22/07/2026: NANNINI "POSTA" (Siena, Piazza Matteotti) THINKS IT'S IN ST. MARK'S SQUARE IN VENICE. Sunday, July 19, 2026. I stop in the heat at 11:45. I drink a glass of grapefruit juice, eat a focaccia, and eat three dry biscuits.
Final surprise: the bill: €15.20. I've never paid so much in my life, and yet I'm always on the go!
1) How can a glass of juice cost 5.5*1936.27=10,650 old lire?
2) How can a single dry biscuit cost 1.2*1936.27=2,325 old lire?
Even if we were to think in euros, the price wouldn't change.
And then the staff was also a bit unfriendly, even cold, I'd say.
The golden rule when serving customers is to make them feel welcome and convey a modicum of empathy, especially when, as in my case, there was only one other customer at the counter.
I advise against frequenting this bar, or, alternatively, ask/check the prices first.
You certainly won't starve in Siena, even if you go to the competition.

26/12/2025: The structure, although obsolete, has a truly beautiful location, perhaps one of the best in the whole country... having finished the positive notes, probably the dirtiest structure I have ever had the displeasure of visiting. The neglect, the lack of cleanliness, the poor quality of the breakfast should be avoided.
15/09/2025: Stayed one night, quiet place, excellent cleanliness, great breakfast, and friendly staff. I recommend it 🥂

16/04/2026: We ordered fish dishes during the Easter holiday week. Half the menu items were unavailable. The little that was available, both for starters and main courses, was all frozen fish cooked poorly: shrimp starters covered in sauce, and fried fish limp and very salty. Even the house white wine was subpar. A completely unremarkable place. Even though it's in a central area of town, it's not recommended.
04/01/2026: Abandon all hope, all you who enter: broken air conditioning and a freezing cold environment in the dead of winter with temperatures near freezing, a malfunctioning exhaust hood, resulting in cooking fumes filling the dining room with unbreathable air, canned beans cooked directly in preserving starch, frozen spinach, and mediocre pici made with pancetta instead of guanciale. The dining room staff is incapable of handling all these issues. Furthermore, all our clothes need to be taken to the dry cleaners. Other customers near us got up and left. An experience to forget.

13/08/2026: As other users have already reported: prices are much higher at the table. Two cappuccinos and two croissants cost €11. This isn't St. Mark's Square in Venice. Contrary to the manager's response to a similar complaint from another user a year ago, the prices aren't listed at the table. However, out of two croissants with jam that the waiter took, one was empty. The cappuccinos were quite good, but half were just foam. The usual "copy and paste" response will follow, because we're just tourists passing through. On to the next one...

19/08/2026: I had dinner here yesterday and spent about €50 on an unsatisfactory meal. I had a crostini with pecorino and prosciutto. The bread was cut too thick and large, the prosciutto was limited to just two slices, and the pecorino was barely noticeable. In an area where the food is excellent, I wouldn't recommend this place.
29/06/2026: I was passing by and passed in front of this place, I was very hot, I needed water because it was too hot with 40 degrees outside, when I asked I was told that they didn't sell water sending me to the bar, I as a shopkeeper am ashamed to be in this category because of this woman, shame on you!!!

15/12/2025: Absolutely amazing... service was way better than any other place. Gelato was the best we have ever had. He pushed it all the way down the cone and presentation was 10 out of 10. Other reviews are really harsh... we didn't mind paying a little more for the experience. 😍
13/12/2025: So many wonderful choices! I ended up with a lemon sorbet in a cone. Lovely citrus flavour. The gentleman that served me was both friendly and very polite.

03/07/2026: It's now called Guido Restaurant, or so it says on the sign. The worst place I visited on my trip to Tuscany.
02/07/2026: I am deeply disappointed and disgusted by the experience my boyfriend and I had at Caffè del Corso today around 22:00 - 22:40.
While we were sitting upstairs on the terrace (facing towards Sephora), a group of three men accompanied by two women continuously and aggressively stared at me, making me feel extremely uncomfortable and harassed. The situation was so unbearable that we were forced to leave without even finishing our meal and drinks!
What makes this experience even worse is the complete lack of professionalism and empathy from the staff. I complained to the tall waiter working at the time, expecting him to intervene or warn the group. Instead, he completely dismissed my concerns and told me 'it was normal'!?!?!?!? He claimed they were just watching the match, which was completely false. The screen showing the match was in the opposite direction, and we were the only couple sitting in that specific area.
A business should guarantee a safe and respectful environment for its customers. Instead, your staff chose to normalize harassment and protect the perpetrators rather than supporting a customer in distress. We will never step foot in this place again, and I highly advise everyone—especially women—to avoid this establishment if they value their safety and peace of mind!!!

10/08/2026: Beautiful location, tidy and polite staff but the food quality and price are really inappropriate. The quality of the food is really awful and the prices are very high. I would define this place as a tourist trap and that's it.
03/08/2026: A very good restaurant. I had a very original burger with sun-dried tomatoes and caramelized onions, and the others ordered the "Pici" pasta (a local specialty). Overall, we had a good experience.
However, the restrooms weren't very clean. Give it a try and form your own opinion.

02/05/2026: It's unusual to say you'll be able to deliver at a certain time (I called as soon as the pizzeria opened to order!) and then be an hour late. Or maybe even longer, who knows, we're still waiting!
23/03/2026: Congratulations, Augusto, on your business! Family dinner in a very welcoming dining room, excellent pizza, and delicious fried food! I highly recommend it! Excellent value for money!

02/10/2025: ...I stopped here!!...at Autogrill Drove Ovest!!...for a short break on my way to Grosseto!!...really small facility!!...and unfortunately with only one bathroom!!...so with a bus that stops here!!...the wait to go to the bathroom is truly endless!!...if I were a man I would have taken advantage of the plants that are found nearby!!...but for a woman that is not the case!!...anyway!!...I made it!!...after the bathroom!!...I had a coffee!!...what can I say, it was really good!!...here at Autogrill Drove Ovest!!...
