01/06/2025: Let yourself be blown away by this hidden gem of a restaurant where TRUE passion for hospitality, food and wine pairings with cool beats in the background gives you the total package of a evening that will have you talking about this place and the experience you had for years to come!!!!!!We were told about Cestello by Paolo our Concierge at Villa Medici and will be forever grateful for the tip that had us have one of our best meals and evenings out for years. Francisco our server and Juan our Sommelier had us try the blind 5 course menu and wine pairing that from the get go had us guessing the many flavors exploding across our taste buds. It was sublime and had us enjoying every second of our dinner and wine we were blown away by. The chef and team in the kitchen had a great experimental vibe complimented with incredible ingredients and beautiful presentation that had us excited all the way thru the almost 3 hour experience. You cannot leave Firenze without at least 1 meal here!!!!!

The staff’s smiles were not just polite gestures, but truly heartfelt. A very special thank you to Izadora — her presence elevated the entire evening. She wasn’t just serving tables, she was creating a memorable experience with every movement. Her smile was sincere, her energy unstoppable, and her kindness felt real. She worked with the grace, precision, and determination of an F16 in full flight, yet always made us feel at home. She is the kind of person who turns a good dinner into a great memory. Thank you, Izadora — you truly made the night unforgettable. And my sincere compliments to the chef for the incredible food. I will definitely be back!

06/06/2025: This would have been a 5 star review but before we sat down I asked if there was a service charge and we were told no. But at the end when paying we were charged a service charge of 2 euros per head. We had the Strega and the Estate pizzas, and a lovely wine. Really good value without the service charge.

02/05/2025: At the Seta-Pizzeria bar located in the center of Montelupo F.no it is possible to taste excellent pizzas carefully prepared and listed in the dedicated menu. The pizzas are immediately visually striking with a seductive chromatic effect provided by the various ingredients placed in copious quantities over the entire base of the pizza, with an inviting circular crust that acts as a circumference to the central part; the latter very crunchy, hot and thin at the right point. The staff, in addition to professionally preparing a fine dough in order to churn out enchanting pizzas; appears to be very helpful with a simplicity and communication that shows a natural and harmonious customer orientation. What is described above is defined, in a business sense, in the United States with a single word: "ENGAGEMENT". And I can assert that here in the Company/Customer relationship, Engagement is everything. The location also proves to be appropriate with a very welcoming and well-built external veranda, whose glass windows in the upper part can slide downwards providing ideal ventilation on hot summer evenings. I absolutely recommend trying these pizzas

06/04/2025: Ottima cucina con possibilità di asporto o di consumazione sul posto. Menù variegato, per tutti i gusti. Buoni i vini. Occorre munirsi di pazienza perché al bancone sono solo in due, una per la preparazione delle pietanze e l’altra per il servizio. Nei weekend è preso d’assalto e il tutto si traduce in tempi di attesa un po’ esasperati. Consigliato comunque per la cortesia e la qualità offerta!

28/03/2025: Vino casual y "mordiscos" spot. Sólo tres mesas pequeñas en el bar. Hay más en otra habitaciónCook / barman nos hizo sus elecciones de Crostones . . ambos fueron fabulosos. Otros estaban disfrutando de platos de carnes y quesos o albóndigas.

25/05/2025: Beautiful location and central position. This theater-restaurant is very suggestive; you can watch a show and dine at the same time. Open kitchen. The food was good considering that there were many of us. I discovered it during a private event. The staff was very kind and available for any information or solution. I will definitely return.

15/04/2025: A unique experience in Florence. The format might not appeal to everyone, but it's worth trying at least once! The restaurant operates as a buffet and wine is paid separately. The cuisine is very tasty, but you will have to stand in line and bring the dishes and wine to the table yourself. After dinner the concert/show begins.

24/12/2024: Had a lovely dinner here - great service, cool atmosphere and some very, very good dishes, especially the tropea onion, the (gluten free!) cold spaghetti and the risotto. Recognizable Italian/Tuscan dishes with a creative twist of unexpexted flavor combinations. I'm still debating whether I found the carrot and avocado dessert to be a success ;) but I am certainly intrigued -- to be surprised like this is definitely something I look for in restaurants. I very much recommend Essenziale and find out yourself!

19/06/2025: While visiting Florence this pub was a gem! Its so unique but still encapsulates the Italian flair you want on holiday. The decor is awesome, bartenders were great with great tasting cocktails! Worth a visit!

19/06/2025: The steam punk vibe is immaculate. Great atmosphere with even better drinks. Highly recommend to stop in for a cocktail.

28/05/2025: Not to be missed. Spectacular food, unexpected flavor combinations, yet spot on. A chef with great talent, impeccable hospitality and a really nice atmosphere. I won't say more, go and try it, and you'll be back!

24/06/2025: Food and drinks ok, unfortunately for the environment despite repeated recommendations on positioning in a cool place with air conditioning. Due to very elderly people. The staff practically made us gasp from the heat in a veranda with air conditioning that however had not been turned on. Our requests were not accepted

02/06/2025: Nice, original place. Too bad for the quality of the products! The coccoli were good but I found the pizza to be of poor quality especially in the toppings! Prices too high
