggiore Hospital... it's an hour's drive there and back...

12/07/2025: The legendary Kroffo! Always exceptional pastries! If you need to take some pastries somewhere and want to make a good impression, come here! Among the absolute best I've ever had. Totally rooted in the local atmosphere, this historic pastry shop is truly legendary.

24/08/2025: From a grocery store to a bear-friendly trattoria, it's halfway complete. The lady at the tables is very nice and genuine. The place is very simple, like the food, but I wasn't expecting anything different. Both the tagliatelle and the ravioli are so-so, the house wine is good, and the artichokes and spinach are delicious.

16/08/2025: On the road to Futa, turning off at Barbarolo on a curve, you'll find a historic local trattoria known only to those who have been in the Bolognese Apennines for three generations. Yes, because from an old oil and wine shop, then tobacconist, and finally a family-run trattoria, you wouldn't expect to find a cuisine offering Michelin-starred first courses. Stop and enjoy the cannelloni, ravioli, and rosettes, all made with fresh homemade pasta. Every bite will take you back to when you were little, when your mothers or grandmothers delighted you with dishes that will remain etched in your memory. Simple service and simple cuisine, but definitely worth a try.

16/08/2025: Seven of us were there for breakfast and had croissants with various fillings and coffee/cappuccino. Both were delicious, and the service was very friendly. Definitely recommended!
