We decided to dine at "Conte Matto" primarily for the view of the hills surrounding its terrace. Unfortunately, however, due to the slightly chilly temperatures, we stayed inside, which pleasantly surprised us with its atmosphere. Davide and his wife, the restaurant owners, are welcoming, friendly, and attentive to their customers. Their cuisine is truly amazing, focused on flavors that envelop your mouth and leave you satisfied. It's a shame we won't be in the area in the next few days, otherwise we would have loved to return! Thank you and keep up the good work!

Amazing dinner! We ordered the pici ragù, spaghetti with shallots and asparagus, steak with peppercorns and had tiramisu for dessert! Not to mention a great bottle of wine! We brought our 2 month old son in his stroller and the staff was very accommodating. Absolutely recommend.

Everything about Il Conte Matto was amazing, from the locations to the food, the rooms and the staff. Recommend for this incredibly gorgeous region in Tuscany.

18/03/2026: Excellent pizza, the two girls were very kind, but I was alone, so they should take the extra covers away; the huge bathroom is worth a visit. The ham and coke pizza cost €13.50. Unfortunately, the lighting is terrible: a very bright, cold light practically above your heads, not only is it annoying and counter to any romantic moment, but it's downright dazzling. It also clashes with the beautiful wooden furnishings.
20/01/2026: A lovely place for a meal with friends, with a wide and varied menu and impeccable service. Prices are reasonable. I'll definitely be back and recommend it.

15/03/2026: Very welcoming place. The first courses were good (not exceptionally good), including the wild boar pici, the truffle pici, and the tagliatelle with tomato sauce. The large platter was just adequate. Prices are in line with the location. Definitely recommended, but room for improvement.
05/03/2026: Our intuition led us to this village, which seemed to beckon from the road, inviting us to climb up and explore it. It seemed even more special when we saw it, and the Osenna cantina (Omar) was truly special. The young man who served us was a wonderful person, and the places and people there made our visit even more memorable. Without a doubt, it was an extraordinary experience, and I'll take away wonderful memories.
