08/02/2026: I was at the restaurant recently, and to be honest, the food wasn't bad. The only flaw was the owner in the jacket. We ordered an appetizer of crostini and chicken livers, pappardelle, wild boar, and veal in Brunello. After bringing the dishes, he told us the veal wasn't ready yet and would take at least 30 minutes to an hour. We initially decided to wait and started eating. The owner brought us more crostini while we waited, of his own free will, due to the inconvenience. After a good half hour, we asked about the veal, but he told us it would take another hour. We had a visit to Antinori in the afternoon, so we decided to leave. When it came time to pay, here's the deal. In the first bill, he listed not one, but three portions of crostini, and the veal that never arrived. We immediately exposed him by pointing out the mistake, and he took the veal away. At that point, teased, we also disputed the two additional portions of crostini that had arrived, which we hadn't requested but had been brought by him due to the mistake. He dismissively removes one of the two additions. Recommended place for the food, but he should learn to run a restaurant. The atmosphere needs rethinking; put two split air conditioning units instead of the stove in the middle of the room.

15/11/2025: Superbly warm service, excellent cuisine. A very pleasant atmosphere where you truly feel welcome! Tuscan cuisine, but not the typical standard menu. I was absolutely delighted. The service was top-notch and the suggested wine was truly incredible. We'll definitely be back!

14/07/2025: Decent bar in the Pieve Modolena area, on the way to the Gigante supermarket. Excellent coffee and good pastries. The place is run by two young people, very knowledgeable and courteous. Overall, not bad. I recommend it.

16/11/2025: The food was really good. It's a modern restaurant with a large window next to a vending machine. You'd expect a no-frills menu for workers. And I think they do something along those lines on weekdays. On weekends (it was a Saturday), they offer an à la carte menu, with normal prices, for both meat and fish. The quality was really good. A lovely mixed fish appetizer and a mixed grill, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

11/10/2025: We ordered two different sandwiches, two different coffees and tried 4 pastries. Everything was amazing. So tasty and flavourful! Lots of options to choose from. You need to check them out

17/03/2026: Both the bakery and pastry sections are fabulous, the coffee and lunch service are excellent. It's obviously very busy during meal times and parking isn't easy, but if you're nearby, it's worth stopping by.

16/03/2026: Well, 6 euros a glass for a prosecco of dubious quality, served at the counter by a staff member with zero empathy, no table service and not even half a peanut to accompany it, nothing new but I won't be returning.

01/01/2026: For New Year's Eve, I ordered a roast ocio, confident it would be excellent, knowing the owner. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed because the meat was tough, undercooked, and almost smelled bad. It also made a bad impression on the guests. I will never go back there again.

09/11/2025: Excellent food, very friendly service, cute location. This restaurant was a true hidden gem. I never thought I'd find such a solid pizzeria just by wandering around. We ordered a speck and scamorza pizza, which was nothing short of phenomenal. The speck and scamorza were perfectly flavorful. When we entered the restaurant, we could see the care they took in selecting their ingredients (I regret not taking photos of the cured meats). The pizza was also very reasonably priced: €8.50. I love browsing pizzerias, and this was hands down one of the best I've been to. I highly recommend this place.

15/02/2026: Nice place, just steps from Piazza del Campo. As for the food, we ordered a charcuterie board and a Florentine steak, both of average quality. Excellent wine selection. Prices are slightly above average.

31/01/2026: Great lunch at enoteca i terzi. Extensive wine list as the name suggests. Great menu with classics as well as some interesting twists.

10/08/2025: Menu che non cambia mai. Solo e sempre pici, il dolce in misera porzione viene servito in una ciotolina di solito usata per gli assaggi delle confetture ,ma quello che mi ha innervosito e' stato quando al momento del conto, pur di non farmi uno sconto di 1.70 € mi hanno dato il resto a 90€ in monetineanche di 5 centesimi Il totale era 71.70 e io ho pagato con 90€. Il menù non corrisponde a quanto viene realmente offerto, alle ore 20,00 hanno già finito tutto o lo chef ha deciso di non preparare più quanto scritto nel menù!

30/07/2025: Probamos este lugar para el almuerzo y disfrutamos IT. Tuvimos maravillosas recomendaciones sobre qué probar y disfrutar de todos ellos! Comparte platos para empezar, luego pasta tradicional y estofado de jabalí para la red. Terminamos con Helado para los niños y tiramisú - postre estilo adulto. Toda la experiencia fue encantadora, muy relajada y amable. Gracias por recibirnos! Tuvimos un paseo lento y completo de vuelta a nuestro lugar de estancia 🤭🫣 Mis fotos eran inútiles, pero el sabor de estos platos sencillos eran fabulosos!

30/12/2025: The unexpected cafeteria and snack bar. We arrived by chance during a walk in the Tuscan countryside and were immediately welcomed with our boxer shorts. The dishes, including local ones, are expertly prepared with flavor and are certainly worthy of a restaurant, including the desserts at the end of the meal. The service is punctual and friendly. The vacation day was already beautiful; with La Pergola, we reached the top 🔝

16/10/2025: Excellent wine selection, expertly guided. The platter was disappointing. The risotto with fresh porcini mushrooms was excellent.

04/01/2026: If you're looking for a modern and trendy place, Il Saracino is definitely not for you. However, if you want to dive into the past in a 1970s-style working-class atmosphere, this is the place for you. It seats less than 50 people, and is structured more like a bar than a restaurant. The food is standard, probably more suitable for a business lunch. The atmosphere is very family-friendly.

27/11/2025: Really delicious gluten free panini with mozzarella and tomato. Made fresh to order. Bread was light and crispy, just delicious. Served by a super lovely and kind lady.
