An emotional journey for both the palate and the sight, dishes presented perfectly. Fast service and attentive to customer needs! Price appropriate to the quality offered. 07/06/2025: The place is full and taking orders and all. For take away consider really long wait (min. 30mins) we waited for 1 hour. The pizza was really good but the waiting time was too much for us. Might not come back because of this. They need more staff is they are working this much.

23/05/2025: We were drawn into this place because it looked inviting, cosy and had a nice vibe. We weren't expecting to call a halt to our bar crawl across Pisa, as we had a few more places to visit. The range of beers here appears to value quality over quantity, with each one being better than the last. The service was incredible and we were talking to the staff for a while, alas the drinks are quite strong, so maybe go for the "piccolo" rather than the "grande".

15/06/2025: A highly recommended restaurant with a lovely terrace and first-class, friendly service. The menus change monthly and offer a wonderful combination of aromas and flavors, with a variety of textures. Each dish is finely seasoned and briefly presented before serving. An extensive wine list is also available.

14/06/2025: Dining at Olivium in San Miniato was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our vacation – a true hidden gem nestled in picturesque olive groves, and absolutely worth seeking out. The restaurant offers three thoughtfully curated menus: two four-course options (one focused on fish, the other on meat) and an extended five-course tasting menu. Before the main courses, a generous selection of fresh bread (including cecina pie) and high-quality olive oil was served – a delightful and promising start to the evening. I chose the meat menu, and every single course was exceptional. The flavors were perfectly balanced, the presentation was elegant and refined, and the quality of ingredients was outstanding. Each wine pairing complemented the dishes beautifully, showcasing a deep understanding of harmony between food and wine. The service was flawless – warm, attentive, and thoroughly professional. You can tell that both the kitchen and front-of-house teams work with passion and precision. The setting is nothing short of breathtaking: quiet, surrounded by nature, with sweeping views over the olive groves. It’s a place of calm and beauty, ideal for enjoying an unforgettable meal.

02/06/2025: Horrible experiencia gastronómica para la hora del almuerzo. No tanto por comida, sino por servicio. Éramos la única mesa en el restaurante y el camarero tardó mucho en tomar nuestro pedido debido a que el gerente o propietario le manda para otras tareas antes de que pudiera venir a nosotros (podría haberlo hecho después de tomar el pedido al 100%). La comida estaba bien, pero nada espectacular para el precio. Definitivamente puede comer mejor y más barato incluso en restaurantes del centro de la ciudad. Si usted está pensando en conducir solo para comer aquí, no recomendaría. Cuando el camarero nos dio el cheque, había un cargo adicional inesperado. Cuando me preguntaron, el camarero me dijo que fuera a discutir esto con el gerente. Inmediatamente comenzó a gritarnos diciendo que esta tarifa es para "preparar la mesa" y que es una norma en Italia. La mesa se preparó con menú de papel delante y cubiertos en un sobre de papel, como se preparan durante el desayuno en todas partes del mundo. Entendería esta tarifa si hubiera un mantel y buena - comedor estilo preparación de la mesa hecho, pero esto es solo un turista - trampa tarifa en mis ojos, ya que cenamos muchas veces en otros lugares durante nuestra estancia y ni una vez se cobraron por ello. La actitud de esa mujer fue increíblemente grosera y no estaba manteniendo el tono en absoluto, incluso al lado de nuestro bebé. No quería escalar más, pagué la cuenta y me fui. La experiencia general es muy pobre. Definitivamente, este no es el lugar para pasar un buen rato, sino una solución de último recurso si tienes hambre y no te importa cómo te tratan.

08/06/2025: The ice cream is really good, you can taste that the ingredients are quality and the flavors are well balanced. I would like to give a little advice to the owner: adding one more person to the staff could make a difference. During my visit, the staff seemed quite stressed, so much so that to a simple request I did not receive an answer, and when I repeated the question, the answer came in a rude way. I understand that in times of affluence there can be stress, but a little more courtesy always makes the difference in the customer experience.

05/05/2025: Delicious food cooked to perfection, I highly recommend taking a complete menu to taste, starter, first course and dessert, including coffee and water (only the extra drink is paid separately). I ordered the mixed starter and the chicken curry, all delicious! For dessert I chose a coconut cake (the name of which I don't remember exactly) and it was exceptional. Clean and tidy environment with a very pleasant smell of incense. Excellent and fast service. Welcoming and kind staff, I thank the lady at the checkout who gave us a free bottle of water at the time of payment :) Top!

04/06/2025: Lunch, four people and two dogs. Everything was excellent. Tuscan platter with truffle salami. Pasta with almonds. Good house wine. We'd be happy to go again.

03/06/2025: I was actually expecting the ingredients to be excellent, being in a village, but at least on the day we went we were disappointed. They charged us almost three euros per person for bread, which we didn't try. I'm editing this review to explain: I can't know if I like bread if I haven't tried it. In any case, the food I ordered (3 dishes) wasn't what I expected; it could simply have been a bad day.

02/06/2025: Sulla via di passaggio tra Volterra e il mare in un paese che ormai sa di glorie passate mi ha sempre incuriosito questa terrazza piena di gente... Fermato. Il locale è ampio con uno splendido loggiato esterno. Cucina varia e pizza. Personalmente mi sono catapultato sulla pasta con le sarde che, dove proposte, sono un'ottima cartina di tornasole per la cucina. Erano fantastiche! Spesso sono in zona, credo che mi fermerò nuovamente molto volentieri. Assai consigliato, anche per i prezzi. Merita la deviazione se andate a Volterra

21/05/2025: On the way to Volterra we visited a pizzeria. We sat in the garden. We were served by a very nice and smiling lady. She took excellent care of us and our dog. The pizza was delicious!! The lady gave us a taste of homemade bread with olive oil. Also delicious. We didn't have Dolce, but we did have excellent coffee. The pizzeria also includes a hotel. Warm regards❤️

17/06/2025: Typical trattoria with a traditional menu and affordable prices. The place is pleasant even if not particularly well-kept. The dishes, however, were very predictable in their preparation and without grit. 'Minimalist' appetizers. Interesting but not very convincing main courses. Local wine of medium-low level.

03/06/2025: We arrived 20 minutes before closing, and I managed to taste all 3 beers on tap, very special, definitely worth returning, maybe much earlier than closing time, for lunch next time, since they have a pretty tasty menu. Ah... Very kind welcome.

03/06/2025: Craft brewery, which uses geothermal energy for its production. Simple but well-made menu, many are flavored with beer. Kind and courteous girls serving. Excellent stop during a motorcycle or bike ride.

10/06/2025: Il cibo era veramente mediocre, se non pessimo. Prezzi non alti, ma servizio scadente. Gli affettati portati in tavola erano rinsecchiti dal caldo, l'insalata mista era abbondante ma triste e non da frigo.

04/06/2025: Flessibili e disponibili anche al senza glutine. Cibo di ottima qualità e personale che fa la differenza. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Consigliato.
