24/06/2025: Breakfast needs improvement. We were expecting a farm with local products, but none of that was offered. The interior of the accommodation needs updating! The location and the view are fantastic!

25/09/2025: We stayed at Villa Ducci in August 2025 (with our small dog). I can fully recommend Villa Ducci. The entire staff was always very friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. The breakfast buffet and dinner were excellent! Even our special dietary requests were accommodated. Our small dog was never a problem. We felt completely at home and will definitely be back.

28/02/2026: I dined at this restaurant with my dog, as I usually do in many restaurants in Siena and other cities. The dog stayed by my side, on a leash. He barked a couple of times, but the restaurant was very noisy and noisy, so he didn't cause any significant disturbance. When paying, however, the owner emphasized that he had "done me a favor" by allowing entry, stating that the local health authority had ruled that dogs were absolutely not allowed on the premises and that, otherwise, fines would be imposed on both the restaurant owner and the owners. Aside from the legitimate business decisions, what left me perplexed was the way the issue was communicated and the assertion of a supposed absolute legal prohibition, which does not appear to exist in these terms. If you decide not to allow animals, it's a respectable choice, but I believe it's right to communicate this clearly and consistently, without presenting it as a "favor" or a general legal obligation.

22/09/2025: Excellent experience. Super friendly, helpful, and welcoming staff—top marks. The dishes were beautifully plated and truly delicious, without exception. Fair prices. The location was meticulously maintained. The parking management staff were extremely organized. Reservations are recommended. Highly recommended.

14/12/2025: We ordered two Negronis, which were listed at €5 each on the menu, and a bowl of Ascoli olives listed at €3. Despite this, the final bill was €22, with a €9 difference that we couldn't figure out where it came from. The only thing we hadn't specifically ordered were some rather old chips brought with our drinks, which perhaps were charged without any communication. The overall experience wasn't a positive one: the place, despite it being a Saturday night, was completely empty, and much of the food listed on the menu was no longer available, except for the fried food. Furthermore, when we entered, there was a strong smell of cigarettes, meaning someone had been smoking in the dining room. All things considered, I wouldn't recommend this place.

01/03/2026: My husband and I stopped here one evening for dinner... attentive and friendly staff, good pizza, flaky and light, good prices... the only negative note is the pizza toppings where more attention could be paid... mine was a spring ciaccino with only 2 slices of ham and 2 cherry tomatoes cut in half... too little.

01/12/2025: Let's start from the assumption that the review is a result of the price and the expectations it creates. Booking only through the app means losing customers; you have to answer the phone if you want more. It's one of the most expensive restaurants for Florentine steaks, at €78 per kg, so you expect the best in everything: service and quality. Unfortunately, the quality and service are those of an average restaurant, neither good nor bad. The appetizer, cured meats and cheeses, are good quality, but served on a white trattoria tray when perhaps an inlaid wooden cutting board would do the trick. I asked for a glass of Montalcino wine worth €8, but it was brought to my table already made and not poured at the table. This seemed strange and unclassy to me. For an €8 glass, I would have appreciated it for transparency towards the customer. Let's move on to the Florentine steak: the meat is good quality but not excellent, and it wasn't cooked perfectly either. It was overcooked at the edges, while the meat on the bone wouldn't come apart in some places and was too raw. It was also served on a ceramic plate and not on the traditional lava stone. When I pointed this out, I was told it was a restaurant choice to ensure the Florentine steak doesn't overcook while on the stone. It's a shame that from there, you can see the chef's skill in cooking it a little less and then giving the customer the option of switching it to the stone for more doneness. In any case, the stone's purpose is to keep the meat warm, whereas with the deal they use, some parts were already cold when they served it. Overall, I can't say the food is terrible, but I think they should either improve the service and quality, or review the prices. If there were only four of us in the restaurant on a Saturday night at 9:15 PM, there must be a reason. As of now, I wouldn't recommend it at all.

05/07/2025: El mismo día que llegamos a la Toscana decidimos ir a un restaurante cercano recomendado por el hotel. Llegamos al establecimiento donde mi hija de 11 años (que habla Italiano con fluidez) se adelantó y preguntó si podían hospedarnos a los 4. El anfitrión inmediatamente comenzó a maltratarla, en voz muy alta, preguntándole si no era capaz de levantar el teléfono y llamar para solicitar una reserva, entre otras ofensas. Se aseguró de que todo el restaurante pudiera escucharlo e incluso después de que salimos del restaurante pudimos escucharlo haciendo bromas sobre nosotros y los clientes riendo. Seamos claros aquí: si logras ser cruel con un niño, no es un rasgo de personalidad ni tampoco se trata de que no te importe lo que piensen los demás. ES SIMPLEMENTE CRUEL Y MALVADO. Y los clientes que se ríen son igual de malos. Por lo tanto, te sugiero que si lees este post y estás en Montefollonico evites este restaurante o, si lo prefieres, pases por allí, pidas una mesa y cuando te traten mal respondas en el buen y viejo Italiano: VAFFAN… C. U. ¡¡¡L.O!! !! !

25/11/2025: Don’t believe to 4.5. Very mediocre food! We had asked the beef tartare, wish we did not. I love beef tartare, but this was not good at all. I had one bite and it was enough. I asked “crostinis” wich was dry toast, with no flavor. The one with gorgonzola was ok but the bacon on the top was almost raw, in one piece, so with one bite the whole thing is coming… it wasn’t baked it wasn’t cut up. Not a good experience at alllllll! The wine wasn’t tasty as well. Don’t waste your money, find another place!

23/09/2025: We went to the Tavern to do a tasting of the famous Brunello di Montalcino, a very traditional wine from the Tuscany region. The atmosphere and service were very good, but the food left something to be desired... but since that was our only option, we ended up eating it anyway, as we wouldn't do a wine tasting without at least putting some food in our stomachs.

31/07/2025: The view is lovely, the place though is crowded and loud. Sadly it took forever till we could order and till our coffee arrived. Getting a slice of cake was near impossible because the staff seemed overwhelmed, so we left without dessert.

30/07/2025: Fantastically beautiful location, delicious food, one of the staff was a bit less friendly and the order was wrong, but we didn't charge extra. A great experience 👍
