17/08/2024: An excellent restaurant on the street with an informal environment, characterized by the soul and friendliness of the owner. We ate two dishes of homemade pici, one with garlic and one cacio e pepe: very good.

13/08/2024: It was a strange experience like no other in Italy. The staff seemed to be bothered by us, the customers. I felt like I'm interrupting them from something else more important than their actual job, serving food. I ordered some pasta with meat sauce, and the pasta was not properly boiled. It was between raw and completely boiled. The prices do not match the quality.

08/08/2024: They managed to give light to a passage area by offering a simple but highly convivial solution! The cutting boards are excellent and abundant as are the aperitifs that can be enjoyed under a tree-lined space next to a wonderful field of sunflowers!

01/09/2024: Had a delightful dinner here on the piazza. We were seated soon after our arrival, and the waiter was the best we’ve had in a while. We shared a salad and the pizza with cherry tomatoes and arugula. It was fantastic. One of the best meals of our trip.

30/05/2024: Marked with dog paw on camping info, but the campsite doesn't even accept dogs in the low season. The lady at the reception was unfriendly and extremely bad-tempered.

30/08/2024: Lovely restaurant with warm and friendly staff. Nice and cool atmosphere in a warm San Gimignano. Pici all'aglione was top top top. Highly recommend.

18/08/2024: Stunning location as well as terrible three-star service, completely absent service at the pool, embarrassing breakfast buffet, poor room cleaning and makeover. In my opinion, those who manage it do not know the hotel service, just the location and the rooms are not enough, the adequate service must be provided.

09/07/2024: We had made a reservation through TheFork and our reservation was confirmed the day before our scheduled dinner. However, when we got there, the place was completely closed up with no sign of life. I called the number and there was no answer. This was very disappointing as our entire party was really looking forward to Sampling what we had was traditional delicious Tuscan cuisine. Fortunately, some nice local residence directed us to Ristorante Ostello. We did not have a reservation there, of course, but they were able to squeeze us in and we had an exceptional experience.

15/05/2024: We organized our wedding dinner at Casalta. Everything was perfect! From start to finish. So I recommend this restaurant not only for high quality lunches and dinners, but also for private events and parties. A big "thank you" to Tommaso and Valeria, and to all the staff, for the fantastic work done!
