18/11/2025: Outskirts of Verona... Hilly area... A good restaurant with pizza also at lunch... A truly comprehensive workers' menu... Excellent prices

23/09/2025: Attentive and knowledgeable staff, quality food, excellent pizza at reasonable prices. Everyone can eat with peace of mind as they are organized for allergies and food intolerances. They also allowed us to bring a G/F cake from a pastry shop to celebrate a birthday, and we purchased an excellent bottle of local Moscato. Thank you for everything.

10/11/2025: On our way back from Brogo Roma Verona, we stopped for lunch. We had a choice between a set menu, a la carte, or pizza of the day. Excellent food, high quality, and a quiet place, at least for us, who arrived at 12:30. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

17/10/2025: It seemed like a Halloween prank, but instead it was a Sunday dinner I hope to forget as soon as possible. The two of us went around 9:10 PM, the restaurant was empty. I asked for a bottle of Franciacorta (since that wine cellar took up half the wine list), but there wasn't one. The tartare was rancid and unseasoned (I think the meat wasn't fresh). The garnish salad was reminiscent of dishes from the '80s. I ordered a rib-eye steak, but it arrived with a different cut of lower quality, but still priced the same as the previous one and cooked horribly. I'll leave the photo anyway. I asked for a portion of baked potatoes as a side, and five arrived on a cappuccino saucer. The chandeliers were detached from the ceiling, with all the wiring exposed... Final bill: €84 with a glass of wine by the glass, water, a tartare, a rib-eye steak, and a side. I'm sorry, but I can't recommend this restaurant. I hope the restaurant manager takes action to prevent anyone from getting sick.

15/11/2025: Restaurant with a fixed lunch menu starting at €13. The food quality isn't particularly good. The food and ambiance could definitely be improved.

12/11/2025: I've been several times now. The food is quite good, and the full menu costs €13 (first course, second course, side dish buffet, and coffee). The service is friendly and quick.

02/10/2025: Downtown bar with a relaxing corner. Excellent prosecco and appetizers. Great for evenings with friends. Friendly bartenders.

19/06/2025: The Astor caffè bar is a beautiful place and above all the guys are very hospitable and kind and I can recommend everyone to come and visit them and you will not be satisfied and above all you will find a clean and welcoming place. A big hug to the staff.

08/12/2025: We choose this place for an aperitivo: €6 for an Aperol Spritz, and we already expect a minimum level of quality here. The Spritz is served as a spritz, not even a plate of chips. If we hadn't asked for them, they wouldn't have brought us anything. Unthinkable at that price. The worst thing, however, happens even before the Spritz arrives. I see the bartender at the counter making it without Aperol, even though it's clearly indicated on the menu. I let it go, thinking: maybe I'm wrong. But as soon as it arrives and I taste it, I immediately realize it's not Aperol. €6 for a non-Aperol Spritz?! In Verona?! Where even the most run-of-the-mill bar will give you at least two chips! Oh well, I didn't want to be a pain in the ass, so my partner and I drink it anyway. But I'm really not happy about it, and I decide to mention it to the cashier. I asked for confirmation that they were indeed two Aperol Spritzes, and the guy (the same one who had prepared them) immediately replied, "Yes, yes, of course." I told him they didn't taste like Aperol to me, and he, playing dumb, said he had just arrived and that perhaps a colleague had made them incorrectly. Too bad I had seen him prepare them himself. Another joke. And if he really wanted to prove they were Aperols, he would have simply shown me the bottle, which he obviously didn't do, only confirming what had happened. I will never return, and I strongly advise against it for an aperitivo in Verona. Don't be fooled.
