⭐ *Tuscany as it should be* We ate truly authentic Tuscan food here, and it was a dream! Everything tastes like home, like it's made by hand, and like good, local ingredients. The pasta, the grilled meat, the bread with olive oil—simply honest and perfectly seasoned, without any unnecessary frills.

Typical Tuscan tavern. Very welcoming atmosphere. Excellent food. The tagliatelle with wild boar are fabulous! Recommended for experiencing the atmosphere of authentic Tuscany.

While touring Tuscany by motorbike, we happened upon this little village by chance, where we found this oasis: a beautiful, fresh tavern with excellent cuisine, the best I've found in Tuscany. The Pici all'aglione were divine. Congratulations to you and your wonderful welcome. Thank you, thank you.

It was a pleasant and very tasty surprise, a very nice place, I recommend you book otherwise you risk not eating. The quality/price ratio is extraordinary.

I'd give it 11 stars. It feels like an oasis in the desert. We ate very well and spent very little for the amount we received. I hope to return.

18/05/2026: Wow, really enjoyed our dinner at Il Frantoio a few days ago. Well priced, excited dishes and perfect service. Worth being noticed in the Michelin guide.
07/05/2026: Amazing dining experience in Colle. From the very first greeting, the menu and super extensive wine list walkthrough - we felt welcome. We chose from the a la carte menu, with chicken liver pate and ox tongue as appetizers (the paté is amazing!), then moved to smoked spaghetti, fava bean risotto with smoked trout and then pork loin. There wasn’t a single dish that was short of amazing. The wine list was a bit intimidating with bottles ranging from 25 to 900 EUR but the lovely guy who welcomed us also helped with the wine choice- and it was great. Warmly recommended!

Casa Chianti Classico

10/06/2026: Perfect place. The owner is very welcoming and kind. We were 3 couples on motorbikes, we ate delicious food, we drank. We drank 2 bottles of wine and we just wanted to go to sleep.
02/06/2026: Unforgettable handmade pici, superb peposo. Truly excellent cuisine in a truly charming setting. The terrace overlooking Chianti is spectacular.
