05/08/2024: We stopped in by chance because the kids were hungry, and this place did not disappoint! The staff was super friendly, and the food offered an authentic Italian experience with delicious homemade pasta and sauces. The prices were very reasonable. A great find!

01/08/2024: Terrific!! We were lucky enough to be served by an extremely friendly woman - we were offered to try everything and the ice cream portions are not only extremely tasty but also HUGE!! We had to travel 20 minutes by car several times after the experience, not even the world champion ice cream in San Gimignano could keep up!! The tarts are also highly recommended,

17/05/2024: I had a quick breakfast two days in a row. I found the brioches very good and "abundant" Overall, the service was fast. So many customers that it makes you wait a bit, but the quality is not lacking. Fair price and friendliness. Too bad I didn't try the pastry shop. I will definitely return.

26/08/2024: Taverne traditionnelle dans le village de Vagliagli, à proximité de Sienne. Cuisine délicieuse et prix raisonnables. Les meilleures côtes d'agneau que nous ayons jamais mangées. Vraiment ! Un bémol cependant sur l'accueil et la qualité du service. Nous recommandons vivement cependant pour la qualité de la cuisine.

25/08/2024: Sono due anni che in occasione del palio di Siena del 16 agosto la serata di ferragosto dopo una giornata in piscina ceniamo in questo ristorante. Si trova a circa 10 km. Da Siena in un borgo bomboniera che si visita in 10 minuti. L’ambiente è caratteristico e d’estate si mangia in una veranda all’esterno molto bella con tavoli ben distanziati e ben apparecchiati. La scelta di pietanze non è solo quella tipica della zona ma noi avendolo provato l’anno scorso su consiglio di amici per la Fiorentina ci siamo riandati per riprovare le ottime sensazioni culinarie di cui eravamo rimasti estremamente soddisfatti. L’esperienza è stata di nuovo ottima e ci ritorneremo di sicuro. Super consigliato!

01/07/2024: Very elegant restaurant in the center of Siena, with a very wide selection of wines and a concise but interesting menu. We order a Fiorentina with baked potatoes and spinach. We were not asked how we wanted the meat cooked, but it arrived medium rare. However, it's a shame about the meat itself, certainly of good quality, but it wasn't the best. Furthermore, the knives used to cut it were terrible, they were very uncomfortable, not sharp and made the experience unpleasant. Potatoes, on the other hand, are fantastic. Truly exceptional. Disappointed by the service, with confused waiters who don't communicate with each other and come by one after the other to ask for the same things and the ladies who run the place are a bit grumpy and with little attention to the customer (unless you are foreigners or their friends).

16/08/2024: A really great restaurant with a view of San Gimignano, the pizzas are terrific and the rest of the menu is also highly recommended. A majority of the guests are Italian and since it was raining, it was a bit noisy throughout. But that also makes it very beautiful and Italian. A clear emo miss, we'll definitely be back. Be sure to reserve otherwise it will be difficult as it is very busy.

15/08/2024: Insider tip in San Gimignano, a nice, quiet restaurant with super pizzas and great food. The restaurant was well attended. I would recommend a reservation, there is enough parking space,

21/08/2024: Despite the reservation we were completely ignored for more than half an hour. Didn't even take the order. Waiters in clear difficulty. Customers looking around disconsolately, all waiting to be served. Asking around, this experience was also confirmed by other people. Sin.

21/08/2024: Nice restaurant, with good service and quality food. We ordered 4 dishes: marinated trout, meat, pasta stuffed with zucchini and tiramisu. Highly recommended!

23/08/2024: We came here with the desire to eat a good Florentine steak and we left with the desire to eat a good Florentine steak. We expected something more! Unfortunately our expectations were not met, meat was normal, nothing unforgettable, even a little burnt, too bad! The cost is absolutely not worth the experience. On the other hand, friendly service and a nice place.

23/08/2024: I really love the food, the place is not bad but the one thing that I didn't like was the glass of wine I ordered (it was like ⅛ of the glass only) it's was like a shot of wine lol.

