Dinner for a couple, ate and drank very well, excellent raw material. Friendly and highly qualified staff: Impeccable service. I recommend it to everyone even for lunch, but for dinner the perfect lighting and the background music have that certain something of perfection. Very characteristic place in one of the main streets of the old city of Alghero, via Gioberti from which it takes its name. Dining at the Gioberti Restaurant is magic, the atmosphere of the historic center of Alghero plays its part, but the main protagonists are the unique dishes, excellent raw materials, refined combinations that make you feel the true flavor of the sea. Tuesday is the weekly closing day for Alghero's commercial establishments. Impossible to have lunch... but here is a chef in the historic center while we consult the menu on display... hallelujah! It's the only one open: Gioberti bar-restaurant. The place is nice, two rooms set in the characteristic vaulted attics in trachyte-sandstone. We let you recommend two first courses, truly excellent and plentiful. Carasau bread represents an excellent base for tasting San Giuliano oil, typical of Alghero. All washed down with a sublime Vermentino "Cale Reale" from the Sella & Mosca winery. Should you happen to stain your clothes, no problem: in the anteroom you will find everything you need. Definitely recommend to friends and family and return soon. .

Cozy and charming atmosphere, attentive and friendly service. We ate cod garlic, octopus and purple gnocchi with scampi. To finish seadas. Everything really excellent! Highly recommended!

They don't accept sardex although they are still present on the circuit, apart from that the food is good, very fresh fish.

Ottimo ristorante. Cibo di qualità ed ottimo servizio. Abbiamo mangiato un'ottima polenta con cinghiale, dei bocconcini di maiale con crema di patate ed i bambini hanno gradito gnocchetti al sugo e calamari fritti. Prezzi onesti. Assolutamente consigliato

58 euro in 2. I Maccarones di Punzu buoni ma ho percepito poco la presenza del tonno. Considerando che il tonno era poco presente erano cari. Verdure grigliate, molto tristi, 4 fette di melanzane, un po di radicchio, care per la porzione proposta. Ottime invece le verdure crude e porzione abbondante, prezzo adeguato. Caffè, imbevibile, sembrava di essere all'estero. Il personale fa onestamente il suo lavoro. La sala interna molto carina. Sono convinto di poter trovare di meglio ad Alghero.
