Crostone is great for a quick snack or lunch if you're not very hungry and want something different! The service is excellent, the family is very friendly, and it's an indoor, air-conditioned space.

We arrive at the square and take a look around. I'm quickly won over by the kindness and friendliness of the true Tuscan host, the one who makes you taste the flavors and tradition that is not neglected by any of the crostoni chosen, each one better than the last, my favorite pecorino with walnuts and honey, oh how good it was... and the delicious panzanella, simple and good as per tradition, the setting is beautiful and my kids tried the swordfish upstairs, a taste of history, I absolutely recommend going there if you're in the area.

A very nice restaurant with friendly service and delicious local specialties. The crostoni (large slices of open-faced sandwiches), a variation of bruschetta, are highly recommended. The only place around here where you don't have to pay a cover charge.

Sometimes reviews should be for the owners and not for potential customers. This place has a good idea, and a lot of potential but unfortunately lacks finish. I understand that the owner insists the bread is fresh but if the customer keeps saying it’s hard. Perhaps buy a different kind of bread. It’s not working. I ordered a panini today and I had a jaw workout. Also the cocktails weren’t cold. They had ice but other places in town they were much colder. Air con and windows open is not a good combination. Too warm in there. My brother in law said the coffee was bitter and the bruschetta was too hard. The owner needs to work on his customer service if he’s going to work in a tourist area. Be a bit more friendly and not so forceful. They need to invest in a good cleaner. My only positive is that my Birra Moretti was very cold. I wish the owner good luck and I hope he takes this review as constructive criticism and not an attack.

We chose this place randomly and were immediately pleasantly surprised by the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. Following the owner's advice, we ordered a platter and three crostoni to share. Everything was delicious, made with top-quality, local produce. At the end of our meal, the owner invited us to tour the interior, with its original medieval ornaments, which impressed us greatly. In conclusion, it's definitely a place we'll return to and one we'll definitely recommend.

Fantastic Crostoni ❤️ After three years, since we were visiting Lazio, we took advantage of the opportunity and wanted to return. We ate at "Il Tagliere Medievale" and were truly satisfied. The food is delicious, prepared with quality ingredients and with attention to detail. The crostoni are simply fantastic: rich in flavor and absolutely worth trying, you'd eat a thousand of them. The atmosphere is truly pleasant, and the overall experience was truly positive. We recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy excellent food in a characteristic setting.
