09/08/2026: I won't be too harsh because I haven't written reviews before and I've eaten well, but today was a real disappointment. The seafood appetizer was all from the bag. What really pissed me off today was that, despite having asked the (very kind) waitress several times before ordering whether the clams used in the spaghetti were "veraci," "lupini," or frozen Pacific clams, in which case I wouldn't have ordered the spaghetti. When I went to school to ask, she came back and told me they were from Spain. The dish arrived at the table, and I recognized without a doubt that they were frozen Pacific clams, exactly what I had criticized. I politely pointed this out to the waitress, who returned a few minutes later and told me we could just as easily skip the charge. That's not the point. I wouldn't have ordered that dish if I'd known, and since it's becoming very trendy to cook seafood with these clams, which cost €4 a kilo at most and are frozen, I asked before ordering, feeling completely taken for a ride. The owner should have come to the table to explain and, if necessary, apologize. I think the bill was paid without a cent off, but again, that's beside the point. It's a shame because the spaghetti was actually good and had a lovely aroma. I finished the pasta, but the clams weren't really to my taste.

11/08/2026: Overall a nice wine bar with some small street seating. Was overcharged and had bill to be corrected. Drinks were good; wine selection ok. Would give a better review if waitress and barkeeper would have been as friendly to us as they are to Locals. Service slow

10/08/2026: Very good wine bar. Knowledgeable staff that can help you find a wine for you that is within your own palette. We ordered two different Brunellos. Very tasty. They served snacks with the wine. The salty ones were ok - but I am not a fan of bacon snacks and ketchup to my wine. But we just did not eat it - so fine. The decor is great - you are basically surrounded by bottles. Great place to go for a glass of wine.

22/04/2026: You honestly can't get any more local than this. It has a really big variety of foods to chose from, and honesty you won't go wrong with any option. The food is local, very, very good, how many people will label it as "made with love". I would honestly eat here everytime if I could, and actually try everything on their menu. I had the chance to taste from multiple plates and every one of them was delicious, enriching with flavours. This place is a must if you are visiting Siena

05/03/2026: Tuscan food and hospitality, at its absolute best. Enzo and Sonia made us feel so welcome and took the time to describe the traditional dishes on the menu. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was sublime. If you are heading to Siena, I highly recommend you grab something to eat at Ristorante da Enzo. You won’t be disappointed 😊🇮🇹

07/06/2026: We just had dinner with my son. The meat was amazing. The two ladies at the tables were really good and discreet. We didn't sleep in the rooms. The view was breathtaking, with a sunset. The only downside was the potatoes that accompanied the meat, which were frozen. It's a shame that meat like this deserves so much more.

04/01/2026: Just returned from two nights at the property, beautifully maintained and cared for by Elena, who has been practically alone these days. The location is beautiful; in the heat, the large pool must be a plus. The Giotto room we occupied is very large and comfortable. The bed was truly superb. The large, beautiful marble bathroom is just a little awkward to reach. The shower handles are a bit awkward. The large bathtub is now unused. The restaurant is adequate for the property, with local dishes prepared very well by a local chef. We would gladly return in the warmer weather.

31/07/2025: The view is lovely, the place though is crowded and loud. Sadly it took forever till we could order and till our coffee arrived. Getting a slice of cake was near impossible because the staff seemed overwhelmed, so we left without dessert.

30/07/2025: Fantastically beautiful location, delicious food, one of the staff was a bit less friendly and the order was wrong, but we didn't charge extra. A great experience 👍

05/08/2026: Wow! I'm actually grateful to my Mercedes satnav for the detours it sometimes takes. 60 gins! A bartender who really knows his stuff. Super chill, open-plan space. Great twists on burgers, Caprese salad, etc. Super friendly staff and dog-friendly. I'd love to move in here with my wardrobe! Okay, that's it for now, gotta get back to trying more gins and food :)

04/08/2026: Delicious pinsa, a charming place in the middle of the forest. Perfect for dinner and a nice time with an Aperol!

08/08/2026: Crostone is great for a quick snack or lunch if you're not very hungry and want something different! The service is excellent, the family is very friendly, and it's an indoor, air-conditioned space.

11/08/2026: Nice place, good pizza and a variety of beers. Outside there is a beautiful, well-kept and cool garden with games for adults and children. Evenings with live music. I definitely recommend it.
