Passing through Barberino you can't help but stop at Paiolo. The best grilled meat and monumental Florentine steaks The restaurant is very characteristic and in winter I often had dinner or lunch next to a huge fireplace The house starter is definitely worth choosing; the house wine is also an excellent choice Quick service from the two sister owners; always very kind, they manage to serve many people at the same time Reservations must be made on public holidays

Excellent and fresh food. We called just before eight and they seated us. The place is rustic and from other times. The food overall was really good, then the Tortelli... We'll be back

Sono stato qui su suggerimento di amici che erano venuti diversi anni fa. Purtroppo sono rimasto molto deluso. Servizio lento e approssimativo. Carne buona ma per il costo (sopra la media) non ne vale la pena..almeno a mio giudizio. Peccato, perché lo staff è gentilissimo, il locale carino e c’è una buona varietà di vini. Ad ogni modo non credo di tornarci, considerando soprattuto il rapporto qualità/prezzo.

This little gem has a delightful menu of everything you'd expect in a tuscan restaurant. We chose this restaurant to have the Bistecca alla Fiorentina and it didn't disappoint. I love the theatre with the displaying of the giant 1.2kg piece prior to cooking. Then the cutting up in front of the table. Fantastic and memorable experience and highly recommend.
