22/09/2025: I was lucky enough to look around before ordering, so we only ordered a really bad vegetable appetizer, two terrible first courses, and then left. I can't explain the 4.2 Google rating.

10/09/2025: Cibo buono! One of the expensive restaurants in Magliano in Toscana! Portions are rather small.

09/11/2025: We made a very late reservation on a Saturday evening; there were nine of us, then three more joined us, and although the restaurant was more than full, the owner somehow managed to find extra chairs. The service was incredibly friendly, and the food was fabulous. The price was more than reasonable. Thank you so much, you saved our evening!

16/10/2025: A guarantee; my husband and I now eat there often when we come to Castiglione (both for couples' dinners and with family and friends) and I have to say that the quality/price ratio is good, the fish is excellent (you can taste it's fresh), and the wine list is good; the menu is simple but well-crafted, and that's no small thing, sometimes the simple things are the most difficult! We'll definitely be back and I highly recommend it.

18/09/2025: We booked at 8:00 PM, and at 8:30 PM they took our orders. The place was busy, so we asked if they could bring food for the kids, at least. We could wait. At 9:20 PM, still nothing. We urged the waitress several times, but to no avail. The owner replied, somewhat annoyed, that the kids should be fed first. We paid for our drinks and left.

23/10/2025: Everything was excellent, the menu was excellent, and the price was right for the fresh food... An experience to be repeated.

17/09/2025: What a fantastic spot! Beautiful view and two delicious sandwiches for lunch. We got pasta and watermelon from the owners, who were also having lunch. They have a very extensive selection, including ice cream and pastries.

The staff is also sensitive to the concerns of elderly people with hearing disabilities like me and other friends of mine who enjoy visiting. Everything is delicious, and the service is highly professional and kind. Congratulations!

30/09/2025: We stopped by this charming restaurant by chance. We were intrigued by the menu. Delicious, authentic cuisine, just like home. It's a family-run business that adds something extra. We'll definitely be revisiting. The chef's friendliness and helpfulness are beyond description.

18/09/2025: Ignore the decor, trust me and come and enjoy the seafood pasta. The spaghetti is al dente and the accompaniment of fresh tomatoes is absolutely delicious. Other decors may be more attractive but misleading in terms of what is on your plate.

10/10/2025: We stayed there for a week on vacation. The food was excellent (generous portions and really tasty), and the chef was very kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

22/09/2025: We actually had a very good initial impression. However, after our main course, our plates took a very long time to clear. We then had to ask if it was possible to order dessert. Somehow, we had the feeling the staff wanted to close the kitchen as quickly as possible. What a pity! The restaurant was recommended to us by the owner of our accommodation, "Casa Vacanze Bicchi" in Scarlino, who also pointed out that the restaurant offers a 10% discount for guests staying at her accommodation. The restaurant didn't want to hear about this.

13/09/2025: We happened upon Porto Ercole by chance and had lunch at Gambero Rosso. Nice place with a sea view. Two first courses and two desserts with half a liter of wine. €90, too expensive in my opinion.

18/11/2025: A pleasant discovery. Since they started offering aperitivo service, they've revolutionized the entire experience. I have to say there's a significant difference between morning and evening service, but I think it depends on the staff. Not all the bar staff are courteous in the morning; some are a bit rushed, others more welcoming. In the evening, it feels like a different place. The staff know their stuff, even though they offer simple but complete service. All the food is excellent, from savory to sweet. I recommend trying the low-carb donut if you can find it, and the spritz with a selection. Reservations are recommended for aperitivo.

22/09/2025: NOT TO BE MISSED From a simple bakery (on Via Giusti), they've transformed into a place offering baked goods and appetizers. A few tables outside make for a pleasant stop. Their pizza rossa is second to none. Parking isn't always easy. WOULD I GO BACK? Absolutely, even the staff at the counter are helpful and cheerful.

21/09/2025: Wine, nothing special, platter with 4 slices of salami, 4 of ham and 4 of cheese for 2 people, €20 per platter, and above all, nothing special, neither the cured meats nor the cheeses... €34 for two glasses of wine and a paltry platter.
