Ristorante La Cantina In Valeggio sul mincio

The tagliata was good, and the mixed vegetables were really plentiful. The pumpkin ravioli, however, I found a bit too sweet for my taste, so I wouldn't try them again. Overall, though, it's good, and the prices are reasonable.

On a crowded day, waiting for friends, I chose this restaurant because it was the only one with tables available. Prices are average but a bit excessive for the overall quality. There's no signal (a common problem in Borghetto) or WiFi to back up (in 2026?), and we had to get up early to reconnect.

April 18, 2020, we returned for the sea bass, excellent... with that flavorful breading that makes you want it, a side of mixed vegetables, and a taste of tortellini that should never be missed. With water and cover charge, €60. The friendliness and service are always top-notch. I'm attaching a photo. Paolo ___________________________________________ We met Mr. Faccioli by chance, and we chatted with him in the hotel's large courtyard. He's a truly friendly and pleasant person. Shortly afterward, we entered the restaurant from the courtyard. We waited, but no one was there, absolutely no one at all, and after a while, a staff member finally emerged from the kitchen. The restaurant is downstairs, "Cantina" by name and by nature, but Mr. Francesco, the maître d', who we later learned is "the Faccioli brother," made us feel very welcome, as I had some doubts about the location. It seems that the rather large restaurant was built later by excavating beneath the hotel, where a partially unknown cellar was discovered. Between one conversation and another, we were treated to a plate of pumpkin tortelli and a delicious, almost over-abundant tagliatella with porcini mushrooms. Followed by two beautiful sea bass, perfectly grilled, and a delicious vegetable mix. Everything was delicious and well-prepared. A decaf coffee and a taste of Carnival sweets, kindly offered and very welcome, rounded off a rather generous Saturday lunch. Of this experience, I must say that we were warmly welcomed, ate well, were pampered, and paid a very fair €73.20 bill. I recommend it 100% with full marks. Best regards, Paolo & Ombretta

Excellent restaurant. I had the tortellini and they were exceptional. Welcoming and friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

We ended up here by chance – and we didn't regret it! The food was really delicious and the prices were perfectly reasonable.

We booked as a bus tour group and everything was ready when we arrived. The tortellini were delicious, the table beautifully set, and the service friendly and prompt. A fish dish was quickly prepared for the guest with an egg allergy. Absolutely fantastic!

It was recommended to me to try the Luccio. I was not disappointed. It was an absolutely delight . Nice atmosphere, friendly staff , good food. That all you need , that’s all you get here.

Fantastic! We ate very well, the restaurant is very welcoming, the wine list is excellent, even with 325ml bottles, and we spent less than we expected. Highly recommended!!!
