31/07/2025: I usually try to choose places with a Google rating of 4.5 or higher for dinner because I don't have the time or energy to test the cuisines of touristy places.
We came here because it's on the main square and there was space between the tables on the far side. The drinks were good, the atmosphere was good, and we finally decided to go ahead and order. The food was delicious, fresh, and very flavorful. So, despite the Google ratings, we had a great time and it's great that we ended up staying. Our waiter was also very nice and fast (Falco). We left feeling full.
29/07/2025: We went there as a family, the pizza was very good, the staff very friendly and attentive. The place is perfect with the most beautiful views.

13/05/2026: Stopped by for breakfast on walk up to the Cathedral from the train station. Seating area at the back of the bakery with table service. Warm, friendly, waiter spoke English. Had plain omelette, and omelette with ham and cheese, simple but good. Coffee great.
01/05/2026: The pastry, filled with whipped cream and resembling an éclair, was delicious. The chocolate éclair was mediocre.

28/12/2025: Very disappointing experience
I made a reservation to this restaurant on November. Made it through the site. Automated procedure. They also requested a deposit of 50€ per person. I paid and everything seemed arranged. I also received a confirmation mail.
When I arrived the restaurant was closed. I called and called but nothing. I kept on calling the next days...
I just communicated with a forgotten Automated procedure. No-one checked ever the reservations. None checked the mails, the bank accounts. Pity. Bad experience. Unprofessionals...

16/04/2026: We ordered fish dishes during the Easter holiday week. Half the menu items were unavailable. The little that was available, both for starters and main courses, was all frozen fish cooked poorly: shrimp starters covered in sauce, and fried fish limp and very salty. Even the house white wine was subpar. A completely unremarkable place. Even though it's in a central area of town, it's not recommended.
04/01/2026: Abandon all hope, all you who enter: broken air conditioning and a freezing cold environment in the dead of winter with temperatures near freezing, a malfunctioning exhaust hood, resulting in cooking fumes filling the dining room with unbreathable air, canned beans cooked directly in preserving starch, frozen spinach, and mediocre pici made with pancetta instead of guanciale. The dining room staff is incapable of handling all these issues. Furthermore, all our clothes need to be taken to the dry cleaners. Other customers near us got up and left. An experience to forget.

30/03/2026: I went to eat tonight, and the service was very poor. The waitress never came to the table to ask for anything, and when we pointed out that a dish was missing an ingredient from the menu, she gave us a very rude response. The food quality was mediocre.

06/06/2026: Horrible. It’s difficult to understand how you can make a cafe latte taste so badly. If not enough, the staff treats you badly, very inpatient and they don’t listen. Not service minded at all. Famous tourist trap.

12/10/2025: Found by chance, a bit away from the chaos of the historic center. The pici were excellent, as was the cold cuts platter. We had lunch outside under the portico, a great location.

26/12/2025: The structure, although obsolete, has a truly beautiful location, perhaps one of the best in the whole country... having finished the positive notes, probably the dirtiest structure I have ever had the displeasure of visiting. The neglect, the lack of cleanliness, the poor quality of the breakfast should be avoided.
15/09/2025: Stayed one night, quiet place, excellent cleanliness, great breakfast, and friendly staff. I recommend it 🥂

10/10/2025: Leaving a cocktail in the glass? Never done that! Worst I've ever had in my life! I don't know if it's under new management, but I'll definitely never go again! 9 euros for something undrinkable, 2 chips, and 2 stale croutons...
08/10/2025: Spectacular view, mandatory drinking on the covered terrace, otherwise a plastic cup. A glass of Vernaccia costs €8...wow...and the staff isn't cheerful.

27/10/2025: They overcharged us for the pizza. The pizza was not that good. They brought 2 pieces of stale bread to the table in a basket. We didn’t order it. We dipped the bread in oil that was also on the table with vinegar that was there when we sat down. We got charged for putting oil on the bread. They called it antipasto and charged 5 euro. We paid it but felt scammed. It is a scam and they knew it. The bread would not have been edible without the oil. The guy at the cash is aggressive and rude. I wish I had read reviews for this place before going.
26/10/2025: Not the best experience, the man on the bar was super kind and welcoming, but we were waiting for a pizza and risotto for about 50 mins, and finally we got tired and confused, and than we checked the feedback and realized our mistake, if you value your time, just be careful, they just explain all that it is too much people,🙂 the food is good but in Italy as average. If you have no rush you may try, especially the second floor space

The dessert came straight from the freezer.
The food wasn't very expensive, which was a plus.
