The breakfast served every morning is delicious and varied. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This place is the perfect choice for a quiet and peaceful holiday.

11/08/2024: Excellent trattoria convenient to get to, because it is on the state road, with excellent food, had the Pici all'aglione, also with Tuscan ragù and also cacio e pepe. Then I also got the Chianina steak and a nice platter of cold cuts, all excellent and plentiful, accompanied by local Chianti wine, with prices around 30/35 euros. Excellent experience that I share with pleasure.

07/08/2024: An excellent dinner… This restaurant is very nice and well-kept, the staff in the dining room are always attentive, kind and never intrusive. Let's start with some truly delicious fish appetizers to end the dinner with the second courses, fried fish cooked very well, turbot with caramelized onion? winning pairing Excellent quality raw materials...!!!

01/08/2024: We went for lunch for a birthday, the place is in good condition and well-kept, with references to marine environments. We opted for a seafood menu, the starters were a seafood salad that was too crunchy and not very tender and decidedly acidic, the creamed cod and only one mussel were very good. We chose three first courses with normal lobster, the calamari and prawn risotto creamed with cream (they say it is one of their specialities), the Venere rice with seafood, the best dish of the three. The grilled seafood where the cuttlefish was quite raw, the swordfish was cheap, and the prawns grilled without shell but with the intestines, same fate for the fried prawns with the intestines, to conclude the fried cod which was decidedly not fresh and stringy. I am very disappointed by the average quality of the fish given that it presents itself as a fish specialty restaurant and also by the very limited choice of wine list. I remind you not to have coffee! Cuisine and service are sacred and therefore mastery, love, ability and common sense are needed in pursuing a restaurant business and in recognizing the quality of the raw material. This review is an incentive to improve the service and quality offered so as not to forget the objective of catering, that is, eating well and making people feel good is the art of hospitality. 06/08/2024: I was there on an afternoon of bad weather together with my daughter and my friends, on 3 July 2024, we arrived in the early afternoon, there were very few people as the weather promised rain, the outside is very beautiful and well-kept , the panorama overlooking the Crete Senesi is fabulous. We stayed in the external pools for a while and then the strong storm arrived and we moved to the internal pool, then to the relaxation area, very beautiful and clean environments! The bar where we stopped for a nice aperitif before leaving was excellent!! Highly recommended!!!

02/07/2024: in un luogo fantastico che è La Rocca di Castagnoli, il ristorante Il Celliere è magico ed elegante. Accoglienza e cortesia sono il benvenuto in questo magnifico locale. La cura dei particolari e la qualità dell'ambiente è alta ma gioviale. Il menù è ricchissimo di proposte, i piatti curatissimi e presentati ad arte sono una squisitezza. Il servizio molto attento e cordiale. La grande scelta dei vini completa il tutto, Ottimi i Chianti locali. Bravissimi tutti e complimenti per la professionalità. Un locale al di fuori dei soliti richiami e piatti per turisti, in poche parole GRANDE QUALITA'.

30/06/2024: Ambiente elegante, personale gentilissimo e professionale, buona la cucina, piatti presentati molto bene, sì sentono i sapori e il prodotto usato sembra di ottima qualità. Forse , per mio gusto un po’ troppo carichi …il pecorino sovrasta un po’ nel l’insieme… Ok la la carta dei vini ed i prezzi adeguati a ciò che viene offerto. Peccato non si disponga di tavoli all’ aperto

07/04/2024: We stopped randomly to get a couple of sandwiches and a bottle of wine: a very pleasant discovery. The very kind owner. The smell was so great that we devoured the sandwiches in the car on the way! To my Perugian friends: it is exactly one bottle of wine from Perugia and really worth the trip. Highly recommended, I would love to have it at home to stay there every day. If you happen to be in these parts: ABSOLUTELY STOP!!!

30/07/2024: Pretty good Japanese food. Except for the tuna tartare which is really fishy and a bit painful to eat, they are all delicious and the rice is not too soft! The salmon sashimi is delicious! The fried shrimp is also very solid! recommend!

19/08/2024: 10 minute wait, Without a soul that deigned to reveal itself. Empty place, chef who pretended not to see us and the waitress who had the courage to say that they were full and we couldn't eat dinner. Terrible on all points of view including the insistence of parking

19/08/2024: Recommended by a friend, it was immediately an excellent experience, Michele and his staff proved to be friendly and helpful, finding us a free table despite the late opening hours on the day of the Palio. Very rich menu including land dishes, pizza and cuts of meat of different varieties, we started with a platter of typical products of unique goodness, first courses always very abundant in the dishes and to finish a perfectly cooked cut of beef, all accompanied by a house red wine. A round of applause to the head nurse and the staff including Michele for their availability and professionalism. Competitive prices for the quality of the food and the service, certainly not one of those restaurants "for tourists" but on the contrary a typical place where you can eat really well and receive professional service, we will certainly return.

28/08/2024: We waited 30 minutes for take-away pizza (3 courses) while there were very few people in the restaurant. The pizza has nothing special, the environment is very nice but that remains. Worthy of note is a padded item sold for 9.5 euros with the modest size of a hand. Smaller than average pizzas, very good ingredients.

23/08/2024: Professionalism. kindness. availability and friendliness of owner/pizza chef and the staff accompany them delicious pizzas stuffed with ingredients quality. If you are nearby it would be a shame not to stop.

15/07/2024: Da sempre per noi Barbi non era solo ottima cantina di vini.ma anche una delizia per il palato con raffinati piatti toscani curatissimi!! Da qualche anno il ristorante ha purtroppo ceduto il.passo ad un angolo di degustazione.Un peccato ma sicuramente comunque una soluzione piacevole con ottimi prodotti e vini eccellenti. Quest'anno abbiamo portato amici con noi..e ci siamo trovati nella bellissima sala a gistare formaggi e salumi di prima qualità...ma ERRORE INACCETTABILE ,,considerando la location ed i prodotti, portando a tavola un pane rinsecchito e vecchio che neppure le galline ambirebbero trovar come dieta! Non si può cadere su questo.....son cose che si pagano e sia noi che i nostri amici siamo rimasti DELUSISSIMI tanto da non voler tornare più sicuramente! Un pane stantio..non aiuta a valorizzare come si dovrebbe gli ottimi prodotti oltretutto non certo "regalati"! Esperienza di anni che si chiude qui!
