29/07/2024: Quiet place to eat a delicious pizza and stay cool in the hottest periods. The dough is really excellent and light, they have a nice choice of special pizzas, in addition to the classic and stuffed focaccias. I've never been there before, but I'll definitely be back! Top!

28/07/2024: In estate si mangia in piazza e nonostante la calura del giorno si sta veramente bene. Pizza in stile napoletano con il cornicione alto, molto ben lievitata e cotta. Buona la scelta dei gusti con alcuni accostamenti particolari, più gourmet. Servizio rapido e cortese, i ragazzi sono veramente bravi.

06/08/2024: We came here for gelato one night in Florence based on the reviews - I don't think there's anything special about it, a bit too sickly sweet for me, and had nicer gelato both in Florence and Italy in general.

15/02/2024: I have been to this bookstore twice. 1 episode: indicated to me by the school, I purchased the books for my son; the clerk asked me my son's name for preparing the books. He rudely said to me "but are you sure how to spell it?" And then look, the books are a bit expensive, I don't know how much you can give me as a deposit, leave me €10 or €20. I was stunned, perhaps because I was wearing a simple tracksuit, perhaps because I am a foreigner. I felt humiliated, so much so that I left a deposit of €150. The girl changed after payment. Episode 2: I'm going to pick up the rest of the books. Another employee asked me my son's name, same dynamic as the first time. The woman, annoyed because I had corrected her on her name, (premise: "I will know how to write my son's name), took and threw the books on me, I politely replied that she had been very kind. Afterwards I went to talk to the manager, the only kind person, but now I just wanted to leave, I got the money back for the last book that was missing, with the promise that I would NEVER COME BACK! And so it was. I treat people with respect, because that's how I would like to be treated.

29/07/2024: This place was recommended via our hotel and it did not disappoint. Great Tuscan food with fantastic service and atmosphere. We enjoyed it so much we came back a second time during our trip. I would highly recommend the pappardelle with wild boar ragu.

24/07/2024: Veli Pastry Shop - Via Agnolo Firenzuola ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sunday morning I decided to have breakfast at Veli Pasticceria, a true temple of Sicilian style located in Via Agnolo Firenzuola in the Cure area. My nose didn't fail me: it was a delicious breakfast! I had the pleasure of trying different Sicilian specialties, all prepared with great care and attention. The brioche filled with ricotta and chocolate was simply divine, soft and tasty. The Bronte pistachio donut exceeded all expectations with its rich and creamy filling. Even the ricotta puff pastries, razor clams and traditional cassatina were a true triumph of taste, each with its own distinctive goodness. I couldn't resist and also tried an arancina with ragù, which turned out to be a crunchy and tasty delight. The only small flaw: the heart of the arancina, which was served to me piping hot, was cold. A detail that however did not ruin the overall experience. The prices are a little high, but for Florence they are average and the quality of the products certainly justifies the expense. In conclusion, Pasticceria Veli is a place that I highly recommend to anyone who loves Sicilian desserts or wants to try something authentic and delicious. A breakfast here is a true journey into the flavors of Sicily!

23/05/2024: The croissants are good. And the window is always beautiful. However, I do not recommend pizza and cakes (they leave something to be desired). We have had 2 cakes in the last few months, both of which failed. Precisely because we always try to give everyone a second chance. And it's not a question of taste (even if we really didn't like it), but the melting cheesecake and the very hard biscuit base... no, come on.

31/05/2024: Sehr schöne Lage und Aussicht ruhig gelegen. Das Essen war sehr gut und das Personal sehr freundlich. Grosse Auswahl an Wein. Sehr zu empfehlen.

22/05/2024: Très bel accueil dans un endroit original qui se situe au bout d’une magnifique allée de cyprès. La serveuse a mal compris notre commande et nous a apporté un autre plat … celui-ci a été changé sans discussion. Le personnel était très serviable et attentif à nos demandes. ‘Nous avons apprécié le temps passé dans ce restaurant.
