A very welcoming place, with traditional dishes and a touch of creativity. Dreamlike views, attentive service, and kindness. It's nice to return here every now and then.

My husband and I had lunch at Trattoria Campiano and were thrilled. It was a beautiful experience in every way, starting with the breathtaking lake view, which made the atmosphere truly magical. The food was simply excellent: we started with delicious fried rabbit meatballs, followed by an exceptional courtyard ragù. The real highlight was the Juvenca beef, amazing and incredibly tender, which we paired with a wonderful Ripasso Superiore wine, capable of enhancing every flavor. Topping it all off, the service was impeccable: attentive and professional staff made us feel pampered from start to finish. A small restaurant nestled on the Malcesine hill, worth a visit for the beautiful view of Lake Garda. Both indoor and outdoor tables. The limited menu is typical of those who prioritize quality over quantity. Each dish I ordered was worthy of a simple cuisine focused on quality ingredients and seasonality. The wine cellar is well-stocked; since I was the only one drinking, I opted for a glass of red, which unfortunately arrived already filled and not poured at the table. It was also a bit too thin: the wine level was at least half a finger below most of the pours. This is why the overall rating is 4 stars.

Super friendly staff, the location is simply fantastic. And all of this is topped by the food! The menu may seem limited at first glance, but what you get is a pure explosion of flavor. This trattoria is a must-visit for anyone who wants to eat something other than pizza and spaghetti!
