06/09/2025: The atmosphere is small but welcoming. The food is delicious. The service is a little slow, but it's worth the wait.

04/08/2025: The "La Tigre" restaurant has a very welcoming and well-organized dedicated space. The service leaves a little to be desired, very slow and at times even rude. When they came to collect the empty plates, they asked me to leave the cutlery with me, even though it was dirty. The prices are standard for the dishes, but they are very high for drinks and service charges. Furthermore, the microfiltered water is not reasonably priced...much more than bottled water.

20/07/2025: Pizza buonissima. Volevamo trovare un posto fisso settimanale da andarci con i vari gruppi di Persiceto, ma siamo rimasti veramente molto delusi! Personale scocciato per una richiesta lecita. Prezzi altissimi.. una "rossa con verdure" pagata 11.50!! Ma scherziamo??? Chieste spiegazioni e stizziti "i prezzi sono quelli!". Leciti di comportarsi come meglio credono, e di fare i loro prezzi. Ma un cliente va trattato con rispetto, anche perché poi le cose si spargono a macchia d'olio. Infatti purtroppo i gruppi hobbysti nostrani di Persiceto non ci andranno mai alla fine. Dispiace un sacco. Delusione totale.

For the restaurant, in case the manager you posted at the entrance doesn't agree with my review, because he might even deny it. I'm from Bologna, not a tourist passing through. I'd like to clarify. 24/07/2025: A clean and bright place. A wide selection of pastries and coffees. Alcoholic beverages and sandwiches are also available. It has a bathroom. The staff is very friendly, smiling, and knowledgeable. Recommended for a stop in the city center.

27/07/2025: Sono stato a cena in questo ristorante con mia moglie, con l'idea di mangiare pesce e viste le buone recensioni. Abbiamo preso due antipasti, crostini con alici e stracciatella e insalata di mare. In entrambi i casi il pesce era un preparato industriale (chiesto alla cameriera, ha confermato). Abbiamo preso anche una schiacciata, discreta. Dall'impasto direi che potrebbe essere una discreta pizzeria, mentre da evitare per il pesce

Catalan shellfish, booked 3 days in advance: Good, fresh, but a bit lacking in fish and lots of vegetables for my taste. I'll try the mussels Taranto-style: perfect sauce, cooked just right, but... The mussels, totally tasteless 😒 Small place, friendly and fast wait staff. I'll be back anyway; the paella seems worth it... We'll see 🤞

If I could offer a suggestion, I'd suggest disinfecting with suitable products and lighting mosquito coils and citronella candles before guests arrive, so that guests can eat and not be eaten (by mosquitoes).

24/08/2025: We stumbled upon Carlo's by chance: we were in San Giovanni in Persiceto on our way to another pizzeria that we found closed. Initially, I was a little annoyed by the fact that all the seats inside were taken, but then I changed my mind because the noise inside was truly deafening; I would have been irritated. When we ordered, we were informed there would be a 30-35 minute wait, and oh well, we had an aperitif in the meantime. The pizza arrived on time, it was good, and I was able to take the leftovers home. We didn't order dessert because it wasn't big enough. I saw some really tempting fish dishes passing by, and I almost regretted having ordered pizza. We appreciated the professionalism of the staff, especially the "matron." I also appreciated the cleanliness of the restrooms; the space is a bit cramped, but it serves its purpose. I definitely recommend it. Unfortunately, I'm not in the habit of taking pictures of my food, but the pizza was really beautiful and good.
