04/08/2025: I write few reviews, and mostly positive ones. Today, unfortunately, I find myself writing a negative one. The place looks very nice and the service is excellent. The pizzas we ordered weren't what we asked for and, above all, they were incredibly expensive. The bill was more expensive than the pizzas themselves; perhaps they think they're in the center of Forte dei Marmi. The only positive note was the mascarpone.

26/07/2025: I was there last night. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was fantastic, and they were very professional. I'd say they were top-notch. I was really happy with everything and I highly recommend them. One small flaw, in my opinion, is that I would have appreciated a little more hospitality and a few smiles from the staff. They were a little too cold and "serious," but still, their professionalism was impeccable. I appreciate a little more friendliness; feeling comfortable is important, in my humble opinion.

08/09/2025: A historic restaurant in the city center, known for its pizza al taglio (pizza by the slice) served in small squares. A convenient option for a quick bite in the heart of the city, with affordable prices. The quality is good but not exceptional, but it remains a traditional go-to for those who want to try one of Bologna's most famous pizzas. It's ideal for takeout or to enjoy on Via Caprarie, where you can sit down. A local institution (also mentioned by Lucio Dalla) that has guaranteed consistent quality for decades.

I understand their young age and inexperience, but that doesn't excuse their poor manners. Too bad...

24/08/2025: The place is pleasant. My girlfriend and I stopped in on a Saturday evening in August, and since there weren't many people inside, we were seated right away. Since she's a vegetarian, she opted for a vegetarian main course, a dish that cost the same as a burger: €15. (This is the dish: ALL VEG Carrots in three textures (roasted, emulsified with ginger, very raw), tofu marinated in beetroot soy sauce, dried cherry tomatoes, gommasio, and tandoori masala. All served on chickpea hummus.) Result: Me happily munching on my burger while she tucked into baby carrots and two pieces of tofu. The menu boasted a dish that in reality turned out to be a mockery. The dish could have been included among the €5/6 appetizers, but not as a €15 main course, given that it contained literally two squares of tofu, and you expect something substantial from a second course! No bread, no side dish. I ask the waiter if this was a deliberate choice or perhaps the chef had carelessly assembled the dish. Response: "The main ingredient is carrot, and it was conceived as a play on textures." "Would you like something else?" I understand, to a certain extent, the choice to defend one's own culinary philosophy... Final bill: A 33cl bottle of beer, water, cover charge, a burger, and the veggie dish: €22.50 per person. €45 total! Disastrous figures. The biggest reason we felt so bad was the lack of sympathy for our obvious disappointment. A simple "I'm sorry" or a "Would you like a liqueur?" would have been enough. The fact that they pretended nothing was happening and asked us at the cash register, "Was everything okay?", clearly shows their desire to embellish the menu to make as much money as possible. It's a shame, because the place has potential.

19/06/2025: The place is also nice, along with the food that is good, but guys I had a serious burn on my gums because they put HOT rolls on the table. So be careful what you eat because they don't pay attention to the customer! HOT food, not warm but HOT, and you only notice it when you have the food in your mouth. PRICES IN MY OPINION HIGH

18/07/2025: When you book a room at place known for Its food and service, you'd expect to be informed there will be no service at the day you stay. Especially after a 250+ km bicycle ride. . update: they do have information about the service schedule however, it is mentioned in 6 punto characters, so, do read small notes also.

16/07/2025: We had an amazing lunch in Il Murello. Our room was spacious and beautiful and I especially enjoyed the view from the patio. Really friendly staff and delicious breakfast made just for us!

04/05/2025: Welcome to Locanda La Pioppa, between Via Emilia and the West, a few steps from the motorway and the unrivaled craftsmanship of the Truck Driver Monument. An oasis for robust stomachs and tired souls, where time has stopped, probably to have a sambuca. Proudly preserved 90s interiors and zoological-hallucinogenic wallpaper with intellectual raccoons, mystical birds and assorted mammals. Friendly and welcoming staff. We ate well. Super generous dishes, perhaps a little too tasty: 1 plate of Fantasia di Mare scialatielli (and oil), peppered mussels (which are actually Taranto-style mussels), 1 portion of grilled vegetables and 1 bottle of water. Cost: 41.50. An honest amount for a hearty meal and a digestion that will end in a few weeks but the atmosphere is so irresistible that we will be back!

03/06/2025: Here we are, the celiac family. Oh, what can I say? This was a wonderful discovery. The restaurant has a style that's somewhere between modern classic European and a touch of the East. The staff is friendly and competent. The food is exquisite, fresh, and surprising with its combination of colors and flavors. The dishes are tastefully presented, aesthetically pleasing, and also a delight to the eyes. The atmosphere of the restaurant was a bit overwhelming for me due to too much formality, but that's fine; we had a great time anyway. We'll definitely be back. Must try, highly recommended.

31/05/2025: I can't understand how you can propose a restaurant without a vegetarian menu... how can you reduce oriental cuisine to an endless list of insipid dishes all based on meat... is that all??? Really?? Send the chef to school.... Moreover, this policy is truly masochistic because every time there are people in the company who don't want to eat meat, the whole company will go to eat somewhere else.

21/08/2025: We were there with our caravan, close to the motorway but very quiet, great beer garden directly adjacent, simple parking space without sanitary facilities.

11/04/2025: I found myself passing through this area and stopped in this bakery, I purchased some very tasty gnocco greased with cracklings and some various delicacies, I was happy! Wide range of biscuits too, super inviting, I'll come back to try it!

19/03/2025: A bakery with excellent potential, high-quality products, although a bit expensive. Unfortunately, there are two major flaws: some products sometimes sit there for a few days, becoming a bit stale. The younger woman never uses gloves; she gives change while handling dirty money, and then serves it to you, touching everything with her bare hands! Once these issues are resolved, it could become an excellent, first-rate bakery!

12/06/2025: Very nice little place, I spent a pleasant evening sitting at a table outside. I didn't order food so I can't give an opinion about the quality of the food, but I recommend everyone to try the Kwak, excellent beer!

28/06/2025: A pleasant evening in a welcoming atmosphere We went to this pub for a dinner with colleagues and the experience was overall positive. They had us sit outside, in a well-kept space decorated with soft lights that helped create a really nice and relaxing atmosphere. The menu is very extensive, with options for all tastes: from bruschetta to hamburgers, to a wide selection of pizzas. I opted for the house hamburger, which was good but without any particular sparkles — average. A point in its favor is definitely the courtesy of the staff: always smiling, helpful and attentive. They came to ask us several times if everything was okay and if the dishes were to our liking. Overall, a good choice for an informal evening with friends or colleagues, especially if you want to dine outdoors in a pleasant environment.

17/05/2025: We were a table of three people... but why do you bother doing separate accounts? You didn't want to do them and, I repeat, there were only 3 of us. We definitely won't be back for this reason.
