21/10/2025: We have been in the cafe and spent some money there, and wanted to walk around a bit before we leave. They asked us to move the car from their customers parking to a paid one, even though their parking was totally empty. Petty and inhospitable

07/11/2025: We had dinner with a small group of six friends. We ordered first courses and steak with side dishes. The first courses with ragù were very good, although the portions were perhaps a little on the small side. Unfortunately, the meat was sinewy and not particularly flavorful, and served on a hot stone cutting board. This makes a big impression on a foreign tourist who's never seen a steak, but it's obviously a terrible idea for the meat, which continues to cook and turns into a sole in no time... The downside? The vegetable side dish, with three puny slices of zucchini and eggplant, was decidedly overpriced. The service was quite slow.

02/07/2025: Since I was a child I used to go there for a snack. Now despite the change of generations, they are good especially the pastry chef who is bringing a bit of innovation to the products. But the typical puff pastry pizzas are still there! The place however has remained the same, maybe a refresh wouldn't hurt Anyway ceccherini Top!

11/10/2025: We booked spontaneously the night before and were welcomed with open arms. The location is amazing, right in the middle of the vineyards. The view is fantastic; both the sunset and sunrise are spectacular. The restaurant and breakfast were also excellent.

09/07/2025: Siamo stati sabato 4/07 all’osteria. Abbiamo preso un tagliere di salumi, un piatto di Pici a testa e un quartino del vino della casa. Prodotti di ottima qualità. Cameriere, che nonostante le difficoltà per il caldo e perché fosse da solo, è sempre rimasto attivo e con il sorriso. Sono stati davvero gentilissimi. Ottima esperienza, consiglio vivamente!

28/04/2025: In un weekend con il mio compagno ho avuto la sfortuna di imbattermi in questo locale, ma la grande fortuna di andarmene 5 minuti dopo. Io sono celiaca per cui tendo sempre ad accertarmi subito che abbiano delle soluzioni senza glutine tra le varie proposte del menu. In questo caso non ho potuto informarmi prima perché la sosta in questo locale non era programmata (le altre osterie di Siena erano sovraffollate). In questo caso, alla richiesta di pietanze senza glutine, oltre al fatto che il personale non fosse a conoscenza del significato di “senza glutine” mi è stato risposto che non potevo mangiare assolutamente nulla di tutto ciò che c’era nel menù (compresi salumi e carne alla griglia) in quanto tutto contenente farina. Al che non ho avuto altra soluzione che alzarmi uscendo dal locale. Non hanno saputo spiegarmi come tutta la carne alla griglia potesse contenere farina. Leggendo altre recensioni, in cui sembra che si utilizzino cibo precotti, ho cercato di darmi un perché da sola. Con questo ringrazio di essere celiaca, in questo caso anche per il mio compagno che non lo è, perché abbiamo evitato un eventuale forte malessere. Celiaci state alla larga.

09/11/2025: We stopped in with friends one evening after the spa. What a wonderful discovery: excellent pizza, good draft beer, fair prices, friendly staff, and a clean, quiet atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

01/10/2025: After waiting for 1 hour!!! I got 2 pizza s with a burned black crost. Ans on top of that, crazy prices. I asked to put on extra capers, anchovis and onions on my pizza tonno and suddenly had to pay 16 euros instead of around 10 euros. Rip off. If you want a good pizzeria in the neighbourhood, go to Il Leccia in Asciano. Marco is a good host and they make great good food for an honest price.

27/11/2025: One of the best meals we have in Italy.... My son had lasagne, I had cacio de pepe and my husband had a salad with thin sliced meat but not carpacio.... They were all delicious and good pricing! Hope to visit and eat there again one day.

25/11/2025: I had a cappuccino and a mochaccino. The cappuccino was a bit weaker than the others because it was larger, but it was still delicious. The mochaccino was really sweet and delicious.
