I start by forgetting which menu to choose, they make up excuses, and finally I'm still waiting for the dessert menu.
Good food, with a few imperfections: the octopus was a bit burned with too little sauce, and the steak was overcooked. Service was poor: the table was dirty; we had to ask for it to be cleaned. The staff was friendly.

We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of the guide we were taking on a tour of Siena. We ate on the terrace (reservations are essential to get a table) and tried the Pici alla Contadina and a salad. It's true that the restaurant was full and the waiters were overwhelmed; the service was relatively slow until they took our order. We enjoyed the food, and I thought the price was very reasonable.

Very good food, excellent pici alla contadina.
The menu is very wide and varied, and you can even combine very different dishes, such as a plate of pici and a smash burger.
Excellent location.
Good service, not excessively slow.
Clean and nice dining room, but the bathroom is small, unisex, and unfortunately not in the best condition, with a broken lock.

We went to get the smash burger deal. The price is VERY competitive, but the burger needs improvement: I wouldn't pay the original price for that burger.
The meat was very dry and chewy, and the bun was clearly not good quality. The sauce and everything else were fine; the best part was the fries: delicious and plentiful.
The staff was a bit unpleasant; I felt like I was in the way just for being there to redeem the deal… In short, the deal is a steal (hence my 4 stars), but it's ending soon… and I wouldn't go back if they don't improve the recipe.

The tagliata was good and tender, beautifully served with roast potatoes, cherry tomatoes, arugula, and shaved parmesan.
I found the cover charge a bit expensive at €4, which in Italy is just the price of bread.
