02/04/2025: We stumbled upon this tavern by chance and it turned out to be a fantastic discovery! We tasted an exceptional wine, accompanied by tasty cicchetti and truly delicious breadsticks with raw ham. The real strong point, however, is the kindness of the staff: very nice waiters, always smiling, who make the environment even more pleasant and youthful. Furthermore, the service was impeccable: they welcomed us immediately, took our orders immediately and had everything arrived in record time. A truly pleasant experience, I absolutely recommend it. We are waiting for you in Catania ☺️

31/03/2025: We managed to squeeze in here after dinner on a busy Friday night. We raised the average age significantly but felt very comfortable among a lovely crowd and with brilliant staff behind the bar. We drank our way through the Valpolicella pyramid - all from Cantina Buglioni and all great quality. We didn't eat but being near the kitchen we saw and photographed a lot of dishes that all looked really good. Will return!

22/03/2025: I have been going to this hotel-restaurant since I was little and although lately I go mainly for the restaurant, the quality has always remained excellent. Tasty and well prepared dishes, with a service that is always kind and welcoming. A place that always maintains high standards and that I highly recommend!

10/04/2025: Excellent dish, one of the best I've had, the service needs to improve a little for foreigners, not everyone speaks English, making communication difficult, the atmosphere is a little familiar, which means that there were only regular customers there that day.

Commovente la scelta di creme senza lattosio: tutti coloro che operano nel settore dovrebbero venire da Gandini a imparare (altro che sorbetti di frutta!). A little slow in the service but perhaps it's an advantage because with such small portions in 3 minutes you could be out of the place. The spritz was watered down. The cutlery is beautiful.

14/04/2025: I ate very well, I took a beef tartare as a starter and their proposal of a fillet as a second course was delicious, however my wife took the octopus with potato cream, which was also very good. The waiter with an abysmal education, always present but never intrusive, prepared and quick, you couldn't ask for anything better. The place is cute

20/04/2025: this was the worst dining experience I've ever had. We arrived and saw multiple free tables on the terrace, but the host refused to seat us there. After asking twice and practically begging to be accommodated, we were finally given a table. Once we were seated, we were completely forgotten. Our table went unattended for at least 20 minutes!!! We didn’t get any menu to check dessert or coffee, and it felt like we were invisible. Save your time and money for somewhere that actually values its customers!

04/03/2025: I have returned to this place several times and I have been able to try both the pizza, the first courses and the second courses. The pizza is light, well leavened and well seasoned (they use sourdough, which is sacred to me for my digestion), the fish is well cooked and the first courses mostly have condiments with very "summer" flavours. The cost is a little high, but it is fair given the view, the quality of the food and the location in Malcesine. Advised!

26/04/2025: Very well-kept place and truly exquisite dishes, family lunch with 3 first courses and two tortelli all'amarone, the house specialty. All dishes with delicate flavors and balanced condiments. Wine, well a guarantee. I had already been for an aperitif some time ago with spritz and cutting board, also in that case nothing to say. Super friendly staff, well done!

28/02/2025: I find myself forced to leave a terrible review for the disconcerting rudeness of the two Albanian waitresses, who, in addition to spending the evening with embarrassing giggles and jokes of dubious value, even allowed themselves to offend us in Albanian, not imagining that a person with me knew the language. In order not to ruin the evening for other customers and other staff members, who unlike them were always kind and helpful, we preferred to leave quickly without complaining directly. Such behavior towards a customer is unacceptable.

It's a shame that they raised prices again compared to two weeks ago (and also compared to 1 year ago), and having thought of offering this pleasant experience to friends we found ourselves paying as if we were at an à la carte restaurant (with the choice of 1 wine of each type).
