04/08/2025: We've been frequenting this pastry shop for a while, but unfortunately, the same situation repeats itself every time: the counter is almost empty, even early in the morning and on weekends, when one would expect greater availability. The pastries are filled fresh, it's true, but there's no way to choose from a wide variety, which is disappointing for a pastry shop. Considering they're well-versed in customer traffic on peak days, it would be the least they could do to ensure an adequate selection. Furthermore, the prices are quite high for the quality offered, which unfortunately doesn't justify the cost. It's a shame, because there's potential, but the management and organization truly leave much to be desired. -------in response to the owner's response---- Thanks for the response, even though it confirms what I already knew: every time a customer reports a problem, the reaction is always the same—an excuse, an irritated response, and never a true acceptance of responsibility. The point isn't to make a big deal about it, but simply to expect a pastry shop to be adequately stocked, especially during peak periods like weekends. It's not the customer who has to adapt or make reservations; it's the shop that should organize itself based on demand, which it knows well. I've already reported this issue several times to the staff (who aren't responsible for this issue, anyway), but evidently it hasn't helped. A piece of advice: fewer sharp responses, more listening, and more croissants. This is what's expected of those who work in contact with the public. A more appropriate response would have been "we'll try to improve," but evidently it's too difficult to just lower your head for a moment and be more accommodating to your customers. ----in reply to the owner ---- Next time (when he won't be there), I'll book my croissant and cappuccino for next Saturday. The responses confirm what I've already said: he's not suited to contact with the public; he's grasping at straws. He'd be better off changing jobs.

22/06/2025: A little slice of escape from the world. Go in, order a drink and then find one of the many little hideaways that will take you away from the world outside. Good value, friendly staff and chill vibes. Oh and 2 super chill cats! Thanks for the drinks, a core memento of our Italian road trip!

27/09/2025: The dishes lacked any flavor. The octopus salad was bland, with no dressing other than oil. The tomato bruschetta didn't have a hint of garlic.

21/09/2025: We went for an aperitivo and were given chips and olives to nibble on. Inside, there was a rich buffet that we thought was for those having an aperitivo, but we were given the excuse that it was for regulars. In Verona. Full of tourists. What if the regulars aren't there? Do you just throw the food away? Terrible.

19/09/2025: We arrive at the McDrive, and the very pissed-off girl responds to my friend and I in a rather rude manner. I can understand the work-related fatigue, but a little courtesy would be appreciated, especially since the opposite wouldn't be very pleasant... right? We get home and half the order is wrong: the Coke on the menu is missing, the strawberry milkshake turned into a semi-vanilla that tasted rancid, a layer of the thick cheddar (also from the menu) was missing, and all the sauces were missing. Let's point out that we and another car were at the Drive, so I can understand if it were full, but that wasn't the case. On the other hand, they gave us 800 straws; we'll definitely put them to good use!

06/10/2025: Unfortunately, our visit was disappointing. The food wasn't a feast for the palate, and the prices were disproportionate to the quality offered – much of it seemed like frozen food. The service was also unfriendly. One thing is for sure: We won't be eating here again.

29/07/2025: Tucked behind a wine shop in Hotel Veronesi La Torre , Signorvino La Torre opens out into a bright, lively space. The decor is modern yet warm, featuring marble tables, green and rust-toned elements, exposed brick, and industrial-style lighting. The restaurant was at around 60% capacity at 8:30 PM but filled up considerably by 10 PM, mostly with a local crowd, which added to the lively — though at times noisy — atmosphere. Service was friendly but a bit disorganised; we had to wait for cutlery even after the food arrived, slightly delaying the meal. That said, the staff made an effort to create a special moment with a playful relighting candle on the tiramisu. Food & Drink • what was meant to be the Complimentary bread had a 3 euro charge for each person. It was a nice touch, though it would have benefited from butter or oil. • Set Menu (35€) offers great value — two courses and two wines. À la carte options are also available, including a bottle of Amarone for just 34€, a real find. Starters: • Fried Mix Platter: Courgette flowers, stuffed olives, and cheese arancini. Rich, crispy, and satisfying — ideal for sharing. Mains: • Mezze Maniche alla Carbonara with Black Truffle (+4€) Rich, creamy, and deeply flavoured with Romano cheese and truffle flakes. The crispy pork jowl added great texture — a standout dish and excellent value at 17€ total. • Cotoletta Rustica (“Zorzi” style) Thin, crisp, and well-seasoned. Served with roast potatoes — simple but satisfying. Desserts: • Tiramisu was a letdown — the sponge-to-cream ratio was off, lacking the lightness expected. • Sbrisolona Mantovana (crumbly nut biscuit with crème anglaise) was average — pleasant but unremarkable. Verdict: Signorvino La Torre delivers good food at fair prices, especially the pasta and wine. While the service had minor flaws and the desserts underwhelmed, the vibrant ambiance and solid main courses make it a worthwhile stop — especially if you’re a truffle lover or wine enthusiast.

28/06/2025: Signorvino, un bel negozio dove osservare, pensare e assaggiare vino per ogni gusto . Guidata da Vanessa ho scelto alcune bottiglie di Amarone Ca' La Bionda, Lugana Ca'dei Frati, Lugana le Marzaiole e altri. Professionalità e anche buoni prezzi . Grazie

10/05/2025: In visita alla città, all'ora di pranzo cerco su Trip i ristoranti più vicini a dove mi trovo. le recensioni valide sono tante e entro. Il locale è piccolo, i tavoli vicinissimi. le due cameriere sono gentili ed accoglienti. Il menù è da leggere su un tablet e la cameriera tiene un corso d'informatica di 5 minuti. Il locale è semivuoto quindi faceva prima a spiegarmi a voce l'offerta. Noto che l'offerta è molto corposa, quando ci sono così tanti piatti proposti inizio a essere diffidente. Prendiamo due tagliate servite su un unico grande vassoio che alla vista ben si presenta. Meno alla consumazione. le patate al forno d'accompagnamento non sono gradevoli. Il conto in linea con il centro città. Spiace soprattutto per il personale giovane assegnare un voto minimo ma il locale è da lasciar perdere.

10/05/2025: Esperienza molto piacevole, Locale curato e accogliente; personale super, sempre a disposizione del cliente e cucina con scelte giuste (non troppe e né troppo poche) e fatte di qualità. Consiglio moltissimo.

08/09/2025: The restaurant definitely has a great view of the sunset over the lake. We received very friendly service. Unfortunately, my husband's pizza arrived about five minutes before my lasagna, so I had to watch it hungrily. While the lasagna was very tasty, it was only lukewarm in the middle. So there's definitely room for improvement.
