My friend and I were visiting Italy last week and craving a break from all the pasta we were eating and happened to come across this place in our research. Not only was the food delicious and fresh, but the atmosphere and service was excellent as well. I got the chirashi bento box and my friend got the mixed nigiri and both dishes were super fresh, flavorful, and generous portions. Highly recommend to any sushi lovers in Florence!

We had the Omakase lunch and absolutely loved it! Really good price as well, we spent under 100 and had a lovely bottle of Ribolla Gialla as well.

Nice place with interesting food options. Well-prepared dishes. Good wine selection. Service wasn't perfectly timed, even though the place wasn't crowded.

In my opinion, this is the best sushi in Florence, featuring high-quality ingredients, fast service, and very friendly staff. The only downside is that the tables are very close together. The prices are more than fair, and the atmosphere is very nice and refined.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant—it truly exceeded my expectations. The wagyu bento was incredibly tender and juicy, with just the right balance of richness. I also really enjoyed the takoyaki; it was delightful and felt much more refined than the typical street version you find elsewhere. The dessert was beautiful and tasted just as good as it looked. Overall, it was such a treat for both the eyes and the palate. I really appreciate their subtle approach to flavors and their focus on quality ingredients. If you enjoy Japanese cuisine, this is definitely a hidden gem you shouldn’t miss.

we found bentoro in the neighborhood we were staying and immediately were drawn in by the atmosphere... and needed a break from all the pasta we were eating 🤪 our waiter was very helpful and accommodating and all the food was excellent! my favorite was the branzino carpaccio and black sesame basque cheesecake. highly recommend to anyone in florence who loves japanese cuisine

The food was only so so. I had tempura udon. The tempura was not crispy and the shrimp was mushy. The noodles were not udon but some thin limp ramen noodles. The green tea was excellent though. They charged for everything: water and green tea, spending 40 Euros for a meal on a bowl of tempura udon and a little dish of wakame (seaweed), making the meal over priced. The service was inconsistent with good courtesy but not timed well (I waited over 5 minutes before even getting a menu).
