01/10/2025: A very simple place, very kind and helpful staff, and quick service. The food was good (we had risotto al tastasale, risotto al pontel di isoli, risotto with frogs, and bogoni with polenta), all very good. Perhaps a little pricey for what we ate. But the quality and the way they prepared the ingredients are second to none.

29/09/2025: Found by chance, this place deserves a detailed review. Meticulous attention to detail and a large room perfect for celebrating baptisms, birthdays, small ceremonies, and business dinners. Suitable for any occasion, it also has a smaller room, and there's even a room for small conferences. Highly recommended. Typical local and national dishes.

Since we had our dog with us, we asked to be seated in a discreet area so as not to disturb other customers; our request was handled promptly and courteously, finding us a quiet spot. Lunch was a true triumph: the food served was of excellent quality and presented with almost obsessive attention to detail. 12/10/2025: A true gem among the hills The restaurant is nestled in a beautiful hilly area, with an intimate and welcoming atmosphere that captivates you from the first moment. The dishes are meticulously prepared with meticulous attention to the quality of the ingredients. And the meat? Simply extraordinary. I don't remember ever tasting meat so tender, flavorful, and well-cooked. A truly unforgettable experience for the palate. My sincere compliments to the entire staff. A place I will definitely return to—and one I recommend without hesitation!

The atmosphere is welcoming, and Gigi and his family immediately make you feel at home, in that genuine and authentic way that is so rare these days. The food is as you'd expect: sincere and delicious, with excellent cured meats and a mixed platter that alone invites you to return. The menu is modest, but there's something for everyone, even vegetarians. Even the other diners become friends in an instant. And so, dinner becomes a moment to remember. 11/10/2025: The place is really cute and super clean, which is already a big plus. The staff is very young and friendly, and the service was impeccable. As for the food, we ordered a bit of everything: an onion and shrimp soup with cheese crostini as an appetizer, two first courses (Scialatielli alla pescatora and Calamarata with amberjack, cherry tomatoes, olives, and anchovy pâté), and a second course (julienned julienne of giant cuttlefish sautéed with onions and a vegetable pearà sauce). With 1 liter of water and 1 liter of wine in a carafe, the bill came to €73.40. Fair, if the quality had been top-notch. And here's where the problem lies... The onion soup was by far the best thing of the evening, even if the portion was a bit small. It's a shame it was the only dish that got top marks. The first courses, unfortunately, weren't up to par. Both the Scialatielli and the Calamarata had that annoying sensation of reheated pasta and, honestly, lacked flavor. The anchovy pâté in the Calamarata was completely undetectable, and the pasta had a slightly bitter aftertaste. The second course, the Cuttlefish Julienne, was a disaster. The cuttlefish was incredibly chewy and, like the pasta, seemed either overcooked or, worse, reheated. A crust had formed that dried out the fish, making it inedible and leaving the same bitter taste on the crust. It's a shame, because the accompanying vegetable pearà wasn't bad at all! In summary? For my taste, it was an absolutely disappointing dinner 👎. I say this with a bit of bitterness because the place has potential, but the dishes served weren't up to par. A heartfelt piece of advice to the chef: taste your dishes and pamper them more! Let's hope it was just a bad night, but for me, at the moment, it's a firm no.

08/10/2025: Very original and tasty dishes, the chef is good at finding new flavors. The peppered mussels are absolutely recommended.

04/10/2025: The food was really good so far. I had a pizza that tasted amazing, but it was too thin and soggy. My wife had spaghetti carbonara, which was also very good. I also had a salad that was fresh and tasty. We'll definitely go back there and I can recommend it to everyone else.

04/10/2025: My pizza rankings have a new number one. Super-light crust, lovely bready flavor. That's what Neapolitan pizza should be. Absolutely to die for. The tiramisu was also amazing. Excellent value for money. We have a new favorite restaurant.

16/10/2025: Small, intimate, friendly, and good: that's what distinguishes this somewhat hidden pizzeria. The portions can be ordered "abbondante" (large), so that, for example, one spaghetti course is enough for a main course. The restaurant, located in the vaulted cellar, is cozy, with the owner in charge of the service and the chef in charge of the kitchen. An absolute recommendation!

08/10/2025: For me, this is the best restaurant in Verona, offering unbeatable value. The €26 menu includes a first and second course, all excellent and traditional dishes. You can also choose just one course for a slightly higher price. The Vicenza-style cod is fabulous. The vegetarian options are limited (they should think about that here...). The staff is super attentive and friendly. The location is quaint and retro. My favorite place in Verona. Highly recommended! Reservations recommended.

10/10/2025: What a fantastic find near Lake Garda! On our last night we were looking for an authentic taste of the region, and you absolutely have to try this restaurant. It's about 20 mins drive from Peschiera. They specialise in tortellini and they were simply superb. Everything was made with obvious care, and you can tell they use fresh, high-quality ingredients. Every bite was bursting with flavor. It was so difficult to choose which tortellini to go for and I especially appreciated that the menu had a TRIO tasting option and you could combine three different flavours of tortellini. It felt like a genuine, local experience, not just a tourist stop. And if they have torta delle rose on the dessert menu, give it a try as well!

15/10/2025: I've known this place for quite some time now, and I happily go there as often as I can with my wife, family, and friends. I've never been disappointed! The atmosphere is very refined, and the welcome and courtesy are superb. The cuisine is distinctive, excellent, and well-prepared. What can I say? If you have the opportunity to visit, stop by—you certainly won't be disappointed.

09/09/2025: Excellent place for a snack. Their charcuterie and cheese board accompanied by onion marmalade is exquisite, and the mortadella and burrata focaccia is delicious and crispy. We entered through the San Zeno gate and stumbled upon this wonderful place. 100% recommended.
