09/03/2026: We ate here because it was convenient and right across from where we were staying and we were very pleasantly surprised since some of the reviews are not good. The pizza was delicious. (It definitely wasn't frozen like some of the other reviews say. We could see her making it.) The salad was a tasty work of art, house wine was excellent , and the woman serving us was very friendly. She was the only one there so we did have to wait a little bit but it wasn't too long and we had a delicious carafe of wine to enjoy while we were waiting.

16/02/2026: We took the platter for two people, the cured meats seemed frozen and full of fat, almost inedible.

09/03/2026: Rude, terrible food and very long waiting times

08/03/2026: The graduation dinner, which was supposed to be a special occasion, turned into an experience to forget. Let's start with the appetizers: crostini with a combination that to call questionable would be an understatement: tomato, hot dog, and anchovies. A combination so absurd that it left everyone perplexed: who would ever think of putting anchovies and hot dogs together? To make matters worse, the bruschetta bread was simply inedible, hard as a rock yet rubbery at the same time, a truly inexplicable texture. After the appetizers, an interminable wait began: the first courses arrived at 10:15 PM, a full two hours later. By then, my appetite had been replaced by frustration. The picio cacio e pepe, which should be a simple but balanced dish, was actually just "pepper": there was no trace of the cheese; it had probably been forgotten in the kitchen. The next course, pasta with pesto, tasted precooked: both hard and mushy, a consistency typical of poorly reheated pasta. The drinks didn't save the evening either: the Hugo Spritz seemed completely devoid of wine, transformed into a sweetish molasses more akin to syrup than a cocktail. The finale was a Sacher torte, which should have ended the dinner on a high note. Unfortunately, this too was a total disappointment: two thick layers of extremely sweet jam made the cake cloying and practically inedible. In short, what was supposed to be a graduation party turned into a frustrating experience in almost every way: exorbitant wait times, poorly executed dishes, and questionable pairings. It's hard to imagine returning.

05/03/2026: Unreliable and unprofessional. Avoid. I booked this hotel months ago for a trail race weekend. Now, just two weeks before my stay, they have cancelled my reservation with no explanation and no alternative. My entire trip is already paid for—flights, race entry, and transport. Because of the race, everything in the area is now fully booked. They have left me stranded and ruined my plans. You cannot trust this hotel. They clearly don't care about their customers. Do not book here if you actually need a place to stay.

31/10/2025: Hidden gem of a winery! You eat at shared tables, and it has an authentic feel. Prices are super reasonable - highly recommend trying the truffle bread as a snack. We also ended up purchasing some bottles of wine (€5) and olive oil (€14) to bring back home, which were delicious.

30/10/2025: The Italian aperitivo, just as we imagine it and love it! A passionate person, simple and delicious products, no fuss and all in a friendly atmosphere!

10/01/2026: Fantastic place. We went twice during our 1-week stay in Siena. The products offered, both food and drinks, are local only and of exceptional quality. Everything is very tasty and beautifully presented. The owners are very, very kind and offer helpful advice and explanations for those who are not familiar with the local cuisine. We had great time and my husband, myself and our dog really enjoyed the place, the food and the warm, welcoming service. Thank you for your hospitality.

02/01/2026: Truly a wonderful trattoria! Antico Tagliere is a warm and welcoming osteria, where you immediately feel at home. The owners are extremely kind, helpful, and attentive. The food is excellent, high-quality, and carefully prepared. A truly positive experience, highly recommended!

12/07/2025: There was no welcome greeting, waited a few minutes and waved a few times to get attention. We had ice cream and beers here. Ice cream price: small cup with 3 flavours is €8, 4 flavours is €10. Beer 400ml is €7.6.

09/11/2025: We stopped in with friends one evening after the spa. What a wonderful discovery: excellent pizza, good draft beer, fair prices, friendly staff, and a clean, quiet atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

01/10/2025: After waiting for 1 hour!!! I got 2 pizza s with a burned black crost. Ans on top of that, crazy prices. I asked to put on extra capers, anchovis and onions on my pizza tonno and suddenly had to pay 16 euros instead of around 10 euros. Rip off. If you want a good pizzeria in the neighbourhood, go to Il Leccia in Asciano. Marco is a good host and they make great good food for an honest price.

29/11/2025: ⸻ The owner and his son are very helpful, kind, and friendly, and their commitment is evident. We returned after about 7–8 years of operating under the previous management, with fond memories of the past experience. We noticed some differences compared to then, especially in the attention to detail and the quality of the raw materials. This isn't a criticism, but a constructive suggestion: investing even more in quality could further enhance an already welcoming and worthy business.

25/09/2025: We were a couple and ordered 3 dishes. I can't say that any of the dishes were good either in terms of taste, size of the dish or price. The only bright spot in the place is the good staff. We wouldn't go back to the restaurant again

15/07/2025: Our visit to this restaurant was unfortunately very disappointing. Even the first waiter spoke neither Italian nor English, which made communication difficult. He was also unkempt and smelled strongly of sweat, as were the other waiters on duty. We ordered four tomatoes with buffalo mozzarella. After more than 40 minutes, the waiter informed us that there wasn't enough mozzarella. No alternative was offered; instead, smaller portions were served. Although I mentioned from the beginning that I was pregnant, I received pasta with raw shrimp as my main course. After I complained, the dish was brought back slightly overcooked, but it was still inedible. When I asked for the menu again, I was told the kitchen was closed. The waiter suggested reheating the same pasta – which I declined. Only after a discussion with my husband did I finally receive a small portion of fries. The other guests' entrecôte was also edible, but disappointing in taste. Overall, the evening was characterized by chaotic service, a lack of communication, and poorly prepared food. Unfortunately, the reviews on Google and TripAdvisor no longer reflect reality. We won't be back.

25/01/2026: Old fashioned tavern, homemade pasta, everything very good, generous portions, good family restaurant, but very very good, nice place, we were 12 people for dinner, we were satisfied, thanks to the next one

10/12/2025: An unpretentious osteria serving traditional Tuscan dishes, such as pici with wild boar ragù, liver, and rabbit in Brunello wine. A homey atmosphere and friendly, welcoming staff. The house wine and homemade tart were very good (it reminded me so much of the one my grandmother used to make when I was little!!!). Good value for money.
