Locanda Garibaldi Restaurant In Siena

I couldn’t recommend the restaurant here enough! The food was outstanding. Friendly, relaxed, efficient and delicious. We first came here 20 years ago and it’s still a wonderful place to eat. We didn’t stay there so can’t comment on the rooms but go to the restaurant! V close to the Piazza del Campo and very reasonably prices.

We've eaten twice (and will return) at this restaurant, which seems to be trying to scare away customers, but... you eat like your mom used to! The Venetian-style liver is truly a poem. The chef knows what he's doing, while still maintaining the "simple" approach. Those who want to eat without surprises (including cost) should sit down and enjoy the old Tuscan tradition, rough yet satisfying. Enjoy your meal!

This place struck me first and foremost for the hospitality of the people who run it, a quality that's far from a given these days, especially in a tourist-heavy city like Siena. The hotel itself is delightful: an interesting place that combines the charm of an old building in the heart of the city (just behind Palazzo Pubblico) with original, more modern details. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, with a view of the side entrance to Piazza del Mercato. The restaurant was the best dining experience I've ever had in Siena (despite having lived there for two years, about 25 years ago). The menu is simple, but the dishes (we tried pici al ragù and ribollita) are excellent and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is perfect, almost like something from another era. I felt completely at ease and would return every time I'm in Siena. Thank you!

This family-run restaurant was an amazing experience. The food is great, the prices are fair, and the staff was amazing. I felt like I was having lunch at my nona’s house. :)

We only had lunch and I would say it's a good restaurant, the dishes are not elaborate but good, the pici cacio e pepe are excellent and above all, being just a stone's throw from Piazza del Campo, the prices are more than fair.
