10/11/2024: I expected anything but to discover such prestigious wines in Sarteano. The wine list is magnificent and the large table at the back of the establishment gives the impression of being at home. We eat simple, well-executed dishes in a pleasant environment. At the end of the evening, Béatrice and Stéphano, the owners, took a moment to share with us their favorite wines. Thank you to them for this very good time and for their very warm welcome

25/09/2024: This is my absolute favorite place to go in Sarteano! I am always greeted with warm smiles, amazing wine and great food!

10/06/2025: As guests of the relais, we dined here throughout our stay. The eggplant lasagna stood out as something truly special — perhaps the best lasagna we’ve had in all of Italy. 🍆💗

11/07/2025: Expensive place with extremely average food. We took the pastas and it could’ve been a meal I heated in the microwave. Complimentary bread was served which was really delicious, we asked for oil and balsamic to complement it, in which the waiter sneered at us “we have balsamic, but we won’t serve it to you, because it’ll cut your taste” then bought the balsamic out 15 mins later for a salad we ordered 🤣 give me strength… treat us like we are paying for the food, not the other way round

09/07/2025: This restaurant is owned by visionary winemaker Laura Brunelli. Its food exhibits the same characteristics of her world renowned wines. It has high quality cooking and a beautiful wine list featuring, of course, her wines under the label Gianni Brunelli, her late husband. Don’t miss your chance to eat in one of the best restaurants in Sienna.

25/04/2025: Tutto appena discreto e qualcosa meno. Vale per i piatti che abbiamo mangiato e anche per il servizio. I servizi igienici sono molto puliti ma bisogna fare una rampa di scale per arrivarci.

17/06/2025: Really good pizza with a really great view—what more could you ask for? My wife and I first came here seven years ago when we got engaged during a three-week trip, and it was my favorite pizza of the whole vacation. We just came back with our two daughters, and it still didn’t disappoint. If you’re looking for a casual spot where you can walk right up, grab an amazing slice, and enjoy a cold beer with a beautiful view, this is the place.

18/06/2025: I stopped for one night in this hotel (Saturday 14 June) passing through for a motorcycle tour. Not a very modern structure, single room but with double bed, air conditioning, TV, mini bar, terrace, in short for the more than fair price! Bistro service with à la carte menu or restaurant pizzeria practically in the same structure (next to the hotel). A special thanks for having let me park the motorbike inside the hotel courtyard in total safety.

06/06/2025: friendly and helpful staff, Mrs. Costanza is a legendary motorcycle and GP enthusiast, always available to our needs, the rooms are clean. N. B. do not confuse the three-star hotel with the three-star trattoria, they are called the same but the quality of the trattorias is very questionable.

22/06/2025: Great little place. The food was fresh, well portioned. Really a great place friendly staff and was delicious.

22/06/2025: We were a party of 7. While we did need to use some Italian (just download Google Translate if you don't know Italian), it was some of the best food for the value we've had in Italy.

Every detail is light, in harmony with the space and in continuity with Sarteano. High quality breakfast. The room is airy, clean and, when you enter you are embraced by an essence of grapes and mimosas that smells of fields and harmony. High level hospitality and beauty is everything happens in harmony, without signals that can affect the authenticity of the experience. You are discreetly and humanely accompanied and pampered without having the perception of being in a hotel structure. Highly recommended! For souls sensitive to poetry. 10/02/2025: If you don't have a compact car, don't go to the accommodation!!!!!! Park in the parking lot and take your bags with you! They scratch all the rental cars!!!!! I hope the warmly welcoming owner stays there for a long time.

01/07/2025: Great experience. We stayed with our tent. Very large pitches, delimited by hedges and well shaded. Three swimming pools with many umbrellas and sunbeds available free of charge. Compliments to those in charge of cleaning: I have never seen a campsite always so clean in the common areas (bathrooms, showers, sink, laundry)... Always everything perfect at any time. There are also basketball courts, tennis courts, volleyball courts, ping pong tables, and a playground for the little ones. Compliments indeed.

18/06/2025: Amazing place : the food is absolutely gorgeous ! The pasta with mushrooms are excellent. The view from outside is stunning and so peaceful (note that the coberto is charged 2 euros more for this but it is worth it), overall the price paid is a good value froe money when considering the excellent food and the point of view! We recommend !

02/04/2025: Locale anni 70-80 ma ti sembra di essere a casa .. eravamo in due .. abbiamo preso due antipasti e due primi con contorno .. vino della casa 1L e acqua poi due grappe .. tot. 60 euro accettano carta e fanno fattura .. bagno pulito servizio efficiente ..

02/04/2025: 70s-80s place but it feels like you're at home.. there were two of us.. we had two starters and two first courses with side dishes.. house wine 1L and water then two grappas.. total. 60 euros they accept card and invoice .. clean bathroom efficient service ..

09/04/2025: Location molto carina e ambiente familiare. La pizza non é il pezzo forte della cucina, troppo sottile. Buono il resto. Servizio amichevole e prezzi nella media. Quel che stona però é l'aerazione del locale, praticamente assente. L'odore della cucina ti rimane addosso e non é il massimo. Strano in un locale nuovo così, é un limite forte.

23/03/2025: Ieri sera io e il mio fidanzato abbiamo cenato nella nuova location e ci siamo trovati benissimo! Abbiamo preso un antipasto per due , scroccazucche , e io ho optato per una tartare con verdure al pinzimonio, mentre il mio fidanzato ha preso una tagliata al lardo. Tutto buonissimo, abbiamo accompagnato la cena con un ottimo vino della casa. Il menù è cambiato ma ci hanno assicurato che i piatti verranno ripristinati presto! Parcheggio molto più capiente del vecchio locale anche se pieno abbiamo trovato posto grazia all' aiuto di un signore. Prezzi nella norma e giusti , ne vale la pena.
