19/01/2025: Had a very good cappucino and a good filled croissant (chocolate/pistaccio) here two days in a row, very cheaply and was served in a friendly and professional manner in English. Price-performance ratio is very good. Sure, it's at the bus station, but if you're looking for an exclusive ambience you'll have to delve deeper into the city and then accept higher prices.

05/06/2025: Recientemente pasamos 3 días en Fattorio Poggio Alloro y fue nuestro favorito 3 días de nuestro viaje de 2 semanas! La gente es maravillosa allí, la comida era excepcional y las vistas eran espectaculares. Cerca de San Gimgnano, así que mucho que hacer. Nos encantó la sensación relajada del lugar y el hermoso campo. ¡No puedo esperar a volver!

05/06/2025: Estando en Toscana desea probar el vino Chianti. Sí, lo tengo y mucho más. Hemos paseado junto a los viñedos y olivos, hemos saltado a los establos y hemos aprendido dónde y cómo se crea el vino. Todo el grupo de nosotros tuvimos un maravilloso tiempo de cata de vinos, disfrutando de maridaje de vino con productos locales. La cena se basó en la granja local y la comida de temporada y hemos aplaudido. Una señora que estaba celebrando su cumpleaños el mismo día tuvo la oportunidad de beber vino de la copa muy especial. Quedamos fascinados con el paisaje, la comida de gran calidad y el vino de Dios y sobre todo apreciamos el amor y el cuidado de la familia y todo el equipo. 09/10/2025: Wonderful, fresh pastries. Even the plain/naturale cornetti are great, though the sweet ones are also delightful (the coconut--the ones with the little white sprinkles on top--are quite tasty). Friendly staff who accommodate my terrible Italian. Extremely good prices. Highly recommended!

07/09/2025: An ideal place for a vacation in the green heart of upper Umbria, a good starting point for destinations like Lake Trasimeno, Tuoro, Passignano, Castiglione, and a quick trip to Tuscany. Spacious and comfortable apartment. Excellent pool and restaurant. All this is enhanced by the helpful and friendly owners. We'll definitely be back!

02/11/2025: It was our first time at this restaurant, and upon arrival, we were informed that many of the items on the menu were unavailable. Only later did we discover that it was the last day of operation before closing—information we felt should have been known in advance. Regarding the wines, none of the requested labels were available either. The staff outnumbered the customers, but despite this, the service was inattentive. In particular, one waiter (presumably the sommelier) was quite rude. We were at the table with two children, one of whom was just two years old. The restaurant was already decorated for Christmas, and a nativity scene with all the characters was on display near us. Naturally, the child was drawn to it, which was entirely understandable at his age. A lady immediately pointed out that the figurines were "very old," implying she didn't want the little one to touch them. I thought: if you don't want children getting close, perhaps it would be better not to place such delicate objects in a place accessible to customers. Shortly afterward, a young woman approached us with a small box, saying, "I'll take them away, otherwise I'll never find them again," as if she feared the child might take the figurines away. At that point, we found this attitude truly inappropriate. But it didn't end there: when it came to coffee, we asked for two macchiatos and were told that the milk was out. Truly incredible. Finally, when it came to the bill, we were told the total amount without taking into account the €80 deposit we'd already paid. Only after we pointed this out was it deducted. The waiter, apparently, knew nothing about it. We wondered what would have happened if we hadn't remembered the deposit... A decidedly negative experience, from every perspective.

28/10/2025: The staff clearly don’t like tourists. They’re very willing to take your money and then treat you with absolute disdain. We spent 100 euros on dinner for 2 and after finishing our meal we just wanted to enjoy our bottle of wine but were told well before closing time that they were closed. They were rude and obnoxious and made it abundantly clear they just wanted us to leave. Don’t waste your money going here - the staff are truly insincere and are absolutely jaded and over tourists. Beware!

08/11/2025: Bad food, I ordered pici with porcini mushrooms. The pasta arrived with rosemary and olive oil, and the pappardelle with ragù was a mix of minced meat and wild boar. Who asked for wild boar? I didn't. The waiters were truly unprofessional, they seemed in a hurry to get home. They took us to our booked table, and there were crumbs on the tablecloth and even on the pages of the menu. Well, the place leaves a lot to be desired. We also spent €36 per person.

16/10/2025: Beautiful location, stunning views of the valley hills, and excellent food. Friendly and helpful staff...it's almost perfect!

02/09/2025: Slightly outside Siena, located inside a very welcoming campsite surrounded by greenery, quiet, and with very friendly staff. The Tuscan specialties and pizza are excellent. Recommended 👍

05/07/2025: El mismo día que llegamos a la Toscana decidimos ir a un restaurante cercano recomendado por el hotel. Llegamos al establecimiento donde mi hija de 11 años (que habla Italiano con fluidez) se adelantó y preguntó si podían hospedarnos a los 4. El anfitrión inmediatamente comenzó a maltratarla, en voz muy alta, preguntándole si no era capaz de levantar el teléfono y llamar para solicitar una reserva, entre otras ofensas. Se aseguró de que todo el restaurante pudiera escucharlo e incluso después de que salimos del restaurante pudimos escucharlo haciendo bromas sobre nosotros y los clientes riendo. Seamos claros aquí: si logras ser cruel con un niño, no es un rasgo de personalidad ni tampoco se trata de que no te importe lo que piensen los demás. ES SIMPLEMENTE CRUEL Y MALVADO. Y los clientes que se ríen son igual de malos. Por lo tanto, te sugiero que si lees este post y estás en Montefollonico evites este restaurante o, si lo prefieres, pases por allí, pidas una mesa y cuando te traten mal respondas en el buen y viejo Italiano: VAFFAN… C. U. ¡¡¡L.O!! !! !

24/06/2025: Romantic, calm place, wonderful view. Well-kept pool with a view of the hills. A special thanks to Luciano who with kindness and sympathy cheered up our breakfasts and advised us for all our needs and to Max and Neila for the welcome

24/06/2025: The breakfast needs improvement. We expected a farm with local products. Instead, we were offered none of that. The interior of the accommodation needs to be renovated! The location and the view are fantastic!

07/11/2025: We only tried the bubble tea, which is relatively rare here.
