18/07/2026: There are places you remember for the view, and others you remember primarily for the people. The Rifugio Santa Caterina embodies both. Immersed in the splendid nature of Vallombrosa, it's a place where you can breathe serenity and authenticity. But what truly made our experience special was the welcome we received. A heartfelt thank you to the person who runs the refuge, an extraordinary woman, kind and always smiling, who, along with all her staff, made us feel at home from the very first moment. As Apulians (there were two of us), we are truly happy to have met such genuine, helpful, and friendly people. Beyond the excellent cuisine and relaxing atmosphere, we will especially cherish the memory of the humanity and passion they put into their work every day. These are the experiences that stay in your heart and make you want to return. I highly recommend it!
