09/03/2025: Ragazzi che pienezza di se, oltre ad essere maldestro e poco professionale credo sia di una antipatia di suo da 10 e lode. Io non credo nonostante mia alta frequentazione di bar che ho dasempre, di aver mai assistito a cose del genere, diciamo che il suo ego lo precede. Un barista da baretto di paese , piu' che da bar cosi' tanto decantato, secondo me gli piace di piu' stare al cellulare che servire, ma tolto questo che sara' una sua scelta, credo che il piacere di andare al bar svanisca quando hai dei musi lunghi cosi', da farti cascare la "brioches"per terra. risposte fuori dalle righe , e confidenza che in ambienti del genere non credo si debba prendere. Il personale e' assolutamente da rivedere in totale. Brioches nella media, cappuccino 5/10 Laura d.

23/02/2025: The service is quite fast, but I found the menu to be very basic. Tuna and salmon sashimi choices are limited to one serving per person. The salmon is good, but I wasn't crazy about the tuna. When I go to eat in a similar restaurant, I eat almost exclusively sashimi or sushi with salmon and raw tuna. Of the gunkans I tasted, the one with pineapple and corn had almost no flavor of the fruit at all, but only of the corn. The gunkan with octopus and vegetables had a strong vinegar flavor and you could taste a lot of the pepper which covered the flavor of the fish. A tip at the end of meals, a nice couple of glasses of hot plum sake to digest. The alcohol is almost invisible and it is very sweet. An excellent ally for digesting well. 10/02/2025: Place in a fairly convenient area to reach, we went for an event on Saturday evening. Let's say definitely not one of the busiest evenings from what we understand. Excellent service from all the staff and excellent sushi, certainly one of the most expensive à la carte sushi in Bologna.

10/02/2025: One of the best sushi restaurants in Bologna. The counter at the entrance is very glamorous, nothing to envy of the venues in large metropolises. Place with attention to the smallest details, open kitchen, soft lights, excellent service, excellent music with DJ sets, excellent food and cocktails. Nice people! Definitely a place I will frequent often. I recommend it.

29/12/2024: Favorite bar for my breakfasts and aperitifs in the centre, large and very good fresh croissants, very welcoming and well-kept environment thanks also to the nice and friendly atmosphere created by the staff (all impeccable), very good aperitifs, nice atmosphere even in the evening, advised!

27/12/2024: The 'summer chocolate' is recommended and worth trying, requested hot and served in the form of a polaretto. But let's get to us... Arrived for an aperitif, except that after almost half an hour the staff was solicited, until that moment no one had come to take the order (and to say that the internal space is not particularly large). During the eternal wait, some power cables located between the table we occupied and the window were moved, the latter kept open for several minutes despite the cold. The drink was accompanied by a meager service of pizzas and various appetizers and, during the course of the evening, the place found itself in total absence of light two or three times, probably following a short circuit. I can understand the unexpected, I can understand the confusion dictated also by the greater influx of people given that it was a public holiday, but at least the courtesy of apologizing to the customers... We were also delighted by a surcharge on each drink, perhaps linked to the covered. Highly not recommended!

11/02/2025: I called to reserve a table for four people. The owner is incredibly rude, I asked where they were, since I knew that the old place had been closed, as well as some general information that I wasn't even able to express since he wouldn't let me talk. Finally, bored by my attempted questions, he rudely told me to go eat somewhere else and hung up the phone on my face. But I will definitely go elsewhere, presumption and arrogance do not deserve other words.

22/01/2025: Disappointing experience even before trying it. I intended to book at the Lambrusco restaurant, intrigued by its proposal, but the experience was disappointing even before setting foot there. After calling for information, I found myself faced with a rather ambiguous situation: instead of answering clearly about the availability of the restaurant, the person who answered insistently tried to convince me to try another place, as if the restaurant no longer existed. Sifting through online reviews, I noticed that many customers have complained that the official website reports the restaurant has been closed since last June, which raises further doubts about the reliability of the information provided.

25/01/2025: Posto semplice ma molto accogliente. Il posto mi è piaciuto molto perché davvero familiare. Abbiamo mangiato bene, ma avrei preferito che i piatti fossero un poco più abbondanti il cibo era delizioso.

