13/05/2026: A small place that's very popular with locals, which is a good sign... We ate some excellent pizzas there, received a very warm welcome, and enjoyed a lively, youthful atmosphere... If you're passing through Rosia, stop by for a break.

03/08/2026: We only went for lunch, home cooking, they have a fixed menu, we asked to take a few things and the waitress told us since there were few people it could be done but in the end they made us pay the same as the fixed menu with a small discount, there were 4 of us we ate for two paid for 3 and a half. 🥺

28/06/2026: Beautiful farmhouse located in the province of Siena, in the municipality of Monteroni d'Arbia. Surrounded by nature, amidst woods and meadows, it's also ideal for children. Excellent cuisine. Holiday apartments are available. Must try.

08/08/2026: What a lovely surprise. Excellent appetizers. The platter was excellent, and the crostoni were even better. But the real highlight was the service. The waiter was alone, yet he was quick, friendly, and welcoming. Congratulations. I'll be back.

24/04/2026: Drawn in by glowing reviews, we had high hopes for this place — and in some ways, it delivered. The setting is genuinely breathtaking, with spectacular views and plenty of outdoor seating to soak up the natural surroundings. On a sunny day, sitting outside here is hard to beat. Unfortunately, that's where the highlights end for us. The room was disappointingly small, and the double bed consisted of two separate mattresses with no top cover — a simple detail that made for a surprisingly poor night's sleep. We'd recommend clarifying bedding arrangements before booking if you're a light sleeper. The bathroom was, frankly, a shock. For such a charming, atmospheric property, the standard here feels completely out of place. The space is tiny — borderline claustrophobic — and the shower is barely functional. Turning around requires real effort, the fixtures are worn and tired, and the water temperature offers only two settings: scalding or freezing. There's no middle ground. It's also worth noting that the property is not accessible for guests with mobility difficulties, which isn't mentioned clearly enough upfront. The access road is another thing to be prepared for — a roughly 10-minute drive along an unpaved gravel track from the main road. Breakfast was average, nothing to write home about. A beautiful location let down by poor room quality and a bathroom that urgently needs attention. With some investment in the basics, this could be a gem.

30/03/2026: A simply wonderful place nestled in the Tuscan countryside, easily reached by following the signs on a well-traveled dirt road. The staff were extremely friendly and the service was top-notch. I hope to return in the future. Thank you so much.

26/12/2025: We stayed in Rapolano on Christmas Day and Christmas Eve, treating ourselves to a spa experience. We then discovered, surprisingly, that the real gift was booking two consecutive evenings at this Trattoria! We were greeted with a complimentary welcome drink (a rare, precious gesture) and then immediately experienced the spontaneous kindness of the dining room staff, their smiles, their attentive service, and the delicious dishes that tasted of things made with love and pleasure. We thank the owner and chef for this wellness experience on such special days of the year. After meeting her, we learned that you can be anywhere and receive any service, but the unforgettable ingredient, which changes and transforms everything, remains the human heart.

19/08/2026: Today, with a friend, we stopped at this place for a beer. When the waitress arrived, we asked at the counter for two small lagers with something to eat. They suggested a salami sandwich, and we also asked for a little pecorino cheese. After a while, they served two piadinas (good and warm), 12 cm in diameter, filled with two meager slices of finocchiona salami and a tiny bit of pecorino cheese, all for the MODEST price of 32 euros. Maybe a bit too much? Definitely, you'll definitely never see us again. ...

18/08/2026: We arrived by chance, looking for a place to have lunch along our route. We discovered a wonderful place where we ate divinely...we still remember those pici cacio e pepe! It's a shame we only had lunch there once! We'll be back... Highly recommended

30/06/2026: Unfortunately, the Wine Bar was closed on the day of our visit, so we didn't have the chance to stop in. And that was a real shame, because the place really invites you to do so. Surrounded by greenery, among trees, shaded tables, and the timeless charm of the Abbey of San Galgano and the Montesiepi Hermitage, it exudes a rare sense of tranquility. It's one of those places where you can easily imagine yourself with a good glass of wine in hand, enjoying the silence and beauty of the landscape. The setting alone is worth a stop. I will definitely return, hoping to find it open this time.

02/06/2026: A restaurant near the Abbey. Very nice, simple atmosphere. Very good Tuscan food. It's a shame about the unjustified hour-long wait (there weren't many people) and the lack of attentiveness from the staff. I think it's due to inexperience. This aspect could be greatly improved.

02/06/2026: I went there for dinner with friends, the place and people were fantastic, the Florentine steak was excellent.

10/05/2026: A family-friendly atmosphere with no pretensions. Kind and friendly. We dined and stayed two nights in the Istrice apartment, where we also had horseback riding lessons. The homemade food was good, but nothing exceptional. Unfortunately, there was little attention paid to the dishes; we even found a fly in the sauce. The apartment was clean and very large, with no complaints. The horseback riding lesson experience was very engaging, with attention to the horse at the beginning and end: thrilling. The only flaw: two slightly overly exuberant dogs who jumped on us to play several times; unfortunately, this behavior isn't always appreciated. The location is a bit out of the way and can be reached by driving at least a couple of kilometers of dirt road.

05/08/2025: Pochi piatti ma molto ben cucinati, atmosfera familiare e un oste che ti fa sentire a tuo agio. Prezzi alti ma in linea con lo standard di Pienza: molto gradito il liquore finale…. ci facciamo uno Spinello? 😁 Ci tornerei anche domani!

31/07/2025: Ambiente gradevole e personale molto gentile menù molto limitato e prezzi esosi. Pici all'aglione buoni ma non abbondanti e un prezzo elevato (18 euro). Una lattina di Coca Cola 5 euro, un bicchiere di vino della casa 8 euro. Non lo consiglio nè ci tornerei.
