I visited based on a recommendation from an Italian friend. It is a place where you can experience Bologna’s heritage, and enjoy the romance and ambiance while listening to the sound of bells ringing from somewhere. The staff are friendly, and the food is delicious. You can enjoy all of Bologna’s famous dishes at a reasonable price. It is a shame that it is not well-known among Korean tourists. I highly recommend experiencing it at least once.

Went for dinner yesterday and absolutely loved this hidden gem of a restaurant. Ate until we were ready to burst! Delicious food and great owner who attended to us. It’s a down to earth place with super food (decent prices too), highly recommended for anyone looking for a non-pretentious meal :)

The food was excellent, both the appetizers and the pasta. They have a lovely terrace and we were very comfortable. Inside, the bar and restaurant are very authentic; being underground, it feels like a medieval cave. They have live music every night. Highly recommended.

Very good food and very good prices

The place is very nice and welcoming. We ordered a sliced ​​steak and a 500-gram rib-eye steak: nothing special to say about the meat. However, I was perplexed by the lack of Wi-Fi. Given that the place is below street level, where cell phone reception is nonexistent, I find it absurd that in 2026, customers won't be guaranteed an internet connection.

Returned last night after a couple of decades for a friend's birthday... definitely one of my best experiences in Bologna... Recommended by locals, I found tradition, simplicity, and everything I wanted from a traditional evening... welcoming staff, and it felt like being at home... in short, a quaint, intimate, and personal atmosphere, in keeping with the atmosphere inside. A quaint place in Bologna's historic center, amidst truly historic alleys and porticoes, truly typical, truly Bolognese rather than touristy. The appetizers alone are enough to make dinner... where you rediscover true historical tradition, from the welcome, to the location, and the dishes. Congratulations for preserving everything with the fragrance of the erudite... ❤️
