26/12/2025: The structure, although obsolete, has a truly beautiful location, perhaps one of the best in the whole country... having finished the positive notes, probably the dirtiest structure I have ever had the displeasure of visiting. The neglect, the lack of cleanliness, the poor quality of the breakfast should be avoided.

15/09/2025: Stayed one night, quiet place, excellent cleanliness, great breakfast, and friendly staff. I recommend it 🥂

12/10/2025: Stopped in for a Nannini, a coffee, and a potpourri plate. Sweets were quite nice, and panpepato was very good. Nice souvenirs like amaretti. The staff weren't too happy; they didn't answer any questions and didn't smile. And it's still off-season, so have fun during the high season.

10/10/2025: Tourist trap warning: I bought my box of ricciarelli for €16.50 at 250g when we found it at Eataly for half price! Very angry.

26/12/2025: The place is very cold, you have to wear a jacket when eating, the cleanliness is very poor, the food is of poor quality and not fresh, there were 5 of us and we all had stomach problems after lunch, the service is poor, I absolutely do not recommend it.

25/12/2025: If I could not give any stars, I would. The dishes tasted like nothing, everything was salty and, above all, cold, and the meat was especially stringy. You'll definitely eat better elsewhere. The staff are inexperienced. I could go on.

24/11/2025: Disheartening levels of rudeness and ignorance. We had lunch here, 12 adults and 5 children. Three-year-olds were busy playing at the table, not letting them run. I'll tell you in advance because there was an argument with the owner there, too. She mentioned that children were running around, and the only one who did so was a 1-year-old who needed help otherwise he couldn't stand up. Also, let me start by saying that ours was the only table other than a table for five, in a room that could have seated about a hundred people. There was a pellet stove to heat the room, but it was too big and so it stayed cold. Moving on to the food, we ordered some starters, then a 4.5kg grilled Florentine steak (which we were told was the weight, but we weren't shown it at all when we went to the restaurant, and it arrived freezing cold!), then two sirloin steaks, which were basically two slices of roast beef, and two of them. But the problem wasn't the food or the quantities, but the owner's manner, which was exaggeratedly arrogant from start to finish. From asking for an extra knife and being told, "Oh, there was an extra place setting, what happened to that?" Or when we asked for fries, he snorted after a while and was told, "Maybe order everything together." Or when we pointed out that a mandarin for one of the children was €4! Halfway through the service, he was told that two more people would be added and that they would be eating the Fiorentina with us without the first courses. Even there, there were problems because they would have to add a table, that they would have to move the place settings. The rudeness, the ignorance, the meat arriving cold inside—in short, we understood why it was almost completely empty. Absolutely not recommended!

28/12/2025: Very disappointing experience I made a reservation to this restaurant on November. Made it through the site. Automated procedure. They also requested a deposit of 50€ per person. I paid and everything seemed arranged. I also received a confirmation mail. When I arrived the restaurant was closed. I called and called but nothing. I kept on calling the next days... I just communicated with a forgotten Automated procedure. No-one checked ever the reservations. None checked the mails, the bank accounts. Pity. Bad experience. Unprofessionals...

22/10/2025: Very elaborate dishes except for my dish which was too spicy

08/03/2026: I found the staff to be a bit unfriendly, perhaps due to two intense days (yesterday/today) with the professional and amateur cycling race. I asked for two coffees, and they immediately said they didn't offer table service, while moments before, they had served a group of friends at their table with coffee and desserts. Never mind, I definitely won't be coming back.

05/03/2026: Deliberately and unnecessarily rude to tourists. Terribly dry pastries. Avoid.

10/10/2025: Leaving a cocktail in the glass? Never done that! Worst I've ever had in my life! I don't know if it's under new management, but I'll definitely never go again! 9 euros for something undrinkable, 2 chips, and 2 stale croutons...

08/10/2025: Spectacular view, mandatory drinking on the covered terrace, otherwise a plastic cup. A glass of Vernaccia costs €8...wow...and the staff isn't cheerful.

12/10/2025: Found by chance, a bit away from the chaos of the historic center. The pici were excellent, as was the cold cuts platter. We had lunch outside under the portico, a great location.

17/02/2026: We ate well! Mixed Piedmontese antipasto: I had tagliolini with ragù, and my wife had plin with butter and sage, tiramisu, and orange cake, all washed down with a decent Barbera. The quality/price ratio was excellent. Recommended 👍

04/02/2026: As soon as I ate lunch, recommended by a heavyweight, I had a great time. The gnocchi with peas were delicious, and the Milanese was exquisite. The service was very kind and courteous. I can't wait to return to Bergamo again.

24/03/2026: I'm on a school trip, and we had to change hotels because the heating wasn't working, there were bed bugs in the rooms, and the furniture was damaged and old. Not recommended, and I don't know where they got the 4 stars.
