24/07/2025: Parking is available on site. Luggage is delivered to and from the room by a service. The complex consists of a 12th-century monastery and other outbuildings. The room is large, clean, and well-equipped. Personally, I missed having a wardrobe to unpack my suitcase. However, we were there for almost a week. Most visitors only stay two to three nights. The outdoor pool is absolutely fantastic. There are plenty of loungers, as long as they aren't double-booked by Americans (sun and shade). We didn't use the rest of the spa area; we were always out and about. The staff is nice and friendly. Breakfast is served on the terrace in good weather, and the selection is good. Now for the negatives: the dinner could definitely be better in terms of quality. We tried the food twice and were disappointed both times. The steak was tough for us, and the steak was tough for the next table two days later. One even went back to the kitchen. My pasta with ragu tasted more like a snack bar. I've been passionate about cooking authentic Italian food for years. I buy authentic Italian products. The food was a complete disappointment. We hadn't expected anything different. We weren't even asked for our opinion at checkout. Nobody seemed to care. Summary: Top-notch facilities and staff, dinner in the village or on the go.

09/04/2025: It happened by chance, I was in the area and Google reported the possibility of gluten-free breakfast, I certainly didn't expect the large and delicious biscuits to be made by them! Very honest prices. Thank you:)

05/06/2025: Recientemente pasamos 3 días en Fattorio Poggio Alloro y fue nuestro favorito 3 días de nuestro viaje de 2 semanas! La gente es maravillosa allí, la comida era excepcional y las vistas eran espectaculares. Cerca de San Gimgnano, así que mucho que hacer. Nos encantó la sensación relajada del lugar y el hermoso campo. ¡No puedo esperar a volver!

05/06/2025: Estando en Toscana desea probar el vino Chianti. Sí, lo tengo y mucho más. Hemos paseado junto a los viñedos y olivos, hemos saltado a los establos y hemos aprendido dónde y cómo se crea el vino. Todo el grupo de nosotros tuvimos un maravilloso tiempo de cata de vinos, disfrutando de maridaje de vino con productos locales. La cena se basó en la granja local y la comida de temporada y hemos aplaudido. Una señora que estaba celebrando su cumpleaños el mismo día tuvo la oportunidad de beber vino de la copa muy especial. Quedamos fascinados con el paisaje, la comida de gran calidad y el vino de Dios y sobre todo apreciamos el amor y el cuidado de la familia y todo el equipo. 05/01/2026: We arrived for lunch, a couple with a 10-month-old baby. At the entrance, the waiter told us the air conditioning was broken, but that it would be fixed in 10 minutes. They put us on the veranda on January 5th, with temperatures far from ideal for lunch, while the staff ate inside in a comfortable atmosphere. The service was attentive, but the food was unremarkable: the terrine with melted pecorino cheese was good, the tagliata was average, and the pici alla bava was questionable, as were the crostoni. When we got to the bill, with two glasses of wine and two coffees, we were presented with a receipt for €89 (a bottle of water for €5). Not even a small discount for wearing a jacket and hat throughout the meal, especially with a baby at the table. Honestly, it seemed like a tourist rip-off, location aside, not a place we'd recommend to anyone who knows how to eat and treat customers in Italy.

03/01/2026: I stayed two nights before New Year's Eve. The rooms were dated, poorly maintained, and not very clean! The staff were very kind. The breakfast room had no heating, so it was incredibly cold.

21/12/2025: Book by phone ☺️. We had a great time, highly recommended. The reception staff were very kind and helpful, they gave us lots of advice on parking in various cities, places to eat, and where to buy culinary souvenirs. 😋 It's a strategic point for visiting Siena, San Gimignano, and Volterra. I recommend their parking because the area is either blue or for residents.

04/08/2025: Fuldstændig fantastisk mad! Noget af det bedste hjemmelavet pasta, vi har fået i Italien. Så skøn, afslappende stemning og fantastisk betjening. Selvom vi havde vores 1-årige med, var der plads og overskud til det. De havde desværre kun åbent til frokost i weekenden, ellers havde vi været der flere dage i ugen!

01/01/2026: Food was OK but not hot enough. Seriously lacking green vegetables for some reason. Expensive and small portions. ‘Artisanal’ pannetone was dry, over priced and filled with lumps of chocolate which did not enhance it. Nice wine. Restaurant was cold as was the food. Not the best. Nice staff

13/11/2025: A small, welcoming place. The menu includes a few dishes, but they're all delicious, made with top-quality ingredients! We finished the meal with a dessert prepared by the local pastry shop, but it was so good I didn't have time to photograph it 😋
