06/09/2025: Great "older" house with everything you need. Super nice and very quiet location.

01/08/2025: Our 2nd time having lunch here and it’s been wonderful. The location is just magical, the food is delicious and the service and kitchen are fantastic, but everything is at an Italian pace so expect to sit back, relax and enjoy.

09/09/2025: We had three pasta dishes, all lukewarm. Portion sizes were veeeery manageable.

28/07/2025: Quaint and rustic. We were looked after by the personable and very obliging and helpful Ivan. Our visit also included a wine-tasting of biodynamic wines. Perfect for a Steiner educated family 🥰 Morizo was our wine guide who schooled us on Brunello and Rosso. We are absolute philistines and knew nothing about this type of wine. So this added to our southern hemisphere repertoire of Pinot Noir and Barossa valley reds.

22/06/2025: A typical Tuscan 17th century farmhouse, truly enchanting immersed in the hills surrounded by expanses of vineyards. In the park there is an area equipped with a beautiful swimming pool, deck chairs and sun loungers. With some friends we also booked a wine tasting including Brunello di Montalcino. The owner, very helpful and kind. We spent a weekend in the name of peace, tranquility and love for this corner of paradise.

18/08/2025: Amazing pizza slice The sausage ciaccino was even better. Nice lady, prices in line with the product. Recommended.

16/08/2025: Ciaccino stuffed with fantastic ham. The pizza with artichokes and cooked ham is also very tasty. I recommend it for a quick meal in the center of Siena.

23/04/2025: Aucun restaurant ouvert ce mercredi nous finissons dans ce restaurant. De prime abord nous sommes mal accueillis (on nous adresse peu la parole, ne nous assied pas, une fois assis pas de pain ni veau). Puis la commande faite et arrivée, une très bonne surprise avec un très bon poulet, et des bonnes gnocchis maison. Un verre de vin un peu cher. En résumé, un très bon repas qui mériterait un service plus aimable

26/08/2025: We stayed three nights at the Relais Della Rovere and had dinner one evening at this restaurant. The setting within the hotel is very pleasant, especially on the terrace in the summer evenings, but the quality of the dishes isn't always up to scratch, leading to disappointment given the price. The beef tartare was very good, but it lacked a bit of seasoning. The truffle pasta was good, but you could tell it wasn't homemade and was in a bath with a bit too much butter. The gnocchi were quite good, but the pesto was definitely not homemade and lacked a bit of flavor. The wine list is extensive, but almost no bottles were under €45. We finished with a pecorino platter to share for fear of being disappointed with the desserts. The platter was quite generous with cheeses, but we're still looking for the accompaniments mentioned on the menu. In short, for a meal costing over €60 per person, we were generally disappointed. I recommend the hotel, but unless you really don't want to leave the hotel, skip the restaurant! I'll end on a positive note: the service was friendly and welcoming.

01/01/2025: Ero stata a cena in questo ristorante un paio di volte mangiando sempre bene soprattutto i piatti di pesce quindi quando ho visto il menù per l'ultimo dell'anno non ho esitato a prenotare. Purtroppo la cena si è rivelata pessima, piatti insapore, pasta scotta, pici che dovevano essere in crema di finocchi e cozze serviti senza alcun condimento e papposi, dolce ridicolo un bicchiere di crema, che sinceramente era fatta anche bene, servita con un mini triangolo di pandoro, in pratica un bicchiere di crema da mangiare senza niente, ovviamente impossibile e stucchevole. Ok, il prezzo della cena era contenuto ma questo non è un buon motivo per cucinare male. Inoltre il locale era freddo e c'era corrente d'aria, capirete che la sera di S. Silvestro le signore con gli abiti da sera hanno sofferto il freddo tutta la sera. Che peccato!

13/11/2024: Il locale dispone di una terrazza panoramica. L’interno è un po’ anonimo e scarno. Menu vario e interessante, servizio accurato e cordiale. Ottimi i pigi al ragù bianco e il tortino di zucca. Pessima la tagliata al pepe verde, fredda e dura, immangiabile. È stata però tolta dal conto. Insufficiente il tiramisù.

12/07/2025: There was no welcome greeting, waited a few minutes and waved a few times to get attention. We had ice cream and beers here. Ice cream price: small cup with 3 flavours is €8, 4 flavours is €10. Beer 400ml is €7.6.

17/08/2025: The atmosphere is very neglected. I admit I was a regular, and now the place is completely run down, with no attention to detail, dirty, and unkempt. The service is completely improvised, with no logistical order; the so-called head waiter doesn't even know how to clear a plate from the table. Having returned after a year (as a customer under the previous management), I'm disappointed with the food: the dough is frozen and rubbery. The beer sucks (and it was one of the best). My famous No. 8 sandwich was served with fried food that was still frozen. The parsley sauce wasn't really a sauce (they probably don't even know how to cut parsley in this kitchen). The pink sauce is Heinz, bought off the shelf at Co-op. The only good thing is the radicchio. Kudos to the greengrocer.