15/02/2025: Locale cui deve nome e fama a quello precedente sito per decine d’anni in via Broccaindosso , noto e apprezzato da tutti, grandi e piccini, esperti gastronomi bolognesi ed internazionali. Dalle connotazioni tipiche del bistrot di classe parigino, tinte noir con specchi decorativi intercalati da coerente grafica artistica: un melange di déjà vu, art deco, accogliente e di fascino, dove ci si sentiva a casa con una marcia culinaria in più….l’unica caratteristica, ahimé rimasta, quest’ultima, indiscussa e superlativa dello chef che ha creato e perpetrato il piacere di ritrovarsi, allora, attorno a un piccolo tavolo, intimo e a stretto gomito con altri gaudenti commensali che apprezzavano, spesso con cognizione di causa e competenze eno-gastronomiche e culinarie, l’ambiente in una perfetta simbiosi e fusione con la creatività dolce, calda e mai stravolgente della cucina, rivisitata con arte e savoir faire dalle origini lucane al trapianto bolognese attraverso il Mondo e il Giappone in particolare. Nuovo locale, "agli Orti", nato per dare spazio, d’estate col suo bel giardino dentro le mura cittadine, a un secondo accogliente e piacevole ambiente gastronomico all’aperto dove si cservivano piatti, preparati sostanzialmente nella cucina del locale principale, al fresco e ampio respiro estivo sul prato del giardino - accogliente e privato di uno speciale dehors, distaccato dalla sede principale ma ad esso intimamente connesso con un evidente e succulento filo gastro-ombelicale, ben curato e dove erano posti tavoli sull'erba ben distanziati ma altrettanto accoglienti e confortevoli che riuscivano a creare la stessa suadente, ammaliante e coinvolgente inebriante atmosfera. Amara sorpresa nell'impatto con l’ambiente, l’accoglienza, lo spirito del nuovo locale sorto in sostituzione di quello storico, ahimé chiuso e perso, all’interno di quell'edifico che ospitava il locale estivo, all’aria aperta. Un vecchio palazzo anche dall'esterno anonimo, con ingresso semi-nascosto, su una strada del centro storico senza portici e marciapiedi, come invece tipico a Bologna, per questo patrimonio Unesco (portici su cui affacciava il ristorante arcinoto d'un tempo. Un locale freddo e anonimo, senza pathos né calore sia da parte delle pareti, pavimenti e tavoli (arredamento) che del personale, inespressivo e robotico, frenetico e assente che ti accoglie e serve di corsa “col fiato sul collo”, facendoti sentire del tutto un corpo estraneo, un numero da eliminare prima possibile per dar spazio a un altro numero, ospite indifferente all’oste e agli altri commensali, decisamente a disagio come un pesce fuor d’acqua, costretto a star seduto fra mura e mobilio freddo e impersonale contornato da inservienti frettolosi come fossero gestiti da una AI (intelligenza artificiale) che tutto riescono nei loro compiti, professionalmente ineccepibili, fuorchè a farti sentire a tuo agio, calorosamente e piacevolmente ben accolto. Un’esperienza conclusa nello scontro inatteso e crudo con una nuova realtà che lascia solo delusione e rigetto, dopo più di 30 anni trascorsi felicemente nello storico ed amato ristorante di via Broccaindosso frequentato con piacere e spirito amichevole più volte all’anno in coppia, in famiglia e finanche riempiendolo integralmente con amici e soci dell’Accademia Italiana della Cucina e dell’A.I.S. Chapeau invariato al grande chef Mario, amico d’un tempo di cui spero conservare l’amicizia, nonostante la presente sincera ma ahimé critica recensione del nuovo locale. Con la solita franchezza che mi contraddistingue, ben nota a lui e...ad altri amici collaboratori, fornitori, frequentatori del ristorante Scacco Matto in via Broccaindosso, che ha segnato una pietra miliare nella storia della ristorazione bolognese, e che come me hanno valutato e si sono allontanati loro malgrado da questa nuova creazione . Con immutato affetto e stima per Mario Ferrara, tanto gli dovevo per onestà, trasparenza e lealtà dopo l’esperienza di poche settimane fa (31.1.25) nel nuovo locale ove non mi sono sottratto, durante la mia permanenza, dal rilevargli il mio disagio e disappunto per quanto ora più dettagliatamente descrittogli.

21/01/2025: Degustazione con amici in uno dei ristoranti che più amo a Bologna. Si mangia benissimo, coccolati da persone speciali. Bravi, anzi bravissimi!
