A fantastic café for breakfast and lunch (with a changing menu throughout the day). Everything is fresh and delicious, with a wide selection and very reasonable prices. You can relax in the charmingly decorated atmosphere and enjoy the Italian delicacies. We'll definitely be back on our next trip. And for German tourists, it's no problem at all; communication in English is perfectly fine.

Bar Cantonucci in Verona is one of those rare places that doesn't stop to offer you a coffee... They give you a moment to recharge. Every time I come in (unfortunately, not very often due to work), I'm met with genuine kindness. The people who work there are always ready, smiling, and present. They have that special ability to make you feel seen, not just served. In particular, the guy with glasses and the tall, dark-haired guy (I don't know their names) display a kindness and professionalism that warms your day. They speak to you naturally, listen, and make you feel at home without even trying. That's the beauty of it: it's not something fake, it's simply their way of being. The coffee is delicious, but the truth is, you come back mostly for the atmosphere... for that feeling of familiarity that envelops you as soon as you enter. The pastries on display are a constant temptation. They're carefully crafted and inviting, even though I haven't tried them yet. Cantonucci is a little everyday refuge. It's a place where kindness is normal, smiles are spontaneous, and time seems to slow down. It's a bar that doesn't just serve food, it makes you feel good! Please never change!
