12/04/2026: Walking from Bardolino to Lazise along the lakeside, we stopped for dinner halfway between the two towns, in Cisano. The restaurant offers a seat while you wait, with a glass of aperitif: not many do that... I was craving pizza and chose a crudo, but I could have ordered any dish: the menu offers a lot. The pasta was very good... the ham was perhaps cut too thick. Otherwise, my fellow waiters, like me, were impeccably fast! Fast, attentive, friendly: excellent! A sore point about the bathrooms: they are run down and smelly. You need to take a look in there every now and then: sometimes even the bathroom is part of your calling card.

20/04/2026: Really wanted to like this place based on the reviews, unfortunately it’s one of the worst places I’ve eaten in all of Italy. The pasta was undercooked, not ‘al dente’, overly salty and bland. We ordered different dishes which tasted the same. The carbonara had 5 small pieces of burned guanciale which tasted very bitter. We were given some stale bread, no oil or vinegar to enjoy it with and to top it off they charge €2.40 for tap water. Not recommended.

18/02/2026: We stayed with them for Valentine's Day. The location is beautiful, surrounded by greenery (and snow, in our case, in February). The rooms are new and very nice. The hospitality was top-notch, the breakfast included with the room was delicious and home-made, and the value for money was excellent! We'll definitely try it again in the summer!

12/04/2026: A wonderful discovery….the food is excellent!!!! We found ourselves here by chance, we ordered risotto with Amarone and it was nothing short of sublime….then for the main course the royal spit (if I'm not mistaken) various types of grilled meat served on a spit flambé!!!! This also wonderful as a side dish: baked potatoes and spinach….to drink they recommended a nice bottle of Amarone and I must say they immediately understood what we were looking for……the place is small and welcoming but what makes the difference are the owners, wonderful people….they make you feel at home from the moment you set foot in the place and they pamper you for the entire stay!!!!! If you are in the area you absolutely must stop by….congratulations to the owners, see you as soon as we return to your area

27/12/2025: We visited Mada Cafè yesterday for breakfast and had the best, most authentic meal of our trip. The authenticity of the meal wasn’t just because of how it was homemade, but also because of how genuinely we were received at the restaurant by the chef and owner, Marco. He made us feel at home, and served us our food, no frills or anything. He only speaks Italian, but that doesn’t stop the true warmth that oozes out of his restaurant and food. Thank you for a wonderful meal, Marco! We wish you a happy new year!

12/02/2026: Disappointing lunch break experience. The burger was mediocre, nothing special in terms of quality or taste. What really left me perplexed, however, was having to pay 50 cents for a simple plastic bowl to take away the leftover food, thus avoiding waste. I find it inconsistent to charge for a container when someone is trying to avoid throwing away food, especially during a time when there's so much talk about sustainability and the fight against food waste. A gesture of customer care would have been much more appreciated.

02/04/2026: The atmosphere inside the store was nice, but the attitude of the male staff member was very disappointing. Was it because he was Asian? The female staff member was wonderful; she was kind and showed no discrimination whatsoever. Thank you.

28/03/2026: Since we're often in Verona, we were looking for a good place to have dinner. After countless attempts, we discovered this trattoria. Congratulations to everyone, from the chefs to the restaurant staff. They're all young, professional, and eager to please. I'd love to try their tiramisu, it's beautiful to look at... I hope one day they make it with lactose-free mascarpone... Now, every time we're in Verona, one of our go-to spots is definitely I Masenini.

01/01/2026: In 2025, my husband and I have decided to wait for the New Year for the third consecutive year at the Tregnago restaurant. What can I say? Everything was excellent, from the owner Daniela to her staff, the food, the music, and the entire welcoming atmosphere. Thank you so much for all your hard work in making us feel at home. 28/12/2025: We were here with friends last night and left with smiles on our faces. We ate and drank quality wine and were pampered by the owner's friendliness and professionalism. What can I say? We'll definitely be back!
