25/10/2025: I stumbled across this place after somewhere else I planned to go was closed. Well, let’s just say I’m glad it was. Delicious food, giant portions, cheap prices and all in a friendly, down-to-earth atmosphere. Skip the pizza I say!

04/10/2025: We wanted to eat away from the hustle and bustle, and the atmosphere here seemed pleasant. We had a pasta dish, which was okay but not worth the price. Especially since they forgot to provide cutlery, so we had to get it ourselves before the food got cold. There were two of us, and the second dish didn't arrive until later. The grilled fish wasn't grilled, but fried. There are far better restaurants around here.

29/08/2025: The pizza wasn't bad, it was excellently made. Despite not having a wood-fired oven, it was cooked really well, with a nice, light dough and good toppings. Very friendly and helpful staff. We ordered takeout as we were staying at a nearby restaurant.

29/07/2025: Tucked behind a wine shop in Hotel Veronesi La Torre , Signorvino La Torre opens out into a bright, lively space. The decor is modern yet warm, featuring marble tables, green and rust-toned elements, exposed brick, and industrial-style lighting. The restaurant was at around 60% capacity at 8:30 PM but filled up considerably by 10 PM, mostly with a local crowd, which added to the lively — though at times noisy — atmosphere. Service was friendly but a bit disorganised; we had to wait for cutlery even after the food arrived, slightly delaying the meal. That said, the staff made an effort to create a special moment with a playful relighting candle on the tiramisu. Food & Drink • what was meant to be the Complimentary bread had a 3 euro charge for each person. It was a nice touch, though it would have benefited from butter or oil. • Set Menu (35€) offers great value — two courses and two wines. À la carte options are also available, including a bottle of Amarone for just 34€, a real find. Starters: • Fried Mix Platter: Courgette flowers, stuffed olives, and cheese arancini. Rich, crispy, and satisfying — ideal for sharing. Mains: • Mezze Maniche alla Carbonara with Black Truffle (+4€) Rich, creamy, and deeply flavoured with Romano cheese and truffle flakes. The crispy pork jowl added great texture — a standout dish and excellent value at 17€ total. • Cotoletta Rustica (“Zorzi” style) Thin, crisp, and well-seasoned. Served with roast potatoes — simple but satisfying. Desserts: • Tiramisu was a letdown — the sponge-to-cream ratio was off, lacking the lightness expected. • Sbrisolona Mantovana (crumbly nut biscuit with crème anglaise) was average — pleasant but unremarkable. Verdict: Signorvino La Torre delivers good food at fair prices, especially the pasta and wine. While the service had minor flaws and the desserts underwhelmed, the vibrant ambiance and solid main courses make it a worthwhile stop — especially if you’re a truffle lover or wine enthusiast.

07/11/2025: Graduation cake. It didn't quite meet my expectations. The writing was painted on a gold background and covered by the leaves of the arrangement, making it impossible to read in some places... I would have chosen a different size and color for the cake. No complaints about the quality of the products. The service was quite friendly.

02/11/2025: EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE.... it's exaggerated to charge 7 euros for a piece of Nadalin with cream and 5 euros for a tea.... there are some excellent pastry shops in the area at more than reasonable prices.... there's a limit to things!!!!

18/08/2025: Homemade food, carefully prepared and well-prepared. Excellent value for money. Very helpful staff. Recommended for lunch or dinner. If you're just passing through, there's also a bar service for a break.

08/08/2025: Terrible place! Avoid! We had booked for Sunday lunch. When we arrived, we politely asked for a table out of the sun, and the owner's daughter responded in an annoyed and rude manner! We were shocked and outraged by such rudeness! Even the owner, instead of apologizing for his daughter, spoke to us in a harsh tone. They must have serious customer relations issues! A disgrace! I'm surprised they're still in business, given their history and the numerous negative reviews, including the poor food.

04/10/2025: The risottos were good, the service excellent, the atmosphere dated, but I honestly liked it. The staff were friendly and courteous. A trio of risottos, wine, water, dessert, and coffee cost €35 per person, which is fair.

01/09/2025: Six of us went for dinner last Saturday for the first time and were VERY SATISFIED: the place is a typical old-fashioned trattoria, immaculately clean and tidy. The owner is simply wonderful at making guests feel at home. And the risottos are an incredible experience. We're already planning to return to try more risottos!

20/05/2025: I am not biased, even though I have known this establishment for 25 years. I was lucky enough to sit and become a good family friend with the owners (Mirko's mother and father). They told me the origin and how the name Sasso was born. Obviously they are providing for the modernization of the rooms floor by floor, but as far as breakfast is concerned: between bekon, scrambled and hard boiled eggs, and so on and so forth. For dinner he has always been a lover and expert of top quality ingredients, great chef another milestone and the kitchen and impeccable dining room assistant, in addition to the excellent wines. I highly recommend it also for the quality/price ratio. May God bless the current management and their work. Hotel Sasso, the best....

28/04/2025: Tortellini that are supposed to be artisanal, but aren't at all and are worse than supermarket brands—much worse, both in terms of dough and filling. The same goes for lasagna and other pasta. Avoid.

18/10/2025: This is an incognito establishment to avoid at all costs. The owner is incredibly rude: he swears loudly in front of customers as if nothing was wrong. There were five of us, three of us having drinks, and yet he started yelling and swearing without the slightest respect. This isn't the first time this has happened, a sign that this isn't an isolated incident, but rather his usual behavior. Disgraceful behavior for someone who runs a business open to the public. I wouldn't recommend this place in every way: rudeness, zero professionalism, and a total lack of respect for customers. NEVER AGAIN.
