25/01/2025: Oramai è una tappa obbligata quando veniamo alle terme. Ottima cucina casalinga buono anche il servizio. Abbiamo mangiato i classici pici all’aglione, anatra e trippa tutto favoloso, come i dolci. Da consigliare

01/01/2025: Ho prenotato in questo locale per la cena del 30 dicembre perché credevo di mangiare in un hosteria con cucina casareccia..mesi prima per prenotare poiché il proprietario è un uomo molto particolare e nn prendeva la prenotazione..cmq La cena è iniziata con degli antipasti che era meglio evitare 5 bruschette così le chiamano ma in realtà sn 5 pezzi di pane morbido con delle salse orribili. Il secondo cinghiale in umido cucinato discretamente accompagnato da fagiolini con pomodoro per la modica cifra di 30 euro a persona!! La signora che serve ai tavoli e scortese . Dopo questa esperienza negativa non ci ritornerò mai più!

16/03/2025: The food is not bad, but the service really bad. We had a reservation time, and having had an unexpected event, out of fairness we called to warn them that we would be 15 minutes late, they responded in an annoyed and unprofessional manner, making us understand that we had to move. When we arrive at the restaurant, we don't even have time to sit down before the waiter comes to ask us for our order and we tell him to give us a chance to look at the menu. We ordered almost all second courses and we weren't even asked what type of cooking we wanted, it was all a constant rush on everything, which made our stay in the restaurant not very pleasant.

23/02/2025: Abbiamo preso un Antipasto, i primi e un secondo… tutto buono! Servizio non velocissimo e costo un po’ caro però abbiamo mangiato molto bene e il cibo era di qualità.

25/04/2025: Painful experience, we stopped for breakfast, 09.00 sandwiches not possible because she was alone, I ask for a vegan croissant and he throws it to the ground, we ask for a coffee and a cappuccino, result cold coffee, cold cappuccino, worse than a laxative, we pay and he throws the rest on the ground. But a place renowned like this, by who is it managed and who trains employees?!!! Result horrible breakfast, indecent service!!!!

02/04/2025: Village immersed in the countryside between hills and fields, offers restaurant service. The swimming pool has a view of the countryside. There is a 3 km dirt road to reach the village but it is very doable, wide and quite well maintained. Very kind staff. I recommend

02/04/2025: The journey to Borgo Sant'Ambrogio is a bit of an adventure. You have to drive along a roughly 4 km long gravel road with many, sometimes deep, potholes. Once you arrive at the hotel, you're treated to a fantastic view. The rooms are nice and clean – everything is as you can see in the pictures. The grounds offer many opportunities to spend time outdoors (especially when it's nice and warm). We were somewhat disappointed with the staff. We weren't given a very warm welcome, rather cold. There were also many little things that shouldn't be present in a hotel of this rating. For example, we didn't have any toilet paper in the room, and when we went to ask, the staff were visibly annoyed at having to go with us to the storage cupboard. There were also half-finished bottles of drinks in the refrigerator. At our second dinner in the hotel restaurant, we were informed that several dishes on the menu were unavailable – about half of them. That was a real shame. The tiramisu for dessert was delicious :) We asked for a table by the window that evening, which they promised. However, when we arrived at the restaurant that evening, we were told that the owners would be sitting by the windows, and we'd have to settle for another table. We found that a bit of a shame. The points described here are all minor, but for a resort of this rating, they're a bit of a negative.

14/03/2025: Mahh..... speravo in meglio. Nulla di che, una pizza che non ha scaldato gli animi e non si farà certo ricordare. Il locale è abbastanza triste e buio. I titolari sono simpatici e disponibili

09/03/2025: Siamo stati benissimo, oltre ad aver mangiato molto bene, siamo stati anche in una bella atmosfera raccolta e casalina. I piatti sono uno meglio dell'altro, porzioni abbondanti e prezzo buono. Al prossimo giro a Siena torniamo a trovarvi! Saluti da Mantova 🤗

06/03/2025: Posizione strategica sulla massetana romana. I proprierari sono super gentili e il servizio dalla colazione al pranzo impeccabile! Proprio oggi ho fatto colazione al barrino con un'ottimo cornetto vegano farcito all'arancia e cappuccino senza lattosio. Soddisfatta della colazione ho deciso di ritornare per pranzo e ho mangiato un piatto di paccheri alla norcina....squisiti!!! Servizio veloce, pulito e col sorriso, proprio quello che mi ci voleva oggi per affrontare la giornata! Grazie a Lucia e Massimo. Top 10 e lode!

07/12/2024: Nice place, clean and quiet, but poor service. I ordered fried anchovies with tartar sauce and I received anchovies in oil with a bit of salad. We took 3 starters, 1 first course and a mixed grill for a minimum of 2 people for 20 euros which in the end according to their reasoning became 2... 2 coffees, a half liter of wine and sparkling water to say why it wasn't... we spent 105 euros . I have to say that in my opinion it's too much. Price quality non-existent. I will never come to this restaurant again

24/03/2025: Buena atención, muy buena comida, platos de calidad y con la impronta del lugar. Vinos de la región a precio accesible. A mejorar, la atención al cliente, algo dispersa y bastante relajada.

25/02/2025: Local en plena vía principal , como casi todo lo veíamos muy turístico pues decidimos parar aquí…..un poco más caro que la media pero la verdad que estaba muy rico lo que probábamos. Un estofado de ternera con pimienta, y unos tagiatelle con carne de jabalí, el vino bueno

14/04/2025: This restaurant is the worse experience ever that I had in Italy, the food is ok, but super expensive! The staff there are rude and arrogant! So I will never come again and definitely not recommend!

08/10/2024: Siamo stati domenica 6 ottobre in questa osteria che benché sia un po' datata offre una splendida vista sulle Crete senesi. Il personale è gentilissimo e i prezzi veramente molto onesti. Forse non c è molta scelta ma trattandosi di un osteria credo che sia prevedibile. Noi siamo stati veramente bene e i tempi di attesa non sono stati neanche lunghi. Lo consiglio.
