02/06/2025: Went there for dinner expecting to have a great burger and fries as “comfort food” was in the name and had good reviews. It is clear that nothing was made fresh. The burger was grey on the outside and pink in the middle indicating it was frozen before cooking. The fries were nothing special and you have to pay about 1 euro each for any sauce you want with them. Even though we were the only other table of customers in the restaurant the young servers disappeared for long stretches of time, no one came and checked on us during our meal and in the end we just walked over to the cashier to ask to pay our bill. Bad quality food, lackluster service and a waste of a meal in Verona.

23/02/2025: Prenotato per la cena con la moglie siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti, ingredienti di qualità, gli hamburger sono molto buoni e di varie facitore , abbondanti, carne cotta a propria scelta, scelta delle birre varia, da consiglio le patatine con il cheddar e bacon, locale accogliente, prezzi giusti ed in linea con il servizio.

04/01/2025: Breakfast? Which breakfast? To make it at 10 we ate what there was, namely shortcrust pastries with a cream full of greasy oily fat. Practically ready-made products. Nothing stops you from seeing ready-made products but please taste what you sell

11/06/2025: Very well-kept place and environment. Professional and courteous service. Good clientele at various times of the day. A pleasant stop for a coffee or a quick lunch or an aperitif. I recommend it.

29/05/2025: clientele made up of drunk middle-aged men at 6pm who kept making inappropriate comments to us young girls making sexual innuendos etc, other crazy people who kept yelling and swearing ruining the calm atmosphere. waitress alone, poor thing, it's understandable that she didn't know what to do either, maybe she was used to it. otherwise everything was ok, just this fact not at all pleasant.

13/06/2025: The worst meal and service ever … The vegetarian lasagne was white, flavourless and inedible. One portion was cold. The food arrived before the wine. The wine they served was not the wine we ordered and the water was fizzy and not plain, as we had requested. The staff seemed to think this was one big joke; our own server whom we excused as having a bad day said she was actually having a great day as she was healthy and had three children!!! Arguably the worst meal we have ever had and the biggest waste of 80 Euros. Don’t bother visiting. They don’t care; they’ll serve you slop and expect you to pay handsomely. Diabolical and laughable.

01/06/2025: Ho cenato e festeggiato il mio anniversario ieri sera con tutta la mia famiglia! Sono rimasta molto soddisfatta sia del servizio ricevuto che del menù… che ho trovato squisito !!! La posizione del ristorante è deliziosa!!!Complimenti 👏❤️

03/06/2025: We should have been suspicious when we entered, when we were surprised that there was room, even though it was Saturday afternoon. In the past, with the old management, the place was always full. Opening the menu, I immediately noticed the very high prices, we ordered a cup of pistachio ice cream for my daughter, a sbrisolona and a tiramisu. I'll just tell you that my daughter who is crazy about pistachio ice cream didn't eat more than two spoonfuls. To leave a child's ice cream means that it must be really bad, in fact I tasted it and it didn't taste of anything. My sbrisolona had a very bad yeast flavor and was tasteless. We left, leaving almost everything. Quality has definitely plummeted compared to when it was part of the Venchi chain

10/05/2025: Our first time in Italy and Garda. The view from the restaurant is outstanding. Watching the sun sink behind the mountains leaving the sky painted in saffron and copper is truly a sight to behold. The setting and the beautifull restoration of this magnificent building set the scene but unfortunately for us that was where the fairytale ended. To say we were treated like second class citizens would be too polite. Yes we are visitors and with poor italian language skills but we tried to converse as best we could. The manager was all to busy looking after the patrons with obvious wealth to spend any time with us apart from looking frustrated that we taking up his time. The waiter although pleasant, unfortunately appeared nervous and out of his depth. The main reason to visit such establishments is for what you would only expect to be exquisite culinary fair. Unfortunately this was not thr case. Well presented but laking in flavour or execution, poor cuts of meat produced a tough texture. The scarcely accompanying vegetables were overcooked and laking any flavour. Dessert was pleasant but nothing really outstanding. For 150Euro I expected something better. I hope we just caught them on a bad night, however if you promote yourself as a fine dinning experience then that's what you should provide. Wealth, status or class should not be a requirement for which to be treated with respect or curtesy. We all pay the same and should be provided with the same service. I am disappointed to be writing this review as the expectation for a memorable evening out weighed the overall experience.

07/06/2025: A place that has remained unchanged, both in the food and in the setting. If you like a slightly spartan place but with good food, this is the right place.

06/03/2025: I would just like to say shame on the meat it was hard as a stone and it was boiled I didn't understand how people even wait to sit down to eat without even knowing what's on the menu of the day, dishes put on the table without even asking, however I wanted to say that I don't understand what people have to eat there besides filth I'm also ashamed of having written a review

12/02/2025: Una experiencia excelente, con buenos amigos que siempre me reciben como en casa. Lo recomiendo al 100% si vuenes a Verona a la tierra del amor, Romeo e Julietta, visitalos te trataran como en casá. Graciass por ser como son autenticos y familiares.

12/06/2025: We were very satisfied here; the staff were very attentive and well-organized. Drinks and food were served very quickly, and the drinks arrived at our table less than two minutes later. We were served bread to start with, and later, a limoncelo on the house with the bill. You pay €2 per person for a coperta, but I think it's okay; the value for money is good. The restaurant is beautifully centrally located; I can definitely recommend it.

11/06/2025: We stopped by chance and it was a stroke of luck, because we ate very well and the price was right. Recommended.

07/04/2025: Pizzeria praticamente in centro a San Rocco, che si situa al di sotto dell'hotel Cristina. La pizza è nella media delle offerte in Lessinia e il personale è veloce e cortese. Tutto il locale è affrescato con dipinti ispirati alle leggende locali con orchi, fate e folletti. I prezzi sono nella media è il locale è molto ampio.

10/05/2025: You have to want pizza bad to make it that bad. Ham and mushrooms. Pasta ok, ham -5, boiled mushrooms, mozzarella and tomato insignificant. Unpleasant sensation. Negative.

09/02/2025: I'm really sorry to leave a negative review. But the hope is that it can help! We've been getting pizza from you for years and every time it's not without fail... like Russian roulette we hope the one arrives with the right dough. The dough is certainly changed often and probably the pizza chef too. What is certain is that pizza is never the same and if at least it were good... unfortunately this is not always the case. This evening also the courgettes boiled instead of grilled, the raw pizza and thin dough... well I'm really sorry, my husband is a creature of habit and we always had it here out of habit. But we will change

22/05/2025: The pasta arrabbiata was simply salty and had nothing to do with tomato sauce. It was also incredibly light, but I can see that for the price. The pizza marinara was €2 more expensive due to the extra 10 onion rings and also had nothing to do with Italian pizza. Dry, not much sauce. When I tried to criticize it, I was laughed at and the waiter simply walked away with the words, "Ah, yes, Italian food." The only thing that worked was the house red wine. It's a shame to call this Italian food.

22/05/2025: It is definitely not a place where you can eat peacefully. Very fast pace. After ordering we get our food in 8-10 minutes. The pizza is OK, a lot of ingredients but nothing special. Pasta carbonara is better. Supposedly no one tells us to leave when we finish the food but the looks of the waiters when we have only an unfinished drink are clear - we have to give up the table to the next one. I don't know how many people they serve here every day but it's definitely hundreds. Plus for the polite service. Minus for the noise, bustle and the crowd. But it's also our fault that we sat down on the most crowded square in Verona.