09/08/2024: Hotel immerso nel verde della campagna Toscana pulito e accogliente. Personale molto gentile, camere pulite ma datate, andrebbero rimodernate ma la gentilezza dello staff ha superato i piccoli disagi. Voto ristorante :Ottimo! Chiarella

08/07/2024: Orrendo !. Alle 21:30 il cuoco chiude la cucina se vuoi mangiare devi scegliere quello che dice il cameriere . Arista al forno imporchettato con patate o tagliata in padella !😟..🙏. Cibo orrendo !… vecchio e stantio !… Cameriere oltre età pensionabile con cameriera che ti guardano fissi per farti alzare … 50€ per un cibo orrendo … da cancellare !!..

01/09/2024: Excellent location, Piazza Mercato, a few steps from Piazza de Il Campo. We had dinner 2 times in a row, being 3 people, enjoying different dishes. An excellent review for the Fiorentina cooked to PUNTINO accompanied with grilled vegetables, without taking anything away from the other well-executed and presented dishes. Highly recommended also for the absolutely right price in terms of quality/price.

28/08/2024: La Finestra is serving great, traditional Tuscan cuisine in a slightly off-the-beaten track location that you can't help but feel works against them, albeit without them going to great lengths to create atmosphere in spite of their headwinds. We arrived to find we were one of only three occupied tables. Not surprising as we were eating relatively early (for Italy), 7.15pm. But what was immediately evident was the lack of music... it's like kryptonite for making a restaurant feel absent of ambience. We ordered and were given a bread basket that contained pre-packaged bread sticks. Not an ideal start, but luckily all was saved when the first course arrived. The caprese salad was fresh and delicious, and the wild boar charcuterie an excellent way of building appetite for the main. To follow, the cacio e pepe was a solid dish and the steak and salad fantastically cooked. The food ultimately was better than the atmosphere, and as we walked home past several buzzing restaurants we couldn't help but feel that La Finestra is a bit of an unsung hero in search of an audience.

29/06/2024: Volevamo pranzare con amici nei pressi di radda e ci siamo imbattuti casualmente in questo ristorante che rimane alle porte del paese. Appena entrati abbiamo subito respirato l’aria di casa, i proprietari (marito e moglie) che gestiscono il locale si dividono fra sala e cucina, quindi tutto ciò che cucinano viene fatto in casa, e si sente, il cibo è veramente ottimo con specialità che non si trovano facilmente negli altri ristoranti,oltretutto hanno anche una buona scelta di vini, da provare il giuggiolo un amaro tipico!rapporto qualità prezzo ottima!esperienza fantastica! ci torneremo!! Grazie dai valdarnotti!!

17/06/2024: Un piccolo gioiello nel Chianti, un'osteria curata in ogni dettaglio, che segue l'architettura del luogo. Ad accoglierci c'è Aldo, che con gentilezza e saggezza ci consiglia i piatti migliori e il vino da abbinare. Provate due riserve Chianti notevoli. I piatti sono a dir poco stratosferici. Racchiudono l'Italia che fa invidia al mondo. Un mix di semplicità ed eccellenza, di cibo che non trovi più, di sapori autentici. La mia vacanza é appena iniziata, ma io e la mia famiglia abbiamo già dato un senso a questi giorni, con una cena strabiliate. PS. Andiamo via sabato, abbiamo già prenotato per l'ultima sera qui, per provare la seconda metà del menù che ci manca.

30/08/2024: Ci hanno consigliato questo posto, ed é stata una bella scoperta! Locale ben curato con pochi posti all interno ( aria condizionata) ma con possibilità di pranzare o in veranda o nel piazzale esterno! Abbiamo preso 2 piatti freddi: un prosciutto e melone e un carpaccio di di bresaola ( freschi tutti e 2 , davvero buoni) Avevamo ancora fame, e Nico credo il responsabile ci ha consigliato di assaggiare la pizza ( idea bella nel poter scegliere tu la grandezza ) impasto favoloso, ingredienti buoni, cottura e croccantezza strepitosa. Se ritorneremo a Montepulciano questa sarà una tappa obbligatoria

31/07/2024: Never thought of ordering pizza for breakfast but hey is seemed to be the local custom and it was awesome. Coffee and pizza is a thing now! Very helpful and friendly staff.

26/07/2024: Everything truly exceptional. Location, comfort, kindness of the owners, breakfast, flexibility. I definitely also recommend purchasing the fantastic oil produced by their mill. We also had dinner with them twice, you couldn't ask for better. Thanks for the wonderful holiday! We'll see you again for sure
