29/05/2026: We visited this trattoria for lunch, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. We ordered tagliolini with truffle, but the taste and especially the aroma were very unpleasant, with a strong hint of smoke. We mentioned this to the staff, who showed us the ingredients to reassure us of the quality of the dish. Personally, however, as I eat truffles often, I'd never tasted anything like it. After a few minutes, we were offered another dish as an alternative to the tagliolini, which we accepted. The pappardelle with wild boar, however, were good, so we opted for those. What left us perplexed was that when it came to the bill, the tagliolini with truffle were still charged, even though they had essentially been left out and replaced with another dish. We would have liked more clarity on this point. The crème caramel also didn't convince us: it had a grainy rather than creamy consistency. As for truffle pasta, I've personally had better experiences at places like Trattoria I Barberi and Le Campane. I also noticed another recent review reporting similar issues with tagliolini with truffle: perhaps it's worth considering this feedback.

02/10/2025: Very welcoming place. I had a wonderful pizza, thin, crispy, and delicious. The waiters were kind and super efficient. I highly recommend it, I'll definitely be back.

12/05/2026: Don’t eat here. 15-20 minutes for waiter to approach table. He insisted we order food and then wine, even though we told him we were ready to order both. Risotto with pumpkin was flavorless. The oriechette with broccoli and anchovies lacked anchovies. Be warned: they do not let customers take home leftover food that they have paid for. There are many good restaurants in Siena. This is not one of them.

11/05/2026: The pici were delicious, but the gnocchi dish wasn't so good today. Also, the waiter wasn't very friendly. He felt rushed; even turning away and leaving while I was speaking was rude. The location itself, however, is very charming.

04/05/2026: This restaurant's strong points are the service and the food. The friendly and charming ladies welcome you and take care of you throughout your dinner. The food is excellent, and the large number of people who come here prove it. Excellent value for money. Last but not least, the free parking in front of the restaurant is very convenient.

04/01/2026: Just returned from two nights at the property, beautifully maintained and cared for by Elena, who has been practically alone these days. The location is beautiful; in the heat, the large pool must be a plus. The Giotto room we occupied is very large and comfortable. The bed was truly superb. The large, beautiful marble bathroom is just a little awkward to reach. The shower handles are a bit awkward. The large bathtub is now unused. The restaurant is adequate for the property, with local dishes prepared very well by a local chef. We would gladly return in the warmer weather.

26/03/2026: La Taverna di Bibbiano is one of those places that seems to have been lifted straight from a postcard in the Sienese countryside, yet it has a touch of authenticity that's often missing from overly touristy establishments. Located between Colle di Val d'Elsa and San Gimignano, with a view of the vineyards that's worth the trip alone, the Taverna's cuisine embraces a revisited take on rural tradition. As you can see from the photos, I ordered a plate of ricotta and spinach-filled ravioli wrapped in a delicate pumpkin cream, a perfect pairing that creates an incredibly balanced contrast between sweet and savory. For my second course, a perfectly golden and crispy chicken roulade, sliced ​​to reveal the rich filling inside. The juicy chicken, flavorful sausage, and strips of candied orange peel, which add a touch of color and a citrusy aroma, are clearly visible. The dish is served on a bed of creamy mashed potatoes and garnished with crunchy pistachio crumbs, creating a truly fabulous combination for the palate. In summary, Location: Enchanting, with a breathtaking view of the hills and San Gimignano. Quality: Excellent ingredients. Atmosphere: Rustic yet refined, perfect for a romantic or family dinner. Quality/Price Ratio: Fair, in line with the high quality offered. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

04/01/2026: A very beautiful restaurant with a wonderful view. Despite the weather, the staff made my birthday party wonderful!! A very well-kept venue, with a quiet and welcoming atmosphere. The waiters were professional, attentive, and helpful. The food was delicious and the kitchen was punctual. Highly recommended!

21/05/2026: Highly recommended! The service was incredibly friendly and attentive. The pizzas were unbelievably delicious. We felt well taken care of at all times. The view and the ambiance were an added bonus. Anyone visiting Siena shouldn't miss this restaurant.

31/07/2025: The view is lovely, the place though is crowded and loud. Sadly it took forever till we could order and till our coffee arrived. Getting a slice of cake was near impossible because the staff seemed overwhelmed, so we left without dessert.

18/12/2025: The atmosphere is classic trattoria, but a little small, with tables too close together. We ordered two pizzas, and what can I say? They were truly superb! The guy who runs everything is really smart, waiting tables, making pizzas, and taking payments quickly.

26/12/2025: We stayed in Rapolano on Christmas Day and Christmas Eve, treating ourselves to a spa experience. We then discovered, surprisingly, that the real gift was booking two consecutive evenings at this Trattoria! We were greeted with a complimentary welcome drink (a rare, precious gesture) and then immediately experienced the spontaneous kindness of the dining room staff, their smiles, their attentive service, and the delicious dishes that tasted of things made with love and pleasure. We thank the owner and chef for this wellness experience on such special days of the year. After meeting her, we learned that you can be anywhere and receive any service, but the unforgettable ingredient, which changes and transforms everything, remains the human heart.

21/05/2026: The passion of pastry chefs can be measured in bites: and this is a place where you'll never stop tasting every creation, from the mignonnettes and biscuits to the traditional pastries, from the nougat, panforte, and panpepati in season to the sumptuous wedding cakes (my favorite are the Bavarian ones) and the croissants, maritozzi, puff pastry, and rice puddings to accompany a coffee or cappuccino. Simply unmissable... and in the evening they also serve excellent cocktails and long drinks, both classic and innovative.
