Spectacular view High quality and beautiful Malga The cappuccino was strange The ricotta and chocolate cake was just okay. Next time I'll go for lunch and a visit to the farm.

Last day of vacation, tired from the previous days, we treated ourselves to a return carriage ride from La Morea to Malga Bocche, accompanied by our 20-month-old son, who thoroughly enjoyed his first horseback ride. Mauro, a friendly man, accompanied us on the journey, describing the landscape and local curiosities about life, wildlife, and the Pale di San Martino. The journey (just under 5 km from the cable car) is slightly downhill on the outward journey with a few uphill sections, especially the last stretch, while the return journey is almost constant, so I recommend booking the carriage for the return journey if you want to experience it (cost €20 per adult, €15 one-way). After about 25 minutes in the carriage, we arrived at the Malga at 12:00, having reserved a table inside the day before (Saturday for Sunday). There are also tables outside where you can eat that cannot be reserved. Excellent value for money, fast service, and they even had a booster seat for my son, along with a placemat and markers for coloring. Highly recommended is their homemade mountain yogurt, made with pasteurized milk, which my son slurped down, and the unsweetened whipped cream with berries in syrup. The view from the mountain hut is beautiful, but bring a sweatshirt because even in good weather it can get quite windy. There's also an educational farm for children with activities like milking and pony rides, which we didn't do (for children aged 3 and up). Another downside is the restrooms. There's only one restroom for men and one for women, and it's far from the mountain hut, where we had to queue endlessly in the wind; it's not particularly clean.

We had lunch at Malga Bocche on Alpe Lusia and had a truly wonderful time. The service was friendly and welcoming, with kind and helpful staff. The prices are average, and the homemade dishes were truly delicious and authentic. The location is definitely a highlight: a stunning view surrounded by greenery, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a mountain lunch. Recommended!

Lovely place and excellent food. The service needs improvement, especially regarding the payment for extremely long lines. The excellent review is especially about the educational farm. The young woman who runs it is very nice and very capable. Children and adults alike had a great time, encountering a wide variety of carefully selected animals for the experience.
