We frequent this trattoria often, and it's always top-notch, but last time we noticed a few downsides.
If you eat outside at the tables near the greenery, unfortunately, there's a bad smell, like a landfill. Also, this time the portions were a bit small: the octopus was good but decidedly underwhelming for the price. The desserts were also disappointing: the crème caramel failed, and the strudel wasn't particularly appealing.
Despite this slip-up in portions and desserts, Trattoria Al Ponte remains a guarantee. We'll definitely be back!

Dinner with friends, meat and fish dishes were ordered, all well-received and accompanied by a couple of bottles of Custoza. The only sour note was the lack of politeness among the table, whose rather loud voices kept the other guests from engaging in conversation.
Otherwise, everything was fine; dinner was served outdoors with a light breeze that mitigated the heat of the day.

I had already been there years ago with some work friends, we went back and I have to say that it was very pleasant and fun, simple dishes but everything was excellent, excellent quality/price ratio, for me it's ok

I've been back over time, the first time in 1981...yes, 45 years ago: the son wore shorts, now he has white hair, and his father passed away. The cuisine has maintained its recipes and excellence, indeed, without taking anything away from the past, it seems even improved. I love their octopus, the ossobuco, the artichokes, and the excellent bottled Custoza that they sell in bulk. The prices are far too fair for the raw materials used. It's best to book, perhaps in the morning...now, like then, it sells out. Even on weekdays.
