Ristorante La Sirena In Sinalunga

We went for lunch. It was a Monday after a National Holiday so we were very few at the restaurant. We were warmly received by a lady who took our order. The food arrived promptly and it was delicious. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his seabass (the best he had had in a long time). My seafood salad was delicious. We learned later that our waitress was the owner! Maria Antonia (I hope I remember her name correctly) is originally from Sardinia and speaks very good English, she told us she was also the cook! The house wine (white) was very good and overall excellent value for money. I enthusiastically recommend it. We were surprised the place was not full. It's a bit difficult to see the name of the restaurant from the parking lot. Plenty of parking spots.

The restaurant is spacious, bright, warm, or cool, depending on the season, welcoming and relaxing. The food is excellently prepared; the fish is always fresh and masterfully prepared. The extensive menu offers fish, meat, and vegetarian dishes, all of which are delicious. The frying oil is constantly changed to ensure the fried foods are easily digestible. The owners are polite, friendly, and helpful; the service is always prompt. Cleanliness and hygiene are paramount throughout the restaurant.

Unplanned stop for pizza...even though the restaurant serves fish, the pizza was good, well done!

La Sirena is my favorite restaurant in Sinalunga. You can't find such a good seafood salad anywhere else, not even where the sea is just a few kilometers away. Sushi lovers won't know what they're missing. The pizzas are also delicious.
