The ciaccino is delicious; my discovery was the one with soppressata, which was delicious. I was there on the day of the Palio, and the ladies at the counter were kind enough to save some pieces for me to grab at the end of the Palio when they reopened, despite the crowds.

Amazing pizza at a great price. We took the waitress's recommendation and it was perfect. Try the ciaccini. There's no seating. No bathroom. Ideal for a quick 5-minute meal before continuing your visit to Siena.

An ideal place for those who want to try authentic ciaccino! The place is just steps from Piazza del Campo and is perfect for a quick bite to eat. The only downside is the lack of tables and chairs.

Wow... the epitome of Sienna pizza. The taste is insane. A famous pizza place that has been around since 1983. The owner is friendly, and the unique crispiness is truly excellent. It only costs 3 euros, and there is a certain atmosphere to eating standing inside. Ciaccino Ripieno is the best menu item and the original. It consists of ham, cheese, and bread without tomato sauce. 3 euros. Ciaccino Vuoto is just plain with nothing inside. 1 euro. I ate two slices here alone.

01/04/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance, having searched for it online during a trip, and found ourselves in this little oasis of peace surrounded by nature a few kilometers off the highway. It presents itself as a simple trattoria, but we immediately knew we'd be satisfied, given that the number of cars there for a midweek lunch indicated it was well-known in the area. C: We started to select the dishes, even though everything was delicious! Typical local cuisine with some meat dishes and a wide assortment of lake fish. I tried a salmon trout tartare, which was amazing: I'd never tasted anything like it! The truffle crostoni, the fresh pasta picci with lake ragù, and the grilled fish were also delicious. We enjoyed it so much that on the return trip, we changed our plans to be able to return. U: Even though I'm not particularly fond of lake fish, these dishes won me over. Everything was delicious, traditional cuisine combined with innovation, with some unusual combinations. Just a little too much salt in some dishes (e.g., the tomato gnocchi) for my taste, but everything was very good! Recommended!

04/06/2026: The food was excellent, but unfortunately the service timing let the experience down. For the starters, all dishes arrived together as expected. However, when it came to the main course, the steaks were served well before the side dishes. In fact, two of us had finished our steaks before the sides even arrived. I hoped this was just a one-off mistake, but the same issue happened with dessert. The three of us ordered two tiramisus and one coffee with biscuits. The coffee and biscuits arrived 7–10 minutes before the tiramisus, meaning one person had effectively finished their dessert before the rest of the table had even been served. These kinds of service delays disrupt the flow of a meal and take away from the shared dining experience. The staff were very apologetic, which was appreciated, but consistently poor timing between dishes is what prevents this restaurant from being a 5-star experience. The food itself was excellent, but the kitchen and service coordination needs improvement.
