05/05/2026: The hotel is rated 4 stars, but I think it barely deserves 2. Cleanliness leaves much to be desired: the silicone in the bathtub was dirty and neglected. There's not even a refrigerator in the room, and incredibly, there's none throughout the hotel. The foam beds with a sheet on top are just plain old. The common areas are practically nonexistent: there are no places to sit and chat, forcing guests to stay outside, surrounded by pollen and mosquitoes. The location is inconvenient, on a main road, with no shuttle service or taxi service. If it hadn't been for the kindness of the staff from another hotel who accompanied us, we would have been left stranded there without even being able to eat. The breakfast was disappointing, especially the savory portion: cold eggs left in a bowl, unappetizing. Overall a negative experience and far from the standards of a true 4-star hotel. The only positive note was the kindness of the staff.

02/05/2026: We were here as part of a trip. Personally, I wouldn't choose a hotel with such a rating. Anyway, the number of stars on Google is acceptable. The rooms would definitely deserve better cleaning. There is one large sheet to cover yourself and warm blankets in the closet. So that no one is unpleasantly surprised. Breakfast is weak. From pastries, only toasted bread and a little something on it (ham, cheese, processed cheese and classic small butter) Plenty of sweets and yogurts, which was nice. A short distance from the hotel is a market, Lidl and McDonald's. It's definitely not the four stars that the hotel has in its name. But for undemanding people it's fine.

15/12/2025: Absolutely amazing... service was way better than any other place. Gelato was the best we have ever had. He pushed it all the way down the cone and presentation was 10 out of 10. Other reviews are really harsh... we didn't mind paying a little more for the experience. 😍

13/12/2025: So many wonderful choices! I ended up with a lemon sorbet in a cone. Lovely citrus flavour. The gentleman that served me was both friendly and very polite.

28/09/2025: It used to be my go-to restaurant, thanks to its proximity to the bus parking lot and the consistently good food I'd eat. Now, after my last visit, I'd say I'll move on. It's a shame because it WAS a good restaurant.

02/09/2025: Il Portico...should be closed I had a terrible experience, trusting previous reviews. The place is shabby, sloppy, and dirty, with poor lighting at night. The service is poor and inattentive. The food is absolutely below standard.

10/06/2026: Terrible service from the waiters, rude and unhelpful. The food was quite bad. Not recommended at all.

08/06/2026: I ordered a steak with fresh truffles. Unfortunately, the truffles were dry and crunchy. I was disappointed, especially given the price, which was quite high—32€ for a small steak. I also ordered a risotto; initially, it appeared quite mushy, but it was acceptable. Additionally, bread was served to our table, and we were billed for it despite not ordering it. Overall, the food was satisfactory, but the prices seemed inflated.

02/10/2025: ...I stopped here!!...at Autogrill Drove Ovest!!...for a short break on my way to Grosseto!!...really small facility!!...and unfortunately with only one bathroom!!...so with a bus that stops here!!...the wait to go to the bathroom is truly endless!!...if I were a man I would have taken advantage of the plants that are found nearby!!...but for a woman that is not the case!!...anyway!!...I made it!!...after the bathroom!!...I had a coffee!!...what can I say, it was really good!!...here at Autogrill Drove Ovest!!...

17/12/2025: A truly awful hotel; sleeping in a military barracks is probably better. The rooms are like Pandora's boxes. You walk in and they seem clean, then you look under the bed and there are four inches of dust, just as much dust behind the TV and on the bedside tables. In the bathroom, there were hairs on the sink, mold was everywhere in the bathroom and on the shower door, and you had to climb to get to the shower head, which was almost 3 meters high. Housekeeping is terrible; the towels left on the floor to be changed were simply picked up, folded, and put back in their place—horrific. Breakfast was stale, with the same cakes that had been there for days. The only positive note was the kindness and politeness of the young man at reception. This hotel should be closed.
