Found by chance, a bit away from the chaos of the historic center. The pici were excellent, as was the cold cuts platter. We had lunch outside under the portico, a great location.

Not sure what others experienced. Pici with Guinea Fowl was divine. Wait staff were engaging and polite. It was fantastic.

My pasta with boar ragout was excellent and my wife liked her tomato crust dish. Pompardelle (sp). A great lunch. More expensive than many other restaurants in town.

We didn't get any reviews before entering, and I would have preferred other ones. The food wasn't good; the ravioli tasted like nothing more than pasta, and the lasagna wasn't bad but very average. The potato with tomato sauce was delicious. The service was good, but the restaurant lacked atmosphere; very few people, even though the outside space is very pretty. They charge a 10% service charge in addition to the cost.

We went to this restaurant tonight, we ate very well and drank just as well!! The service was attentive and friendly, even for us who had a 4-month-old baby. Recommended!! We'll be back!

24/04/2026: Great foodprocessor, we were here 9 years ago and again great pizza's.
17/04/2026: We stopped on the way to Siena, and the name alone inspired me... I felt like I was at home... and indeed! The very kind Signora Marcella welcomed us with the warmth that only Neapolitans have, nothing short of! We ate spaghetti with clams that seemed like mommy made them, and scialatielli with mussels and clams that... what can I say? We gorged ourselves! We complimented the chef, who we discovered was the mother, Lucia, of Signora Marcella who welcomed us... and only a mamma's skill could make dishes like that! Then, not content, we tried the montanare trio... tomato and mozzarella, mortadella and chopped pistachios, and... eggplant parmigiana!!! Do we even need to talk about it? A delight! Everything was delicious, at times over the top, I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat big, abundant, flavorful meals at great prices. Thanks Delicatessen! What the heck!

20/09/2025: It's a simple and unpretentious café, yet still welcoming and charming. It's become a must-visit, as we often stop here on our travels from Umbria to Tuscany. The service is fast and friendly, and there's a wide selection of products, including cute, handmade Tuscan souvenirs. You can enjoy freshly prepared sandwiches and even buy some packaged items (cookies, chips, snacks).
