19/08/2024: The "Da Orlando" restaurant has a truly charming location, but the overall experience leaves something to be desired. After waiting 40 minutes for a starter of disappointing cold cuts - few, of poor quality and variety, this in my opinion is unacceptable in Tuscany - we consoled ourselves with a pinsa. Nothing to say about that one: pleasant, yes, but nothing memorable. The desserts ended the evening on a negative note: hard chocolate cake and three dry cantuccini. In summary, a "no" evening saved only in part by the location and a passable drink.

11/07/2024: I had the opportunity to try their ice cream at the food truck at Mengo, in Arezzo and I must say that it is excellent! Really good, strong flavors and not too sweet, and the crunchy cone which is sometimes difficult to find. Highly approved!

26/09/2023: Friendly and lovely proprietress. Apart from being a grocery store There are also many locally cooked cold cuts and delicacies I bought two bottles of sparkling wine and a lot of cooked food. Thanks to this store for a wonderful night

11/08/2024: Cute cafe right next to the cathedral! I had a cappuccino and a plain croissant. The cappuccino was a good combination of soft steamed milk and coffee, and the croissant was a bit sweet for my taste. I like that it opens early even on weekends!

06/04/2024: We went tonight for pizza. Good and well seasoned pizza but unfortunately terrible service and very long waiting times! We went in at 8pm and left at 10pm without even having eaten the dessert, because after half an hour of ordering it it still wasn't ready! The owners are rude and rude! Also quite expensive too! We won't go back again...it's a shame because the pizza was good!

19/08/2024: I'm sorry to give 1 star.... 5 would be for the very nice, fresh and always tidy environment.... the staff is also excellent.... 1 instead is for the arrogance of the pizza chef.... (always disgraced, with waits of 2 hours puffing, as if he were doing us a favor..... (at least he was consistent in doing them the same 3 times in a row at least...) (3 and 4 of us came for 3 Saturdays.... first time for a pizza waited for more than 1 hour.... very small, thin, without salt and everything else...., the second time we returned, however, despite the wait of 1 hour and 40 minutes , it arrived perfect!!! well seasoned, tasty! quickly taken from the fridge) without the usual 2 hours of waiting for the pizza chef, (he even said 3 hours at midnight laughing), despite having half an empty room inside.... and despite 1 hour and a half after our order, the gentleman the bald guy next to him got up and said to order a pizza, which arrived to him in half an hour, (maybe it was a big piece... who knows...) it even arrived wrong! ordered a white pizza with raw ham, a focaccia arrived..... ... but ok.... discreet, eatable after 2 hours of waiting.... and 1 marinara so full of garlic, that it was thrown down into the stomach the next day..... and mostly in format mini, let's say (luckily)....

19/08/2024: What can I say.... Historic place with shop and pizza restaurant, where everyone, and I mean everyone, in the area has passed for the historic "al fresco snacks" in Botinaccio. Very good pizzas and everything else.... Simple place but it's always good.... Then there are the kicks, outside and the legendary Jukebox... Without too many pretensions, it's always good... ..

16/06/2024: Ne avevo molto sentito parlare di questo ristorante e abbiamo deciso di provarlo per una cena con amici. Locale con un salone molto grande con molti tavoli. Purtroppo dato l'elevato numero di clienti il rumore di sottofondo era veramente forte. Al mio tavolo non riuscivo a parlare con il capotavola. Primi buoni ( Tortelloni e Cannelloni ) mentre deludente la grigliata. Di bistecca neppure l'ombra, fegatelli crudi all'interno e salsicce molto cotte.Anche il contorno non all'altezza. Purtroppo deludente forse per l'elevato numero dei commensali. Anche il prezzo purtroppo è stata una brutta sorpresa.

08/06/2024: We stay in this village every year when visiting for MotoGP Mugello and always book this restaurant in advance to make sure we get in. If you go on a Friday or Saturday evening of the race weekend there’s sometimes race team members in there too which is cool for fans. This is a brilliant restaurant that opens for lunch and dinner services. Its a small little village serving authentic tuscan food. The restaurant is lovely inside and its always full with locals which tells you its going to be good. They have a fire at the back of the restaurant where they cook all the meats so you can see your meat being cooked in front of you in real time. They also make their pastas fresh and theyre often laid out on the counter for you to see. We had tagliatelle ragu and tagliatelle funghi. They were excellent, so simple but delicious. My recommendation for dessert is their mascarpone cream pot. Its like a tiramusu just without the sponge fingers. The waitress took all our orders without writing anything down, then when youre paying she recites your order as if youre the only table she’s dealt with. The little things make a difference to your experience. The bill was probably less than you’d pay for a visit to Nandos or a similar chain restaurant in the UK. Highly recommend this restaurant!!
