Unfortunately the staff is not very friendly in my opinion, in the evening it is very popular because of the aperitifs it also has a space outside where you can sit... the people, in my opinion, who frequent the place, unfortunately they are not very recommendable..

28/04/2025: In un weekend con il mio compagno ho avuto la sfortuna di imbattermi in questo locale, ma la grande fortuna di andarmene 5 minuti dopo. Io sono celiaca per cui tendo sempre ad accertarmi subito che abbiano delle soluzioni senza glutine tra le varie proposte del menu. In questo caso non ho potuto informarmi prima perché la sosta in questo locale non era programmata (le altre osterie di Siena erano sovraffollate). In questo caso, alla richiesta di pietanze senza glutine, oltre al fatto che il personale non fosse a conoscenza del significato di “senza glutine” mi è stato risposto che non potevo mangiare assolutamente nulla di tutto ciò che c’era nel menù (compresi salumi e carne alla griglia) in quanto tutto contenente farina. Al che non ho avuto altra soluzione che alzarmi uscendo dal locale. Non hanno saputo spiegarmi come tutta la carne alla griglia potesse contenere farina. Leggendo altre recensioni, in cui sembra che si utilizzino cibo precotti, ho cercato di darmi un perché da sola. Con questo ringrazio di essere celiaca, in questo caso anche per il mio compagno che non lo è, perché abbiamo evitato un eventuale forte malessere. Celiaci state alla larga.

02/06/2025: The food was touristy and poor quality. There were four of us: the others ordered a pasta dish that was supposed to be typical, pici with wild boar ragù and Tuscan ragù. The sauces were watered down and the pici were rubbery, clearly not homemade. I had the cheek with mashed potatoes, which was very poorly done: the meat was undercooked and the mashed potatoes, instant of course, were very salty, full of lumps and tasted only of cheese.

20/03/2025: The food is really good and cheap, the managers are very kind. We had a good time, the place is also clean and spacious (a bit old fashioned). Already been on several occasions.

26/04/2025: Waren alles Gäste des Hotels zweimal dort und wurden jedes Mal enttäuscht. Das Essen ist Durchschnitt, mehr nicht, die Preise dafür unverschämt und auch der Service mangelhaft. Den Vino Nobile wollte man uns in Weißweingläsern einschenken und der Wein wurde zudem viel zu warm gelagert. Gestört hat uns auch die viel zu laute Musikbeschallung im Restaurant. Im angrenzenden Ort gibt es Trattorien, die wesentlich besser sind als dieses Lokal.

04/04/2025: Bel locale comodamente raggiungibile anche dall'autostrada. Molto buoni i primi della tradizione toscana, tagliata tenera e cotta al punto giusto. Conto leggermente salato ma che rispecchia la qualità delle portate.

25/12/2024: È un posto informale ma con una pizza meravigliosa. D'estate c'è una bella terrazza. Puoi fare anche solo un aperitivo con ottimi vini.

19/06/2025: My wife enjoyed our lunch here. The food (Pizza & Lasagna) was delicious. great views of the piazza and some fun people watching. Service was good, we had a bit of a language barrier, but hey, they live here, I do not. even with the language issue, the service we received was good, welcoming & attentive. I thought the prices were reasonable. The atmosphere was nice, with the italian music to enjoy. just a good, clean restaurant. No complaints from us. I would and have recommended it to others visiting the area.

15/06/2025: If you're a tourist, they won't serve you the same way as an Italian. The waiters look down on you. You're bothering them... And the part with the fans isn't for tourists. The tomato sauce in the dishes reminded me strongly of canned tomato sauce, and the carbonara pasta had very little flavor. In short, if you're a tourist, go elsewhere.
