01/04/2025: During a trip, I stopped for dinner at this trattoria-pizzeria. The place is tidy and clean, with well-kept internal and external spaces. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good, as was the dessert. However, the lasagna seemed preheated and furthermore, we found a hair inside the dish, which detracted from the overall experience. Ultimately the experience was positive, even if it could have been even better.

15/03/2025: nuova gestione... addio Garibaldi . pranzo di lavoro... seconda volta e , dopo aver dato una seconda chance , scrivo la rece al ristorante... nuova gestione assolutamente non ci siamo... ed infatti , mentre con la vecchia gestione a pranzo era sempre pieno , adesso no... menù completo di lavoro a 17 euro mentre secondo e contorno a 14 euro , ho optato per un petto di pollo e spinaci... il petto di pollo era 30 grammi ... una misera fettina fine e piccola messa lì per caso... chiedo un caffè ed alla cassa invece che fare il caffè , rimane 10 minuti di orologio a spippolare al cellulare... in sala dopo aver finito di pranzare mi riportano il menù per chiedere l ordine come se mi avessero appena visto... insomma...gente messa li non si sa con quale criterio e cibo totalmente insufficiente in porzioni a meno che uno ordini anche il primo... quello sembra in giusta quantità. voto 2 e non uno , perché almeno è pulito .

10/03/2025: Mi capita di passare da San Quirico d'Orcia per lavoro e come ho sempre fatto in passato mi fermo a pranzo. Nuova gestione e cosa pensi? Di trovare facce sorridenti e piene d'entusiasmo,di trovare una qualità almeno pari alla precedente gestione. Trovi personale straniero al quale chiedi olio e aceto (cosa che avrebbe dovuto fare in autonomia a chi ordina un insalata) e solo alla terza richiesta capisce cosa gli stai chiedendo. Ordini un petto di pollo e ti portano una fettina e un pezzetto di petto tagliato,orribile solo a vedere,io che non ho mai lavorato in cucina,mi sarei vergognato di mandarlo in tavola. Era la prima volta che mangiavo qui con la nuova gestione. Spero che possano capire che così non va e correggere il tiro,altrimenti credo sia auspicabile cambiare locale.

26/04/2025: Waren alles Gäste des Hotels zweimal dort und wurden jedes Mal enttäuscht. Das Essen ist Durchschnitt, mehr nicht, die Preise dafür unverschämt und auch der Service mangelhaft. Den Vino Nobile wollte man uns in Weißweingläsern einschenken und der Wein wurde zudem viel zu warm gelagert. Gestört hat uns auch die viel zu laute Musikbeschallung im Restaurant. Im angrenzenden Ort gibt es Trattorien, die wesentlich besser sind als dieses Lokal.

04/04/2025: Bel locale comodamente raggiungibile anche dall'autostrada. Molto buoni i primi della tradizione toscana, tagliata tenera e cotta al punto giusto. Conto leggermente salato ma che rispecchia la qualità delle portate.

23/04/2025: We had such a great time at La Pergola di Radicondoli! Honestly, the pizzas were incredible—super thin crust, packed with flavor, and cooked to perfection. We ordered eight different pizzas (yes, eight!) and every single one was delicious. Not a bad one in the bunch. You can tell they know what they’re doing in that kitchen. We ordered all single pizza, they also have tasting pizza which means a big pizza to share. Although the small pizzas were plenty big. The service was great—everyone was friendly and made us feel right at home. The vibe of the place is really nice too, laid-back and cozy with a charming local feel. Perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family. One disappointing thing was that it was cold and rainy and we didn’t get to sit outside and enjoy the view. One thing to keep in mind: if you’re driving there, be ready for some classic Tuscan roads—narrow, winding, and definitely an experience on their own! Totally worth it once you get there, though. We’re already talking about coming back next time we’re in the area. Definitely recommend!

22/04/2025: The pizza is good, but you can't spend 8 euros for a beer (!) and 15 euros for a pizza! I could understand it in downtown Florence where you pay high rents, but not in a small village in the middle of nowhere in Tuscany. Friendly advice to the managers: adjust the prices, you will get more enthusiasm from your customers and offer better service.

19/04/2025: La maleducazione fatta persona, non abbiamo nemmeno fatto in tempo ad entrare e ci é stato detto:”non ho posto”. Ristorante mezzo vuoto e nemmeno un buonasera: scegliete altro.

19/12/2024: Cenamos dos veces y nos encantó la comida! La pasta alla Gricia, los raviolis, el radicchio, las alcachofas, los pimientos y otros platos estaban muy sabrosos. Teníamos la ricota fresca con castañas y jarabe de mosto de postre y podríamos haber tenido fácilmente tres veces más. Marta era muy servicial y amable. Nos gustaría ir una y otra vez!

20/10/2024: Osteria molto carina ed intima. Cibo buono ma sicuramente il prezzo supera la qualità, fiorentina ottima ma pagare un piatto di patate 7€ per me è eccessivo.

25/04/2025: During our journey on the Via Francigena, we had the pleasure of staying at the Cappuccina Country Resort in San Gimignano, an experience that exceeded our expectations. We were a group of 16 people, staying in 8 rooms, and from our arrival the welcome was simply excellent, making us feel welcome straight away. The rooms were a real luxury, with king-size beds that provided a refreshing rest after our days of walking. But the real highlight was the breakfast: wonderful and with an incredible choice, perfect for starting the day with the right energy. We highly recommend the Cappuccina Country Resort to anyone passing through San Gimignano, especially to groups and to those traveling the Via Francigena. A true corner of paradise!

21/04/2025: Beautiful location 5 minutes from San Gimignano. Large restaurant with swimming pool and a beautiful view. Excellent staff and cuisine of a high standard. Prices appropriate to the place, the service and the cuisine that reigns supreme. Certainly among the best in the area. Highly recommended

22/04/2025: Cibi pessimo, birra allungata, servizio ancora peggio, cameriera molto maleducata. Abbiamo chiesto il cambio del primo piatto perché faceva un cattivo odore (pici con la nana) la cameriera ha inventato delle scuse improponibili per non farlo. Credo proprio che non ci ritorno

02/03/2025: Tuffo nel passato con sapori autentici e genuini come le persone che ci lavorano. Ottimi sia i pici al ragù bianco che le scaloppine ai porcini e la tagliata al rosmarino. Prezzi onesti , sicuramente da fermarsi se si è in zona .

25/04/2025: We ask if there are mushrooms in the tagliatelle with wild boar and the waiter replies "I don't think so", while I'm about to ask him to check in the kitchen he takes off and leaves. Wait of at least 45 minutes, the waiters clearly ignore us while they go through the dining room to bring dishes to people who arrived at least 20 minutes after us... I get up to ask how the first courses are going and they "magically" bring us the dishes after a few minutes. Out of 8 first courses, 7 arrive and the waiter says "ok, we're good to go"... when he was clearly sending me the dish. Pici "cacio e pepe" arrive with pepper and CREAM... not even a hint of cheese. Guys, go horse racing, it's better.
