16/12/2025: This almost historic place collapsed with the change of management. €60 for three starters, a dessert, and two bruschettas. We won't be returning.

03/12/2025: I'm just leaving this little trattoria where I promised the owner I'd write a review... I don't write many, but this one was due. Being in the area for work, I stopped here at La Casina. It's a friendly, welcoming place, with limited seating but a reasonable menu. They offer both a la carte options and a €15 fixed menu (starter, main course, and side dish). I think they're very busy at lunchtime with nearby businesses, as all the tables were taken. Despite this, I decided to order the dish of the day, which consisted of pappardelle with wild boar. The pasta was delicious, plentiful, and the wild boar sauce was seasoned to perfection. Once I'd finished my plate, as I certainly couldn't stomach any other main course, I ordered two homemade Ricciarelli. Three arrived, and since I couldn't eat one because I was so full, the friendly waitress practically forced me to take it home in a bag... When it came time to get the bill and drink my coffee, I chatted with the owner and realized that this truly is a healthy and authentic place unlike any other. Highly recommended for anyone in the area.

18/10/2025: A couple of weeks ago my husband and I were in Florence, we tried to find places that offered authentic Italian food, with products from the region and typical dishes of the place, the last night we arrived at this place where we were told that it was authentic Italian food and with products from the Tuscany region (I don't know if that's entirely true since we are not experts in Italian food), the thing is that my husband and I liked the food although it was the most expensive meal we ate in Florence it was also the one we liked the most, the treatment and attention were good and we had a nice evening.

12/10/2025: We went to this restaurant at the recommendation of our hotel. It was a very positive experience: excellent food, excellent wine, and above all, excellent service, thanks to the younger waiter with the goatee (sorry, we didn't even ask your name), who contributed a good 50% to the evening's success. The dessert tasting is highly recommended.

17/08/2025: Huge disappointment. Cold welcome, unpleasant waitress. We asked to have coffee on the terrace, but the waitress demanded that we pay the bill first. It was very awkward because it implied we were going to leave without paying, even though we'd been waiting in line to pay for quite a while. A place to avoid if you want to have a good evening.

08/11/2025: A beautiful restaurant with a splendid view of Tuscany. The beef tartare with guava is innovative and a perfect combination. The ravioli are also exquisite. Excellent service, highly recommended.

25/10/2025: The service was awful as the staff was incredibly mean making us pay 8€ to have a look at the menu (we spent 5 minutes in the restaurant, apologized and tried to leave as there’s no good alternatives with no pork). They insisted on us paying for the tap water which we didn’t drink and coperto charge for spending 5 minutes at the table). Disrespectful and rude, snobby and ugly, don’t recommend for anyone with any self respect

25/10/2025: Terrible place. Do not come here. Did not like the menu, was going to leave the restaurant but was charged 8€ for NOTHING. For the question “8€ for WHAT?” Staff responded that they need to “clean” everything we touched, and that they charge money for their TAP water. If u want to have a great meal with the people who you enjoy spending time with DO NOT COME HERE. This is truly unacceptable.

23/11/2025: We entered this newly opened restaurant. As soon as we climbed the stairs, we were greeted by a stuffy, food-filled smell. It didn't inspire me, but we didn't have much choice because we had little time to eat. We sat down, and the small room was cold, and the split-level oven took a while to heat up. We ordered a platter and two crostoni, which were good, no complaints. The only surprise that kept me from giving it more than two stars was the bathroom. We were the first customers, and the bathroom was dirty. The toilet was stained with feces, and there was no way to dry our hands because the hand dryer didn't work and there was no paper. The quality of a public establishment is determined first and foremost by the restrooms, which must be clean and functional for customers.

24/11/2025: Not bad for sushi in Siena....since they opened they've slightly revised the quantity and quality of the dishes, but it's still a decent place to eat....

12/11/2025: The food is really good. We often go here with our friends and always enjoy it. They also have a student discount, so the prices are excellent and very fair. You can eat lots of delicious sushi. If you love sushi and are in Siena, you absolutely must visit this place!

20/07/2025: Ristorante con una cucina di altri tempi, schietta, varia e realizzata alla grande! Menù vario con piatti della tradizione e non,ma tutti realizzati con grande grinta, prodotti ottimi, porzioni abbondanti,prezzi modesti in rapporto alla a qualità !Locale semplice , pulito, personale cordiale e efficiente.Riconosciuto dall’accademia della cucina italiana!

02/11/2025: This is our go-to spot for a great salad and lunch in general. The lettuce and produce are always very fresh, the service first rate, and the passing parade of people makes it a fun spot. If you’re a bit hungrier, try the Tagliata, one of the best I’ve had in town.

27/10/2025: We happened to be at this restaurant around 4 p.m. for a late lunch. We ordered risotto and lasagna for starters, and a 1.2 kg T-bone steak for two for the main course. We chose a Brunello to go with it. It was all excellent. The waitress spontaneously offered us a small tasting from their own winery, and we decided to pick up six bottles across the street. We found it outrageous that they charged us the restaurant price of €93 per bottle! We will return to Montalcino, but certainly never to this restaurant again.

03/10/2025: It's open for lunch, which is a win. The food was good, but not the best I've had in Italy. The service was good, but they didn't tell me what was on offer that day. The daily menu looked better than the menu. And they forgot to bring me the dessert menu. The best service in Italian restaurants was from foreigners in search of a better life.

21/10/2025: Food and service were outstanding. Not to mention the stunning view. My husband and I went there for a coffee at first and the staff was so lovely we decided to go back for brunch. After that we went back for dinner. We just couldn't get enough of this place. We had a 3 weeks vacation driving around Italy and our experience at Terraza was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. The dinner we had was comparable to a Michelin star restaurant. Andrea and Nico were lovely and offered impeccable service. Looking forward to my next Lake Como trip.

28/07/2025: Quaint and rustic. We were looked after by the personable and very obliging and helpful Ivan. Our visit also included a wine-tasting of biodynamic wines. Perfect for a Steiner educated family 🥰 Morizo was our wine guide who schooled us on Brunello and Rosso. We are absolute philistines and knew nothing about this type of wine. So this added to our southern hemisphere repertoire of Pinot Noir and Barossa valley reds.
