We had lunch here with my husband and 10-year-old son. It's a typical, traditional restaurant, deeply rooted in traditional Sienese cuisine and its Palio. The staff is truly friendly and welcoming, and the food is extraordinary. We were lucky enough to get a table because we were right in front of the door before it opened; otherwise, we wouldn't have been able to without a reservation. The owners have won over new members of the Contrada from London!

Luckily, the food was very good and the waitress was very friendly, because the man who seems to be the chef should quickly change careers… what an attitude towards his customers! Zero service and zero payment.

The food was delicious. Siena was the best value-for-money meal we've ever had. We'd also like to thank Elvira for her lovely conversation and warm hospitality. Highly recommended! :)

We ordered two tagliata. The meat was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. The prices were very reasonable, even for the Florentine steak, which we didn't order. There are places that charge a lot more, but here the quality of the meat is excellent. Very close to the city center, fast service, and indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommended.

20/08/2026: Thank you for the warm welcome. As French speakers who struggle to string two words of Italian together, you were very helpful. With the help of your staff, we managed to understand each other and had a wonderful time. Thank you to the waitress who gave us information about the Palio and to the young man at the till, both of whom spoke excellent French. A big thank you! 20/08/2026: We ended up here while wandering through the streets of Siena and avoiding the tourist squares. We had lunch here; if you like tasty, generously filled sandwiches, this is the place to be. The waiter serves you in a super friendly manner and the prices are great.
