We had a group wine tasting here. Their wines are top notch and they offer promotional prices. However, their olive oils and acetto balsamico are a tad overpriced.

Tolle Weine, leckeres Essen, netter Service und lockere Atmosphäre. Wir waren einige Male dort, haben hervorragende Weine, nicht billig, probiert und auch das Degustationsmenü genossen. Wir kommen im nächsten Urlaub wieder.

Cinghiale con polenta molto buono anche se con olio sovrabbondante...comunque gustoso. Olio ottimo e vino altrettanto. Atmosfera cordiale ma approccio professionale... ravioli al cinghiale top...da provare

In arrivo in toscana verso l'ora di pranzo, abbiamo cercato al volo un posto dove mangiare e le recensioni ci hanno convinto al volo per questo. Locale molto bello e curato con soffitto "green" e scaffali in legno pieni di bottiglie della produzione della cantina del ristorante. Servizio veloce, ma poco caloroso. La scelta dei piatti tipici toscani era varia, noi abbiamo scelto di condividere un tagliere di salumi e a seguire pici all'aglione e paccheri alla coda di rospo (piatto del giorno), accompagnati da un calice di chianti. Buona qualità e prezzo adeguato, consigliato. Solo qualche sorriso in più del personale e tutto è perfetto.

Cibo buono ma la tagliata forse un po' troppo cotta per una cottura media richiesta. L'insalata mi e'costata quasi quanto una tagliata, 16 euro, decisamente troppo anche se buona. A pranzo 45 euro tagliata insalata e acqua un po' troppo. Personale gentilissimo

The dishes themselves are good, unfortunately expensive (as elsewhere too), but the service is not the best. The host did not welcome and serve us as if we were his guests, as has happened to us at every other dinner in the Chianti area, but it was a very commercial experience. We only had dinner there because we were staying at the owner's B&B, and we had to remind him at the cash register of the "discount" he had promised us. If you are a person looking for a trendy place, full of people, touristy, with pop-commercial music in the background, willing to spend without paying much attention to the experience itself, then this is the place for you! Shortly after my review the owner contacted me via Whatsapp, I attach the screenshot of the chat. His messages denote the professionalism and intelligence of this gentleman, a skilled salesman, but who has much to improve in terms of courtesy and hospitality towards his customers. However, I invite you to visit Castellina in Chianti, a true pearl of the area. Fortunately we also met humble and pleasant people! P.s. 01/04/2024: I went to this place for lunch with a small group of adults on a cultural trip to Pienza and Monte Oliveto Maggiore. Super hospitality and service. Great attention to all our dietary needs, a very private and welcoming place, an exceptional menu, with high quality local ingredients. Excellent value for money. Convenient parking in the immediate vicinity (also for coaches), total wheelchair accessibility, as everything is on the ground floor. Highly recommended.
