24/05/2025: Very quaint little cafe where you can get coffee and a good sandwich for a great price. I went there almost every day when in Florence for my morning coffee. The service is always very kind as well ☺️

21/05/2025: Great local corner cafe for a quick coffee drink and light pastry. Had the iced coffee, caffe latte, and un cornetto. The iced coffee was the best iced coffee I have had in a while. The cornetto had a subtly sweet, lemon glaze on it which made it very tasty. Friendly staff and fast service. Limited pastry options, but excellent for a quick morning bite.

31/07/2025: The lasagna was excellent! And the vegetables were cooked to perfection! I'll definitely be back!

18/06/2025: Alimentari Gastronomia Bagni provided the catering services for our wedding in Pelago - and we could not have been happier with their service. Valerio was a joy to work with - he is kind, professional, responsive, and very passionate about Tuscan cuisine. Within minutes of us contacting his business, Valerio put together a phenomenal proposal for a three-course buffet, with a separate aperitivo buffet to match - and all of that at a uniquely attractive price point, which I am confident to say is unrivalled in the entire Florence region. Valerio also walked us through furniture rentals and went to visit the site of the wedding to coordinate with local staff. During the entire preparation period, not a single one of our wishes or requests were not fully addressed by the Bagnis. On the day itself, Valerio and his colleagues arrived on time and operated discreetly in the background to provide copious amounts of Aperol Spritz, plenty of wine, and some of the most delicious Tuscan food we have ever eaten. Our guests could not stop raving about the quality of the ingredients, and the masterful execution of the primi. On top of that, Valerio and his staff remained utterly cheerful even during stressful peak periods. We are very grateful indeed to Alimentari Bagni for their wonderful contribution to our wedding day, and would like to wholeheartedly recommend their catering services for any and all of your events.

09/08/2025: The first time I ate here, the waiter asked me what I wanted to drink, and I said "tap water," but he charged me 2 euros. Tap water is usually free. The second time I came, I ordered a 13-euro pasta dish and a 330ml can of Coke. At the cashier, I discovered I had to pay 20 euros. This was the most expensive Coke I've ever had. Even after deducting the cover charge, it was still incredibly expensive. Really, really disappointing. This restaurant has opaque pricing, and I suspect it has separate menus for tourists and locals. Be very careful.

03/09/2025: Worst food experience of my life, so expensive and every bit of the food tastes horrible. It’s nothing short of a scam. The staff is very rude and serve bad food and then don’t even fix it. The noodles are undercooked, the pizza so bland and pasta looks disgusting.

30/07/2025: A great alternative to restaurants offering traditional menus. The family owners have a wealth of experience. The contemporary pizza is a must-try.

29/07/2025: Excellent restaurant where the food is excellent, simple and informal, and the prices are very low for a restaurant. The only downside is that there's not much parking, but it's located in the area. I recommend the tagliolini with shrimp and asparagus in cream! The tiramisu is also delicious because it's sweet and dense, unlike many other low-fat, sugar-free options. For an appetizer, main course, and dessert, I spent about €20. The only downside is that there were some wasps circling the tables on the veranda, but maybe that's normal in the summer there.

27/06/2025: Really good pizza, the best in Empoli is definitely this one! Exceptional bread, schiacciata, tarts and so on and so forth!! Excellent home-made cuisine!! I recommend it to everyone!!

20/08/2025: We had dinner at this wonderful villa, tucked away on the hillside but worth the effort. The sunset was stunning, the service was wonderful, and the waiters were attentive to detail, which makes a huge difference among other restaurants. Kudos to them! The dishes were cooked perfectly and were tasty! The value for money was absolutely appreciated! We'll be back!! Recommended!

30/07/2025: OK for a budget stay. The rooms are clean and spacious. Unfortunately, the hotel is very noisy (loud children and dog play), and there's no elevator (luggage has to be carried upstairs). The pool is OK, but has seen better days. The staff is friendly, but extremely understaffed, which unfortunately affects the selection. At 9:30 a.m., there was nothing left for breakfast; everything was empty. According to the information for guests, breakfast is advertised until 10:00 a.m. There was also no staff present. After a long search, the waiter came and tried to manage breakfast for the remaining guests with the resources at his disposal. There is enormous potential, and something great could be done with the property. Management should hire more staff, so one employee can take care of the reception and another team member takes care of breakfast. One person can't do everything alone, even if they are very friendly and helpful. Hats off to the employee; unfortunately, it's not their fault; these are management errors.

18/05/2025: So glad I visited this bakery on my trip to Florence! In an area that felt more local than touristy. A ‘must do’ for any coeliac. One of the best totally gluten free bakeries I’ve been too. They are rare. This feels so safe and the choice!!!!! Incredible. Would recommend the donuts and the chocolate flakey pastries. Great selection in the shop too of lots of gf produce. The staff were also friendly and spoke English.

10/05/2025: è un forno per celiaci, oltre focacce, pizze, pane non serve niente altro. purtroppo nessun cartello avverte che i loro prodotti sono riservati a persone che soffrono di quella patologia. locale alquanto squallido, cameriere scortesi. personalmente lo sconsiglierei.

22/08/2025: If you eat well the only flaw is that the last time I was there, they were late in bringing us food.
