At the suggestion of the guide, we decided to try food that was not obvious at first glance in an unusual place. We really enjoyed! It's delicious, inexpensive and the owner who cooks it herself is simply amazing! Don't pass by. We recommend!

In the heart of the San Lorenzo market, it is absolutely worth the stop. Lampredotto sandwich and tripe sandwich. Excellent. Abundant ingredients in the sandwich, tasty and balanced. Spicy enough. Eat standing in the middle of the street and the lady serving is exceptional. When I return I will definitely go for something to eat.

Good place to eat a good sandwich with stracotto! Generous portions and with tasty ingredients, for example the quantity of meat in the sandwich that melts in your mouth and tastes delicious. The seasoning is good and in general the flavors are well balanced as are the smells you smell. Absolutely good, must try. Friendly and helpful staff. A very good solution for eating well quickly without spending a lot.

Absolutely delicious lampreto ( beef brisket/ stomach) with spices and you can choose to have in sandwich too. Cheap at €5.50 for a generous portion. We came back 2x and could not get enough. Margo has been in business since 1986! She’s such a friendly gem Do come and experience it!

Compared to Da Nerbone, Lupen and Margo may be less famous; however, the taste of their Panino explains the reason for their high rating. The bread itself is tender enough to soak the juicy of the Lampredotto. The spicy sauce sparks a symphony on your taste buds but be careful as it is super hot. The shop owner is the cutest and hilarious person I ever met in Italy. She enjoys her job and is happy to bring up the best food for all visitors (she can even speak Chinese and Korean) .

13/02/2024: La trattoria Grotta Parri si trova all'inizio della via Bolognese. E' un mitico e storico locale dove poter gustare i veri sapori della Toscana con cucina casalinga. Conduzione a gestione familiare di antica tradizione. Ottimi piatti ben cucinati e prezzi onesti. Servizio veloce nonostante locale al completo (bisogna prenotare altrimenti c'è d aspettare). Ambiente accogliente, atmosfera simpatica e familiare dove sembra di tornare indietro nel tempo cogliendo aspetti di vita sociale che sta scomparendo. Personale cordiale e gentile dal babbo Riccardo, la mamma Finizia e il figlio nonché la mitica cuoca nonna Lina che ha festeggiato i 60 anni di attività nella trattoria. Locale aperto solo a pranzo e chiuso la domenica. Consigliatissimo per coloro che apprezzano questo tipo di trattorie. Noi ci torneremo sicuramente.
05/01/2024: Un locale davvero prezioso, oasi di autenticità in una Firenze spesso troppo turistica: trattoria tipica con piatti della tradizione squisiti, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, atmosfera familiare, incredibile efficienza e cortesia del personale. Bravissimi!
