A centrally located restaurant in the heart of Montalcino's historic center, offering quality, authentic Tuscan cuisine.
We visited on a Sunday for lunch (reservations made by phone) and all the dishes we ordered far exceeded our expectations. The pinci all'aglione and tagliatelle ai funghi were excellent, the guinea fowl was delicious, and the desserts (torta della nonna and biscotti served with Vin Santo) deserve special mention. The dishes were delicious, even shared to sample the various specialties, and the value was excellent.
The view from the restaurant's terrace was beautiful.
A place we'll definitely return to.

You'll feel pampered like you're at grandma's house. Authentic Tuscan cuisine, generous and tasty portions. Super fair prices, and friendly, helpful staff. The panoramic dining room is super cute!

What can I say... Rustic atmosphere, generous portions and excellent quality. Two appetizers, two first courses, a dessert, two liqueurs, and water, a bottle of wine for €58, all topped off with a fantastic view. The staff was incredibly friendly. Honorable mention for the pecorino cheese with honey. Simply divine. Outstanding value for money compared to other restaurants in the village.

An unpretentious yet welcoming place, its deliberately retro simplicity is evident. Simple dishes, though perfectly suited to this specific context, are nonetheless enjoyable (I'd certainly add a mantecata to the first course... I don't even know when I last saw a plate of drained pasta with a ladleful of sauce in the center...). Reasonably priced.

Very nice and clean place, unfortunately it was a very hot day and the ceiling fans weren't working even though they were busy. The staff was attentive, fast, and very friendly. The food was delicious, but unfortunately I couldn't finish the veal scallops I ordered (much to my disappointment) because they were too full of sinew and inedible.
